The staff is warm and friendly, and will greet you by name when you walk in. The massages are great, especially once you find the therapist best for you. Prices are so reasonable you don't have to chase Groupon deals to save money on a massage that you may not even like.
This business owed me three massage packages valued at $240. I attempted to get a response from the cooperate office of Massage Envy in Arizona to get a response and was completely ignored. The Better Business Bureau on my behalf reached out and got no response as well. Each month for over a year I paid a monthly membership fee that was debited from my bank. This business,still on an almost weekly basis,is sending emails to purchase services from this business. Massage Envy should be put out of business.
Horrendous customer service. I have been trying for two weeks to cancel membership. Belonged for 4 years. Am moving to country with no franchise. They are Using every ruse in the book: our "cancellation manager is off today". Would love to have her schedule. She apparently never works. No one else in the entire store is capable of canceling a membership. Was calling corporate in front of employees when owner magically appeared and was able to cancel immediately. However, today I was charged once again- and ten dollars more than usual. Would be funny if it weren't so pitiful. Don't enroll!
The representative never got detailed information. Just very fast to take my money and get contact signed. They could not even provide the service at my appointment. Horrible experience and refused to go back. Of course, they refused to refund my money. Even when I did not get the service. You must need the money more than I do -
I made an appointment over a week ago for 1 hour and 30 minutes for hot stone massage.
When I show up to my appointment the girl that was supposed to do my massage told me she didn't know how to do the hot stone massage. Really?
I booked the appointment in advance and nobody call me to tell that the massage girl didn't know how to do the hot stone massage? Dissatisfied and disappointed. River Edge customer support is the worst. My rating is very poor. 1 star still to much.

I Had the worst experience ever. Every time I call there always mean to me. When im done with my Sessions the Receptionist makes weird faces at me racial type of faces. When I thought the therapist Was being friendly. I gave her my number the GM Adriana called me and said I was unacceptable. I felt so disrespected. I will be writing to the Better Business Bureau. There's nothing wrong in offering your number. Plus the faces and treatment by the staff. Unacceptable
If you sign up for their membership, they can change your monthly charges without your approval. Also, since they were closed during COVID, my sessions built-up. They offer a "freeze-plus" option that will allow you to use your session as long as you are willing to pay $10/month (for something that you've already paid for). You either have to pay for the freeze-plus or go back to your regular monthly fee if you want to use your sessions. Then after you've been on 'freeze-plus' for 6 months, they will automatically start charging you the full monthly membership fee and will not refund your money if you call and tell them that you didn't want to go back on full-membership. I believe that this is an illegal action, since they closed their doors during COVID and you didn't have an option to use your sessions. I highly advice not joining any Massage Envy.

I booked an appointment and a few hours later had to cancel because I was being held over at work. I called to cancel and of course they were closed because it was in the middle of the night. I did leave a message. They charged my credit card anyway and when I called they said it's because I did not cancel 24 hours in advance. The man that said this was very rude. It was impossible for me to cancel 24 hours in advance when the appointment was not scheduled 24 hours in advance. There needs to be a revision to the policy in situations like this. I definitely will not come here and I will not recommend them to my friends family or patients.
When I signed up for the $75 a month plan, they told me I could cancel any time. They also told me I could let someone else go in my place. Neither of those were true when I went to cancel finally after having several built up because I couldn't get in there every month. They told me I was in a 12 month contract and would lose the ones that I had built up and we're going to refuse to let it cancel. Austin@ *******900 was rude and they're very misleading and they're just lying about the contract. Do not sign up. Do not sign up for the renewal monthly massage if you want a massage pay for them individually. He took away the ones I had already paid for. I'm disgusted. Austin you are a bad man.
They do not have enough people working there and you cannot get an appointment. They have cancelled two different appointments that I had set up. I can't even get an appointment for two or more months. I have now been charged for 3 sessions that were never completed and had to put my account on hold so they will stop charging me for massages that I am not receiving. This is no joke! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT.
I have been a member of ME (this location specifically) for OVER 10 years. The last 4-5 years (before Covid was declining, after Covid APPALLING) There are never appointments available online or via their app, and if you call (they don't answer) or go in they MIGHT be able to schedule you for something 1-3 months out. Good luck trying to get in they have only 12/13 therapist on staff. I was there on a Sunday in December 2023 and they had one massage therapist and one person doing facials and had to close by 4 pm because they have no staff. I have 6 friends in the same boat as me with a bank full of paid massage credits (2 years worth if I could get in Monthly - $2,500+) and we can't get in. And yet they are still signing people up. DON'T Waste your money! Customer service is disgraceful and management will not help you or provide you with any kind of resolution. They will however threaten to cancel your membership if you assertively, yet calming ask them for a remedy. There is a reason they have an F rating on the BBB and I lost count of how many 1 star reviews on Google. THEY DO NOT CARE! I have been lied to several times about policies and now threatened. This company is nothing more than thieves. They take your money and do not have the ability to provide the services they are selling. If you try and cancel you will have 60 days to use your credits. Now how is that possible when you have to wait sometimes 2 months to even get in for ONE service.

I signed up for services for one year. When I went to cancel, and mailed in the paperwork (3 weeks before the next payment draft), they said they didn't receive it in time to cancel the payment for the next month. I had to pay for another month. I was told I had a certain amount of credits to use within 30 days when I cancelled. I booked services and then was told when I went to check out that I didn't have those credits and I had to pay for the services I received that day. Burned twice by this company. I would not recommend them due to their poor administrative services. Yes, I did have good facials and massages, but I will not be coming back and I will never recommend this company.
You wont be able to schedule anything, you get credits each month that you pay. When you cancel your membership you will have to use all your credits within 60 days. You will not be able to use them as you can't make appointments. You will loose all the money you pay for a membership here.

Arrived at place 2 irls at desk one is Rachel and another name styler made my experience at the one in corpus christi tx very uncomfortable sends me to the back to wash my hands before even speaking with me I see them look at one another and laugh making me feel as if they saw something funny about me nevertheless its pre pd so I stay in this awful place please teach the people proper customer service.
My wife was a member of this place at cinco ranch for over two years. Because of medical condition she couldn't go to one appointment and they still charged her. Left a message for a manager to call her, but they never called. Bad and unprofessional customer service.
Worst place ever to get an appointment, they have no problem taking your money for a monthly membership but when it comes time to make an appointment they're booked or times and dates don't click. Short staffed. They don't mind referring you to Bedford qich is 30 min away. Sure no problem. So not only do you pay for a membership they can't keep, they want you to drive 20 miles out of your way to maybe get an appt. Not bad at 5 bucks a gallon. So bottom line the paying customer keeps paying more to accommodate the buisness thats suppose to be in customer service field. Unreal. Horrible place

I bought both my son and my mother GC for Christmas. I am not a member.
I went into Massage Envy - Sanford and asked for 2 one hour massages. It was at Christmas and they were running specials. The massage's were $65 each. My son went to get his massage and they told him if he didn't become a member it would be an additional $55, same with my mom. If they had told me this in the beginning I wouldn't of bought the GC. My brother also bought my mom $300 worth of GC with the " Christmas special GC ". When My mom went in yesterday and they told her the same thing, she said never mind, and was going to walk out. They said Maam, that will be $50 for a cancellation. She gave them her GC and told them to use that.

Paid for 60min massage got 40min massage. Asked massage therapist about shortened time and I was told "this isn't the place for me." This place is a joke and Kim is the massage therapist at lands town commons I had this experience with. Roxy the manager said there was nothing she could do and didn't even apologize for the rip off time and unprofessional massage therapist. Corporate needs to recheck this landstown commons. Location. Was a monthly client now taking my money elsewhere.
In February 2020, My husband bought a gift card for $85(to cover $65 hour massage and $20 tip). I used this today/ massage ok. No special "ambience."
My spouse also purchased another gift card about a week ago(6 months after prior purchase)-he paid $135-when I asked if this was for a longer massage, they said NO-same as was purchased 6 months ago! A 77% increase!
I told them my husband didn't realize he had paid $50 more for the exact same service, and they simply didn't care!
The manager insisted my spouse knew(NOT!) and that no refund would be given!
DO NOT waste your money at this North Wales, PA Massage Envy facility. They DO NOT care about their customers or about their workers! They only want to be deceptive and then gouge the client out of money. Over time, This will hurt them as a business and their workers(who I feel sorry for!).
After checking out yelp, consumer affairs, and other places with reviews, I know I am not alone. Just hoping that if folks check reviews first before spending their money, they can be spared from feeling cheated out of their money like my family.
After being a member for 3-4 years I was treated poorly when trying to cancel an appt due to covid. I was honest and let them know I could not come in because the covid numbers went up and I am high risk. They then informed me that I would have to pay for the full appt to cover the therapist. That is a lie because they do not give the therapist the full rate. I know this because I have friends that worked for them. I offered to tip the therapist for her time and they would not budge. I asked to talk to the manager and I was yelled at. When I tried to cancel my membership I was placed on hold for over 5 minutes. I called back and was told that I had to wait until the GM came in to cancel! This place is a joke. Not relaxing in any way. I was so stressed out over the way I was treated. I tried to leave a review on their website. Of course there is not way to do that! All their reviews on their website must be bought and paid for if a 3 year member can't figure out how to leave one!
I made the mistake of signing up for a subscription for my mom and I and not only did they lie to me repeatedly about how many massages I had left, but dictated when I coulde use them. BUT THATS NOT THE WORSE PART. My biggest issue is that they continue every month without fail to charge my card EVERY MONTH despite the fact that my contract ended in April 2022! They claim every time that they have no record of charging me and that my information has been deleted. I've been disputing charges for months now and had to get an entirely different card! DO NOT go to this place. Location doesn't matter because I've used multiple ones in NC. The staff is rude, therapists are never available, and if you have a contract they tell you when you can get a massage and never stop charging you! Go elsewhere! They're not the only place to get a massage. You will regret it!

WORST experience EVER! First time here, The room was freezing and the table was freezing I let the masseuse know. He giggled. I paid extra for the hot towels/icy hot. The towel was hot and wet the first time applied and then he applied more icy hot and the cold wet towel back on me, I told him I was Freezing at least five different times and he just continued to giggle. It was miserable. It was supposed to be a full body massage and the only thing he worked on was my neck my back and the back of my legs and no arms no feet nothing else. Worst thing in the world to be freezing and not even get a good massage. The manager said because of the experience I can come back in at the intro rate of $65 for my next massage. I would NEVER pay $65 for an awful experience again. NEVER going back and warn anyone thinking about trying them LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!
This office signed me up for a 12 month contract and signed my signature (which was not mine) to a contract I had no idea I was in. When they called to cancel my appointment (for the second time) I found out I had this 12 month contract. I had paid upfront for the 3 package massage and was trying to use this - although I could never get an appointment...and then found out I had not been using the other appointments, because I didn't even know that someone had signed me up. They are crooks. They charged my AMEX for the last 5 months, and won't give me a credit. They are conducting FRAUD and try and upgrade you and when you say NO, they forge your signature and start charging your credit card. DON"T TRUST THESE PEOPLE. DONT GO TO MASSAGE ENVY. They have horrible policies and you can't even go to other locations. Read the fine print. They are crooks.
