Lume Deodorant

Since I posted my review, the company has offered a product of wipes as a courtesy. I accepted and thank them for their response.

Don't buy the solid, it smells like mildew. I bought three different scents in a bundle and they went bad before I could even use them. The cream stick is fine. Also, it doesn't last for 72 hours. It's effective for maybe 24 hours. I've been using this product since it came out. They told me the shelf life is 1 year open and 2 years unopened. Obviously, this isn't true. I bought the bundle 5 months ago and they are all bad. Company won't send me replacements because it's out of their 30 day warranty. I'm very disappointed in them. I've been a loyal customer for many years. Another thing to note is that the body wipes burn your private parts, they're ok for arm pits. They offered me a 15% off coupon but, I won't be supporting them anymore. They tried to tell me it was about "my scent preference " I don't think anyone wants to smell like a dirty dish rag. They've lost me as a customer.

I used lime deodorant today. I had it on for 10 minutes and I didn't like the smell so I washed it off. It took awhile to get it off. 2 hours later my heart started to race and my blood pressure went sky high. I asked my daughter if she wanted it and she said no. She can't use it and my granddaughter's underarms started to burn. There is caffeine in it and I have a pacemaker and autonomic dysfunction. My daughter has a fib and the same happened to her. I didn't know there was caffeine in it because I can't have caffeine. You should advertise that and all ingredients. I hope this helps someone before they use it.

Of course I Got a bundle- Body wash, wipes, cream deodorant and deodorant stick. Tangerine. I may have had a little odor below the belt, but I never had body odor under my arms until I started using Lume deodorant products.Not a fan. I wish it wasn't past 60 days so I could return. I wanted to give it a chance just to make sure something within myself didn't change, but it's definitely the product. Do not recommend

Attention anyone with auto immune disorder or sensitive to skin products. Lume stick deodorant produced a rash wherever I applied it. This allergic reaction had to be treated with Benadryl and an allergy shot from doctor. I'm still suffering with itching and redness two weeks after initial application. Be weary of this product.

Funny never had a problem with bo until I started using lume deorderant. Doesn't last a day and I start smelling like onions. No thanks. I will stick to arm & hammer deorderant and putting lume emails in spam box because it seems you cannot unascribed.

Lume deoderant stinks, literally! I'm returning it. $14.99 for a stinky smell to cover up a stinky smell, NO WAY! Fire the marketing dept.! What were they thinking!?!

I was excited to give this a try I've been using it for 4 days.I am a person who doesn't really sweat alot normally or have a strong odor when I do. But after using this deodorant my body oder is very strong like a punch in the face! Definitely wouldn't recommend. I'll just stick to my normal aluminum free store brands.

Lumi deodorant is great for those who don't want aluminum and baking soda in a natural deodorant base. I ended up getting mine from Amazon for $16.99 with prime shipping so I was able to receive it a little bit faster than ordering directly from their website. My biggest complaint is that I wish it didn't have caffeine in the ingredients. I am allergic to caffeine and could no longer use it. When looking for a good deodorant, caffeine is not one of the top things I'm looking for lol. Pricing is definitely a little steep when compared to other deodorants but hey, this is a all natural product! I'm not sure if it's everything put together but there is a strong scent in conjunction to what the deodorant is supposed to smell like. Imagine taking The smell of birthday cake candle wax… that's what the smell it reminds me of. If you're out running and you sweat a that's the first thing you will smell, not the amazing sent of essential oils.

Why would women go to a gynecologist for smells beyond that part of the body? Why so many smells? Is a bath recommended? Food change? Hormones checkup? Those commercials are cringey and disrespectful. I hope that women are not perceived as smelly because that message is promoted. Rather than worry about odors hours after bathing and using lume to cover it up, try another bath or shower!

Order was delayed, then when it arrive, package was torn open and product missing. Contacted customer service...crickets...still no response. There are all sorts of companies selling similar products and if you don't have the customer service along with the product you may as well just give up I sure won't buy again

It is incredibly expensive for what you get. I added $4 as you would get a surprise way more than the $4. Lol another mini tube.
About the product. It has an awful smell they try to disguise with a powder scent or any of the scents they produce. Absolutely disgusting. A sad $41 wasted. Note it starts burning around the scrotum area. Joy :(

I bought the deodorant and just used it on my armpits. I didn't care for the smell and I had to really rub it in. I can typically go without deodorant for a day. The day I used Lume I smelled bad by the afternoon. Some sour smell mixed with body odor. Never tried it again!

I bought this for both myself and my husband. At first we liked it. I was using the Lavender sage solid stick deodorant and my husband was using the silver Spruce Cream deodorant. We were only using the products under our arms, thank goodness, for less than 2 weeks and we BOTH broke out from the deodorants. My daughter, who is a nurse, told me that we had a chemical burn from the deodorant. The burn was very, very painful and took 3 days to clear up using petroleum jelly. I have emailed them with pictures of my concern and they have not contacted me back. Extremely disappointed.

I purchased the cream deodorant in Lavender Sage. The only positive I can give this product is that you won't sweat as much (and it does go on invisible), however the smell is so unpleasant. It's like a strong industrial plastic smell, and the Lavender Sage just cannot mask it. I never smelled before, and now this product leaves me feeling self-conscious all day.

Be very careful - no deodorant is worth $35. In the starter pack it seems as though you will get full size products. You do not. See the photo for what I received. For a gift they give you an extra set of wipes. Ha! A 15 count. So, for $35 I received one deodorant, 30 wipes, a tiny tube of cream, and a travel size body wash! Worse, I went to leave a review on their site and even though they mailed me my order was received they couldn't find my customer number!

I purchased the starter kit. It came with solid deodorant, two creams, body wash, and wipes. NONE of these products worked at all. The creams made me smell even worse. I reached out to Lume just a few days after I received my purchase and asked for a refund. They didn't respond. I reached out again about a week later and still no response.
