As most are aware, Matches is in liquidation and I am devastated to see this happen. If one were to read my previous reviews of this company the only service that was lacking and inferior was the most important service of all. Customer service. This is not the fault of the employees, it is the fault of the senior management ànd/or the owners. I told them this repeatedly but my warnings were not needed and ignored. Customer service in any business is the most important service of all and by ignoring it, matches has gone down the pan. If it is somehow miraculously purchased by another business, I hope they take this seriously. I loved shopping there. Kind regards Gillian Linard
Matches are in administration and will not let you return if the item is not right. After being a loyal customer for many years they have let me down! No service and loyalty does not exist, think again before purchasing!
I have ordered several times before. It's better now because taxes and duties are included in price, $20 shipping fee. Called for tracking number and was disconnected. Within seconds a team representative called me back. Amazing
If I could rate zero stars I would, by far the worst retailer I have ordered from. I was scammed out of over £3500, and their excuse was that the courier said he delivered it therefore there is nothing they can do. I am currently in the process of making a claim for the small claims court to get back my money.

Hugely disappointed in Matches. One of the poorest customer services around. Lines are manned by very junior staff unable to authorise and help effectively. Promised call-backs that never materialise. Their interest is in shifting stock, so if you managed to receive an undamaged item in the right size and colour you'll find it ok. If there is absolutely any issues- you're on your own and are not likely to see your money back. There are several other retailers in this space and this is by far the worst customer care I've come across. Spend your money wisely.
Hello everyone, I advise against matchesfashion.com. The delivery is not guaranteed (DHL = catastrophe) and in case of problems it is necessary to fight for refund! Good luck to all those who want to experiment!
Has best selection of quality brands online. Always purchased from this company and received excellent service. All ok until I tried to return a pair of shoes. Shoes faded after once in rain. They were a pair of acne studio. I was told they are only for summer use and they can't refund. Summer is 70% rain in the uk. No information was sent to explain you can't get wet. Waste of £280. I have spent thousands over the years with matchesfashion. Won't be using again.
MATCHESFASHION has made buying Shoes/Boots on line. Not just Possible, but Pleasurable. Fast delivery, fast return. I have bought nearly All my boots from them. Amazing Shopping, Amazing quality.
My last buy, Louboutin Ankle boots. I was afraid that they would be too narrow as my feet are a tad broad. I bought a size too big. Quick turn over and I got My size 4. So very Comfortable. I tried to get them in another colour. Sold out... I'm so SAD. They are on my WISH LIST.

They sent me a defective item. Many unanswered emails and calls later, there's been 0% follow-thru, 100% ineptitude and 100% scam factor. They tried to scam me out of a legitimate Rakuten promo (verified by Rakuten), And lied about their ability to fix it... all very much in keeping with their dismal online reviews. They also have fake reviews on Trustpilot. I'm still waiting for Maureen Chiquet, an executive from the company, to contact me.

I had been a loyal customer of MF.com for years until recently. One of the products I purchased broke, and I reached out to Customer Service for support. Their agents were super unresponsive despite the fact that I followed up so many times. These reps are just like cats - they do as they please - proactive reach-outs are non-existent in their world.
Bought a dress in May, returned it in May, still have not received my refund. It is impossible to get in touch with customer service- they don't respond to emails, you have to wait at least 30 minutes to reach someone on the phone, and multiple times when I finally reached someone the call disconnected but they never called back. Their representatives always say they are looking into it, but there is never any progress or response.
I wish I have read the ratings before ordering. Matches claims that they received an empty parcel and let me wait for months now to clarify this with UPS. I'm getting the strange feeling that this is a false claim, because I never had that with UPS. They're so fast in shipping, that they normally don't leave the parcels somewhere. Guess I will have to go the legal way to get my money back. Never again.
Seen this site and the reviews... must admit, put me off straight away. But also looked at Trustpilot and they say 4.6 average. Glad I went with those. Ordered jacket later Thursday night, called to check the had my order ok (as I was of course apprehensive), answered the phone straight away and answered everything I needed to know. I have purchased few items and had them forwarded to another address in another country. I have contacted the company for a tax refund as it was not applicable, and they have asked me to contact DHL on their behalf! When I contacted DHL, I was told that it's the shipper that needs to get in touch and not the recipient (myself). Matchesfashion has not responded to any of my correspondence, and refused to offer any assistance. Please think twice before purchasing from them.
I bought 4 different times. I kept 3 out of 4 items the first time and was promptly refunded. The next three times, I NEVER saw a penny. I emailed and they quickly replied that I needed to wait 10 business days. Not a problem so I called after 15 business days and they said wait a little longer as by their account it had only been 10 days. I waited another 10 days and emailed. Guess what - never heard back. Now have filed a dispute with my bank for the $3,500 plus money they owe me! Buyer beware!
Ordering from Matchesfashion.com has been one of the worst online shopping experiences. A) never once did they mention they were 'international' b) never once did they mention that there is a possibility that your bank could charge you an international fee. Their customer service is horrible and their site is deceiving. BTW - I read through their 'terms and conditions' which also does not say anything about international bank charges. I order from other 'international' companies all the time (i. E. Louis Vuitton) and have never been charged a 3% fee.
Matches did not deliver my package which I had ordered last October 2022! A customs problem happened with DHL and matches refused to refund me for the package I never reicieved.
Btw. I'm a level-4 loyalty client!
They lost a loyal client for only £239.60
I will never buy any thing again form matches ever! They are the worst in customers service.

I bought a skirt from MatchesFashion US site. By the time it arrived it was on sale--by 40% which is hardly inconsequential. They REFUSED to price match. Told me it was now sold out, but I could return the skirt. So someone else gets the benefit of the sales price. This is absurd. Very poor notion of customer goodwill.
I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but I decided it was worth it to create an account to leave this one. After reading so many negative reviews, I questioned whether I should be purchasing from MatchesFashion. The item had an unbeatable price though, so I decided to go ahead and chance it. The item was shipped very quickly. I hadn't even checked my the tracking info because I expected the wait to be much longer, and then the package arrived at my door! It was in a well-packed box and in perfect condition. I can't attest to how the service is if any issues arise or if returns are needed, but my experience with this order from MatchesFashion was nothing but positive. I'll definitely be ordering again!

They advertise their items in the currency you choose. However, they are based in the UK so will process transactions in GBP, then convert the amount to the currency you requested. Which means unnecessary foreign transaction fees on your credit card statement if you are based outside the UK. When questioned they lie and deny the GBP issue. Keep insisting they only charge in your chosen currency. But one call to my card issuer and they were proved liars very easily. Got nowhere with customer service. Never again and will let my friends family know too
I was a loyal customer with matchesfashion for many years, I really want to recommend them. Their price is good, even not in a sale season, you can freely change your currency without paying extra, their shipping charges is very low, and they have very fast respond, and easy to return. If they have the product available, I always prefer to buy from them, they are great, and you can trust them.
Do not shop with this company. They will lie about discounts; and provide terrible service/
If something goes wrong, as many of the other reviews have noted, they ignore any request for assistance. Seriously, you will regret it if you shop online with this horrid outfit.
Genevieve Jones is one of the best designs in jewelry in the world and matchesfashion has them for the lowest price I have seen anywhere! I am supposedly getting them for valentines day from matchesfashion and will let you all know how fab they are when they arrive. Great experience so far.
I usually love matches and tell all my friends about it. I received an exclusive sale offer for $100/$200/$300 off, which based on how much you had to spend amounted to 20%-30% off. I went to the open page I had with my cart at my desk and when I refreshed the page and the price of my items all went up exactly 20%! Making the "sale" price almost the same as the original retail.
Was hugely concerned and emailed customer service but got no reply. I also chatted online with customer service and they said they were unaware of any changes and if I had any evidence. I actually did have a picture which I sent, I had sent a picture to a friend for her opinion on some shoes. As soon as I sent they ended the chat session! What a shady scam!
I tried to place an order and NY State tax was being charged at checkout. There is no tax on items from companies with no physical presence in NY. When I contacted Matchesfashion.com they kept insisting that this was due to licensing agreements. They said would absorb the duty, but had to charge sales tax. First, there is no NY state tax on items purchased from a company that has no outpost in NY, second there was no duty to absorb because the item was under $800. These people are scammers. Needless to say, i did not order from them.
Ordered a pair of shoes and was asked to send my identity (have been a client for a while but moved to another country and had to change my address). It was done and then there were days of waiting without any feedback. The money was taken from the credit card but my order (which i discovered by logging in my account through the website) was cancelled without any explanation. Then there were days of me (!) calling the customer service. Once they said it was a mistake and my order would be shipped, but it never happened. Anyway, the story ends up that i had to call this company for days and they never contacted me back, they cancelled my order without any explanation though i was an "old" client, and had to wait weeks when my money was returned after calling and writing to them. Very disappointing and rude attitude. Do not recommend!
