I've looked out for great shows from the 60s and 70s, that cannot be found anywhere, for a long time. I finally saw Loving The Classics had one of these shows. Looking at their catalogue I found even more. Being cautious I only ordered two shows. Then I saw the bad reviews and got worried. After a time, my order showed as 'In Shipping Queue'... for a long time. I emailed them to ask and received no response. Then I let it slide for a while. Today they turned up. No email, no nothing. I envisage someone burning the discs from source materials (e.g. Recorded off TV Land showings). Where multiple episodes are on a disc, a menu has been built and even some commercials still included! The quality varies. Why am I giving four stars? My bottom line is, I would rather have these classic shows in lesser quality, than not have them at all. If that is how you feel too; give Loving The Classics a chance.

I purchased a DVD over a month ago. It's February 23,2024 and have not received purchase. I have repeatedly tried to make contact with seller with no results. I've emailed, text and called with no answer. I've asked seller to send my purchase or give me a refund.no answer.
Ordered movie August 17,2019. Asked for Status in mid September 2019. Sellers response was "would you like to wait or has us send another copy"? My response was believe it had enough time to get to me... please send another copy. Follow up since then has been ignored. Last ditch effort before leaving a review was to call them today. Reached a voice mail box that said the "box was" full and to enter another number. Ha ha they gave me no clues on what numbers to use. I think they must be a scam.
Months ago, I ordered a DVD of Operation Swallow (attached). It didn't work, which I pointed out to them. They didn't answer emails, repeatedly. I can't work out if they are arrogant, disorganised or just crap. Having seen the negative reviews that go back to 2013 (!), its clear that they've also got an amazingly flat learning curve. Don't waste your time or money on this outfit.

I bought the series "the partners" on march 10 this year. I had answers by mail for 4 months saying it would send but nothing was ever sent. I am trying to find a way to file a complaint in the USA since I bought the series from France (with over 25 dollars shipping). Altogether over 71 dollars are lost.

I knew what I was getting into here, this site has had terrible reviews for years. But I decided to risk it, given TV series in question was unobtainable otherwise. Three months after I placed my order, I was surprised to receive three DVDs. Unfortunately, only 2 worked and, as expected, no replacement after a half dozen emails requesting the missing DVD. Though they did respond to one of them about 2 months ago and claimed it would be sent right out. I have a nagging suspicion it will not be arriving any time soon.

Ordered "priority mail" status on 2/16. It's now 2/28! I; m in Massachusetts, there in Ohio. Priority mail is 3 days or less. I've asked for their phone number. No response. They want me to provide order number but never sent me an order number. They did take my money out of my bank account. Experts at EVASION!
By far the WORST online company I've ever dealt with. Ordered 2 DVD sets from them and 7 months later have never received the merchandise. Multiple emails and phone calls go completely unanswered. Stay far far away for this seller for your own good. They will take your money but have no intention of delivering. Terrible
Ordered a series from them in Feb 2019 and was immediately charged at my bank. Eight weeks later, my order was still 'in queue', so I requested a cancellation and refund. Never heard anything back from them. Tried to cancel again in another month, no response. So I figure, OK, my loss. However, on October 4th, at 9:08 pm, they pushed through another charge for the same amount under a different name, called "Best Classics". WTH? Called my bank today to report the fraudulent charges and they will be taking care of it. Stay away from this site.

If you have any intentions of ordering from this website dont bother. I placed an order Dec 19,2017 and almost three months later still no DVD. I have emailed at least 25 times or more. Once a week or so I will get a response from Mickey. The last response was the owner was personally going to post my DVD. Guess she/he must of forgot to do it because of course still nothing. They were very quick to charge my Visa card. Total scam. Please at all costs stay away. Never order from this website.
I placed 3 orders in the last year. I have received nothing. Email queries are not answered, nobody ever answers the phone and there is no way to leave voice mail. Avoid this vendor! My only recourse was to contact my credit card company to have the charges refunded.

Order placed early February. Then nothing. Billed my credit card in March. Still nothing. Tried to reach them by e-mail and phone. Similar to Jacques Q, some guy writes to tell me he is working with the company to get my order out and it will ship within a week. Doesn't happen. Finally in May, order was received. DVD quality was poor and received only 8, not the 16 that was advertised. When I tried to contact the company, no response. I can pretty much guarantee you will be disappointed if you order from this company.
I ordered "Desert Legion", an Alan Ladd movie dvd from Loving the Classics. The product was great. The color, clarity, and sound were outstanding. I had a few questions and staff got right back to me in a timely manner. They have a great selection of movies that are hard to find. My order placed on July 4 2019 was never received. Attempts to contact seller via email went unanswered until I received an email ( look like a broadcast email) late Sept thanking buyers for their patience and that they were a 2 person operation; 1 person had health issues. Thankfully I had paid thru PayPal so I opened an inquiry and after a month received a full refund with explanation that PayPal had not been able to contact the company... lesson 1 - always use PayPal lesson 2 - read reviews before ordering. Will never recommend this company. Today I receive email from Loving the Classics in response to my last update request to them... a 2 weeks after I got my refund saying I had to contact their CS Dept... unbelievable. They should be shut down.
I ordered two sets of DVDs in August 2015 and finally received ONE set in March 2016. Two of the DVDs turned out to be defective. Repeated emails to them during this time have gone ignored. I would place many more orders with them but realize now that I cannot trust them. How can they possibly manage to stay in business when they treat their customers like this? What a shame.
I paid for a DVD from these clowns and after waiting over three weeks and no DVD I contact them and they say that they are having "administrative issues", whatever that means. So the DVD finally arrives over a week later and it is the wrong DVD. Then they say that they won't pay to ship back the wrong DVD and send me the right one. I highly recommend that you do not do business with these jerks. You will be disappointed. I would leave zero stars if that was an option, since one star is too high for these morons.

I have been a fairly steady customer of LTC for the past nine years. Although I have experienced delays anywhere from three weeks up to four months, I have always received a prompt, courteous reply to my email within 24 hrs. The print quality of the film titles I have ordered have ranged from "pretty good" to "excellent" so I have no complaints on that subject. Their rare movie classic stock is tremendous. This is why I never ask for a refund on a mail delay; there are great films that are so difficult to get a hold of and LTC has always gotten them to me, if a bit more later than sooner!
You can find rare films here that you can't find anywhere else. They are pretty slow to ship orders and don't always respond in a timely manner, but eventually the order gets shipped. The quality of the DVDs is reasonable for rare DVD-R movies.
With all negative reviews I saw in these site, I was thinking I'll just loose my money and quite soon I sent a message looking for my order.
Not quickly they wrote to me explaining the delay, and I've received the two movies I have ordered.

Really enjoy Loving the Classics. Their movie selection gets bigger every time I go on the site, and they always have great classic movies to choose from. Shipping is always fast and I'm impressed with the quality of the movies; Loving the Classics takes great care of their customers.
Thank you Loving The Classics! I just received an extremely rare film that nobody, absolutely nobody had - across the entire internet. Not only have I just received the film but the quality is excellent for an obscure 70 + year old film! Remember one thing, as many of these films are almost impossible to find these boys are a busy crew and require more time than other internet sites. But good things come to those who are patient. I received my film after 5 weeks which is very reasonable for impossible to find titles in DVD.
You make an order and you can never pin them down to a delivery date. First you hear, 20 business days. Then when you try to get them to commit after that time, they tell you it's in shipping and will ship shortly, but won't give you a date! This is a group that list as 5 employees. Don't act like you're a huge corporation where you can't find out when it is coming to me. I cancelled the order and filed complaint with Attorney General's Office
