Just received a "free" offer from Lowe's. Usually ignore these because nothing is ever free. However, I had been thinking about purchasing a back-up camera for my older vehicle. LOWEs offering a "free" one for taking their survey and paying s/h. ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT. Which states after one month I will be billed $95 and change. I guess I need to send LOWEs the definition of free.

I order a supply of lumber from Oaks. The order got split. The made me pickup one of the orders and delivered the second. I called to ask why no one ever called back. The pick up order I had to get. My delivery which was suppose to come yesterday still hasn't arrived. At 830 am I got a call to say the truck broke down, at 330 pm they said the delivery would be by 5 pm. At 6 pm the said I wasn't going to get it. Instead of rescheduling they are making me call to schedule another delivery. PROBLEM IS NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. I THOUGHT hOMEDEPOT SUCKED. I may go back to them.

I ordered a Frigidaire dehumidifer on line as it was not available in the store. It arrived in 2 days to my house. Free shipping and they matched Walmart's price. When I first looked at Lowes price it was $269.00 and Walmart was $224.45. So I was pleased with the price match. I was shocked with the fast shipping.
The contractor they hired to install my gas oven stinks. I caught them in multiple lies. Four trips and a month later it is still not installed. Lowes customer service sucks too. They hung up on me. They leave me on hold for half an hour or 45 min at a time. When I was in store and an associate trying to help me called customer service they hung up on her too. Four times I was promised a call back within 24 hours and I haven't gotten one yet. The installers kept forgetting tools or parts. They sent me to the store to do their shopping twice. One forgot righty righty lefty loosey and couldn't get a nut off. Three store managers have not been able to help me yet. They finally said for me to hire my own professional and they would pay for it. I called Peterman bros at 4:45 and they said they could do it the next morning. Thanks Peterman bros, you rock. Lowes sucks.
I purchased a door the door was a total piece of junk. The worst i have ever seen. I have been a contractor for 27 years. I can't even imagine the idiots you have building them. I will spread the word to whom ever will listen. I had to restructure the whole thing.

Be AWARE if you do not use a Lowes credit card or buy the protection plan your appliance warranty is only good for 48 HOURS. My refrigerator was leaking Freon less than 3 weeks after purchase. Absolutely rude and no help what so ever. How disappointing
Lowe's in Indian Trail, NC sold me a defective Whirlpool dishwasher. They refused to replace it instead blaming the manufacturer. I had to buy another unit from HOME DEPOT! I will never buy as much as a thumbtack from Lowe's again!

I was sold my fence installation by Matt at lowes. As a salesman, of course he was friendly and knew his stuff. After signing the contracts us when my trouble begin. They contracted my fence out to All Star fencing who came out and installed the fence in roughly 10 days. I was extremely happy with there productivity until I actually inspected the fence. It was horrible, the spacing between the planks were off by as much as 3 inchs. Some planks spaced 2 inches apart and some 5 Inches apart and one part of my fence that was about 6 inches off in height. Well I understand things happen so I reached to Lowes and Allstars and Allstars attempted to fix the fence 3 TIME'S, HELP! HELP! It still looks bad and I actually need Lowes to come out to my property inspect themselves. PLEASE HELP
I signed a contract with Lowes to reconstruct my deck for 25k which was way above what private contractor price. I was happy to pay that amount for the possible headache an unprofessional attitude of some private contractor.
Lowes asked me to pay for the job all 25k upfront as it's their policy so they can pay for supply and hiring a contractor.
Here I am 3 months after signing and paying fully for the contract and yet to chase lowes to do this work. I request a refund and canceling the contract as this was the project of my family for the summer (now summer ended work not have started yet) they made promises to compensate for the broken promises etc...
They came demolished my deck and disappeared again...

The My Lowes program is supposed to be a program that tracks your purchases, this is a great concept unfortunately a moron wrote the computer program that governs your account. They wrote it so that if you change any of your account information, it starts a new account and wipes all the information on your old account out. HOW STUPID CAN YOU GET. Not only is the person who wrote the program an idiot but the bigger idiots are the people who approved it and and the people who let this system continue. I think I will start shopping at Home Depot again even though it is a bit further drive. Nobody in there right mind gives people an account that cant be updated as needed.
Customer service Lowes McMinnville OR-appliance department. Not good! Came in around 1100am waited for help for 45 min before giving up. Only had one person to deal with about 4 customers. Employee called for help several times with no response. I left and came back at 415 again one customer service person to help with tree customers and this one wouldn't even bother calling for help. I just wanted to spend a couple thousand on appliances-sheesh!
We currently live in Bulgaria (relocated two years ago) but when we lived in the States Lowe's was my fiance's favorite store. He's a handyman and used to buy everything there. To summarize Lowe's in one word: ABUNDANCE!
I purchased a Kobalt 20" Self Propelled lawn mower( Model #KLMS 2524A-03) from Lowes late last summer and when I went to use it this year, I immediately had troubles with it shutting off. I believe the problem was in the handle which had to be fully extended and clamped shut for the blade to turn. It wouldn't stay clamped. I wouldn't recommend this model because of that.
On the other hand, we called the 800 number on the manual, explained the issue, they gave us a return number and we took it back with no hassles! Kudos to Lowes for the good customer service. Oh, I bought a more expensive EGO mower from them.
I never leave negative reviews, however, I am tired of Lowes bait & switch practices (which is illegal). They advertise an item on their website on sale and when the item is added to your cart it becomes full price. This is the second time it's happened. Called Lowes Customer Service & the customer service agent tried to rectify the situation by offering a discount after I emailed a screenshot of the sale item online. When she called her supervisor, Richard Miller in Indiana, for approval he denied it stating a screen shot isn't sufficient. I spoke to another supervisor, Dom (ID # *******) who claimed the situation did not qualify for any discount and the price in the cart was correct, not the advertised sale price. He was also going to speak with the customer service rep for offering a discount of which she did not have the authority to do so. I told Dom the rep was trying to find a solution and not to chastise her. After I got off the phone, the item was still advertised on sale. Am going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Will NEVER purchase anything at Lowes and will keep supporting Home Depot!
Ordered 2 countertops and only received on they lost the other and by the time I was refunded for the lost one the item was out of stock and I no longer could return the other countertop. Every time I called I would be on the line with them for over an hour and they promised to have someone call back. I never received any call backs. I had to call daily and when I talked to the supervisor he just hung up and didn't call back. Lowes customer Services is aweful for how big of a company they are. They don't treat their customers right.
Called store twice and was transferred twice. No one answered the call twice. Called again and asked to speak with a manager. Service rep asked what I was calling about. I purchased a GE washing machine less than 6 months ago and now it isn't working. Put me on hold, then came back to tell me they had only one person who could talk to me and he was busy. Asked if I had purchased the warranty, and if I hadn't that was my "problem" not theirs. Told her it wasn't my fault that the store did not hire enough people and that I wanted to talk with someone. She hung up on me. Called back and got her name and then she started yelling at me to stop yelling at her. Told her to calm down and stop talking, she wouldn't be quite. Finally I got her to take my name for a call back. Will be very surprised if they call back.
HOME DEPOT RULES! Had a bad experience with a lazy, rude, unprofessional idiot female cashier. I spent almost $1000 on supplies and the moron seemed like she hated her job. She wasn't helpful and was rude. I spoke with the manager about the ghetto acting employee but they protect one another and no apology. I NOW SHOP AT HOME DEPOT! What a difference! If you want the best customer service and someone to actually help you, go to Home Depot.
This company is nuts. They just raised their interest rate to 31.99 percent even for contractors! All I can say is bye bye Lowe's. Spent a lot of money with you but never will again. Bye
