As most are aware, Matches is in liquidation and I am devastated to see this happen. If one were to read my previous reviews of this company the only service that was lacking and inferior was the most important service of all. Customer service. This is not the fault of the employees, it is the fault of the senior management ànd/or the owners. I told them this repeatedly but my warnings were not needed and ignored. Customer service in any business is the most important service of all and by ignoring it, matches has gone down the pan. If it is somehow miraculously purchased by another business, I hope they take this seriously. I loved shopping there. Kind regards Gillian Linard
Matches are in administration and will not let you return if the item is not right. After being a loyal customer for many years they have let me down! No service and loyalty does not exist, think again before purchasing!
After 8 emails sent to customer care, over a period of 5 weeks.
They have finally acknowledged that items were missing from my order.
Worst customer service and extremely difficult to get the goods you have paid for.
My advice as since this was a Gucci product, is to go to the Gucci store or order directly from Gucci.
Not work the difficult and unpleasant experience
I order gift for my friend from Matchesfashion. They wrote on their websites that they will dispatch every order within 24 hours. My order were dispatched after 4 days despite I call to their customer service every day, they don't do nothing. They promised me switch from standard shipping to express to make the package arrived in time. They swear two times, that they did it. Yesterday the package was send and with no express shipping! Only standard and it will arrived - I already have information from DHL in three days. I'm so upset with this company. Totally ruined birthday gift for my friend, now I have one day to search for something else and I will received the package three days after birthday celebration. Really thank you Matchesfashion! Never more!
How long does it take for you to reply to emails? Ages that's if you do. Your quick enough to put a reply on my trustpilot review saying sorry for i convenience someone will get back to me but no one ever has. This site sends out fake clothes that don't have all the necessary authenticity tags on apart from matches fashion one sating if this tag is removed you will not be aloud to exchange it. Avoid this site if you want your problem solved I'd just give up and ship somewhere else. Fake garms be careful! First pic my hat with matches fashion own lovely tag but no fendi tags like the next picture from another shop. Same hat

I've order many times from Matches Fashion. Note that it says "duties included". Once you reach a certain $ level in your cart, you can either prepay duties or pay them on receipt. Here is where you notice what the duties charged actually are. Problem is, for less than $800 USD, there are no duties to the US. I emailed MatchesFashion to ask why they are charging duties when none are due below $800 and they never responded. Thieves.
Very poor customer service, takes long time to get a reply. I made the purchase on June 27th, 2023, returned a dress. I still haven't got the refund by October 8th, 2023. It's been 3 months. Don't respect my time and experience. Don't recommend to anyone.
If MATCHES.com is willing to sort it out, I am willing to remove this negative feedback.

I placed an order for a pair of shoes for a special event and they didn't arrive on time. I called customer service and they informed me to refuse the package so I did never had the shoes in my possession and it's now going on 4 weeks with no refund just excuses!
Ive shopped quite a few times from Matchesfashion and can say that the products, shipping and packages has been faultless.
As with any popular, international store Id suggest researching and making sure youre purchasing the perfect item otherwise there might be delays in a refund or exchange - Ive never been in that boat but I think its kind of common sense.
But overall, you can get amazing prices for some older designer products, and Ive always been surprised with their timely deliveries. Ive purchased from them several times and have always been happy!
I'm disappointed and upset with this company as they practice dodgy business with no ethics at all! They sent me a faulty and broken Jacquemus handbag (pics/video attached) below. Secondly when I asked for a refund it took forever until now I haven't received, lastly this the company fault but I'm the one who need to pay the return shipping? I'm like wtf. What kind of shabby business you guys are doing? I will not order from this company anymore! Traumatised with the worst experience. Btw for those of you who think you are getting a good deal from this company trust me when the item reach your country there's a hidden charge for tax

I have been a MatchesFashion customer for a few years. I have not had a missing package until June 2021 when I moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The front desk at the place which is supposed to be secure did not receive the package. I had this shipped to a UPS Access Point, but the city did not match the Access Point Location so it was delivered. Like they say, one difficult situation ruins the entire brand. I am hesitant to shop now with MatchesFashion because of this incident. I understand missing packages, but this has been a very very stressful situation for me for almost a month. I was not able to enjoy Los Angeles and feel stressed out all the time bout the missing package. OMF *******
I just placed a £300 order and received an email explaining that I could not receive my order until I sent in a colour copy of my passport or driving license! With all the data protection issues and identity fraud going on I found this very disturbing.
When I called they said they would put me through to someone in security but after 10 minutes waiting someone just hung up the phone. When I called back they said that either I send my ID (and open myself up to identify fraud) or they cancel the order.
They assured me that I had not yet been charged and the money hadn't left my account (although I could see the transaction had gone through in my bank statement). After cancelling the order she then said that it would take 5 days for the money to return to my account!
Now it is 2 days until xmas and I have no xmas presents and no money to buy them... I think that was possibly the worst shopping experience ever.

I had ordered two pairs of shoes, different sizes, ended up returning them since they did not suit me.
Unfortunately someone at UPS stole the items and the box arrived empty at Matchesfashion
Despite clear evidence that the box had been opened (yes one of the edges had been completely ripped apart and the box was closed with scotch tape all arounf!) Matchesfashion refused my refund twice!
I had to make plenty of calls and send several emails challenging them so that the issue could be solved. It was a nightmare.
Take my advice, do not take a risk, order from somewhere else
I ordered two Diane Von Furstenberg dresses in size 4. They were both on sale. In particular the leopard print wrap dress is gigantic and the measurements are way off from what I found on other website such as Net-a-Porter. They asked me to send it back for inspection by the product specialist. It slipped out of my mind and then after two months, they sent me back the dress claiming that there is nothing wrong with it and they will deny the refund!
This is just outrageous. It took them two months to figure out... and with no prior contact whatsoever, what kind of customer service is this? Did the specialist even bother to check the measurements? Even if the dress is not faulty, it did not pass the return deadline. They are just doing whatever to prevent returns with lies and scams.
I am having big problems with Matches.
They owe me 650 euros that they do not want to refund.
It corresponds to pieces I returned. Matches say it was not in the package but of course it was.
I have been waiting since September!
Either they are just not responding to email either they tell me to see with UPS.

I was returned my item by 21th sep because they send me the wrong tomford case for my Gucci eyewear... but I was waited almost 2 weeks time to chase after them for refund. They reply still pounding... until I have to contact my bank to request open dispute to get my money back... funny things is they keep argue with me that the Gucci eyewear comes different case... hello. The case with big TOMFORD on it... very bad as not responsibility as seller. Can't trust... hope all the buyer just be careful...
Very sad. Really. I had high expectations. I sent a query and did not get a reply. When I finally did after a couple of emails, I was told to refer to their colleagues' email. Had I gotten it, would I need to send another one? Just disappointing.
I bought an expensive pair of shoes, $825. When they arrived, they were too small. I returned them and sent a message to Match asking for my refund. This kicked off a bunch of emails from them asking for pictures of the shoes. What do pictures of the shoes have to do with anything? I returned them, never wore them and I want the refund that their website says I'm entitled to. But I'm having to fight through my bank. Shame.

I ordered two pieces Pleats Please Issey Miyake top, both pieces are defected. One piece both sleeve have removeable mark, other piece under arm both side have the same removeable marks But I send an email and called customer service after I received it, so far no response from customer service. Terrible customer service.

I received a pair of jeans with a minor defect, but still wanted to keep them so I emailed for a partial refund, and I even included photos. I got a response a couple days later asking for me to send photos (?) and they would quickly find a resolution for me. I had to email about 15 times over a period of a MONTH for them to finally offer me $15 in store credit. HAH.
This site keeps cancelling my orders and tells me it is my bank issue. After tons of calls with my bank, this website told me my account got blocked and they can't unblock it without some third party security. Then I asked if I can take my gift card out of the account and give it to my friend. They told me once you link a gift card to the account you can never get it out. Is that a kind of robbery?
After I placed my order, the delivery date concerned me. It was too fast for an international shipment. I then started to read the reviews which increased my concern. I thought I was scammed! However,
I received the delivery right on time, it was amazingly packed, and I am still thrilled at the price that I paid. I didn't have any interaction with their customer service since I had no need to contact them. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase!

This company has the worst customer service and they are scammers. I never received my order and they refuse to issue a refund.
Take my advice don't order from them, order directly from the brands website.
The last order I placed at matches wasn't delivered because it either got stolen or lost, yet they didn't refund the money. After calling several times during a month, I got an email in which my claim had been rejected, moreover, the money won't be refunded. As I asked for the delivery proof, they said they couldn't provide me this information. So whatever happened here, the concept of customer service is non existent, and they just keep the money of never delivered order. VERY UNETHICAL.
I have order from this company but I have never receive my order and they do not follow up or apology. All they have to say is that the carrier still investigate the issue. They lost my order but they do not care about it as if it is up to me to follow with the carrier UPS.
