Massdrop purports itself to be an online marketplace for purchases made by groups of people. The more people that place the order, the better the deal the community gets. It is essentially a website for group buys. Their customer service leaves everything to be desired, however, as many users have expressed their displeasure in having their orders randomly cancelled. It seems that Massdrop over-promises and under-delivers on a consistent enough basis to make many online communities actually remove coverage of their website. It is hard to trust a company that doesn't respect its own customers enough to ensure that all orders make it through when they are legitimate and don't spend any time trying to work with customers who fail fraud checks to actually solve the issue. If something goes wrong, you're out. Period. Too much can and will go wrong. If you use the website for a long period of time, you will pay money for something and not receive it. It is an unfortunate recurring experience for many, and the savings aren't there for the benefit received. I often find the same products for less on Amazon or other competing websites.
I have made many purchases. The quality is great. Customer Service is excellent.
