As most are aware, Matches is in liquidation and I am devastated to see this happen. If one were to read my previous reviews of this company the only service that was lacking and inferior was the most important service of all. Customer service. This is not the fault of the employees, it is the fault of the senior management ànd/or the owners. I told them this repeatedly but my warnings were not needed and ignored. Customer service in any business is the most important service of all and by ignoring it, matches has gone down the pan. If it is somehow miraculously purchased by another business, I hope they take this seriously. I loved shopping there. Kind regards Gillian Linard
Matches are in administration and will not let you return if the item is not right. After being a loyal customer for many years they have let me down! No service and loyalty does not exist, think again before purchasing!
DHL deli only orders to the wrong since last Tuesday. Then I reported my list toDHL and Matchesfashion. However, both companies still no replies to me. I'm so frustrated. It's not my fault. But why I need to spend so much time for checking and chasing with them for my order updated status. I spent totally CAD1000 for my order. So now, I cannot do refund and advise me to wait until DHL finished investigation for my order lost. For sure, I'm so disappointed about matchesfashion. I won't do the anymore.
I bought a pair of Isabel marrant slides which aren't cheap of matches fashion, 3 weeks later they were starting to peel from the sides. 2 weeks after that I was coming out of a shop and suddenly had no shoe on, the slide had snapped. I emailed matches fashion they said wait for a phone call and never got back to me. I think this is an absolute joke the money I paid for a pair of slides to just snap.
Matchesfashion is the worst "luxury" goods online shop! I received my parcel with a delay (10 days later than expected) and the item was defective and in very bad condition. I emailed them 3 times and then they answered after days asking for photos of the defective item. Then they told me they can replace the item once I return it. The parcel didn't even had an invoice or a return label inside and I couldn't return it! I explained the situation AGAIN and they didn't even answer to my emails once again! I paid 390€ for defective sunglasses and now I cannot even return them! My worst online experience ever!
I purchased a pair of Marni sandals (approx $1000 AUD) which within 2 months of wear presented with pealed leather on the base of the footwear. I emailed matches requesting an assessment for a faulty item and asking for them to be swapped or returned. Matches took 8 months! To sort out the process and then told me that the reason it was rubbing off was because that's wear my foot sat? Appalling. I will never be purchasing from them again! Do not shop here.

The bag came all scratched
The bag came all scratched, I contacted support about 10 times. No one answered. I returned the bag and with great difficulty got a refund. I had to write even in Instragram. So the money for the delivery of the defective bag was not returned to me, I also paid more than 100 pounds for customs and still deducted the money for the delivery back. In total, I paid 150 £ for the error of this store and no one even answered my letters. This is the worst experience ever. All the answers here, that we will answer you soon, are nothing more than lies and bullying. My first email is from January 11, today is January 26 and there is no response OMF*******

I'm Ordering at matchesfashion all the time and I'm stunned about the beautiful packed items and the presentation inside the package. Overall they are super fast. Often it just takes 2 days for the package to arrive from London to NYC. Some shops from NYC (For example mr porter- even though they are in NYC - take much longer! (And Yes, DHL leaves the boxes in the hall, even though they say that they require a signature.) Other than that they're doing magic. Love, love, love.
This is my 1st time shopping with MatchesFashion & I had read some of the bad reviews, so was cautious, but thanks Eva for packaging my shoes so beautifully. They are the right size, undamaged & arrived to Australia, in 4 days - that is better than Australia Post! Ordered Sat, arrived Tue by DHL. Can't fault DHL either - I rang & requested they leave at my door if not home, & the courier rang the bell, & left them at the door. He was still in the drive when I went to the door. So my experience has been fantastic :) :) thank-you, I have wanted these shoes snce I saw them last Oct - finally a great price too.

f you are worried about DHL, ring ahead & arrange an alternative delivery option. If you are unsure of the product, ring MatchesFashiion as they were v helpful when I rang them before placing my order.
I bought and paid for an item for a gift for my wife from this website waited a week for it to arrive as promised and found after callthat they had sold me an item they had no stock of the item and it would arrive in 4-6 weeks well past xmas.
Yesterday I purchased an item and today has been cancelled for no reason. I've ben told that it's because my credit card has not passed their secury checks, wheter my balance now my money has been taken.
I now wait for the refund and I won't ever order from Matchesfashion again.
Such a disappointment, wrongfully displayed sizes which led me to purchasing two pairs of shoes that arrived huge. They offered no solution to me and refused to refund expensive shipping costs.

I have repeatedly contacted customer service regarding a faulty pair of sandals. This will be the 3rd week and I a disappointed and surprised it is taking so long. It was difficult sending the shoes back from the start being advised of wrong information and repeatedly calling with no callback. Due to the fault of the shoe I have asked for a replacement pair rather than a refund and do not understand the issue, it would have been easier to shop direct with the brand. Order number is OMF*******. Can someone please come back to me today and advise me a replacement pair of the shoes are on their way.
Delivery was fast and using DHL but they dont offer free returns, you pay 10 to return the item (and charge steep delivery fees) AND you have to create an account with them to make a return at all. BAD customer service, will not purchase from there again

You do same day and then they tell you not coming today, then I called to find out what going on they rude and not trying to help, money not refunded

Item received damaged and clearly worn before. They refused a refund while needed to write 20plus emails and had the nerve to charge for delivery AND return. Total and complete disaster - avoid!

£700 Cartier sunglasses broken after 6/7 months, Matches have had 3 months to resolve the issue but so far nothing! Just palmed off with excuses. Not even a partial refund to get them repairs myself.

Avoid at all costs. I purchased a pair of Gianvito Rossi Portifino heels and upon the second wear the ankle strap broke. It caused me to fall down. Upon contacting Matches and showing them photos of the shoes, which even had blood on them from the fall - I was told I have to wait 2 working days for them to decide if I can return them. Ummm?! This process clearly highlights Maches lack of customer service and is actually violating my rights as a consumer. I am now looking into alternate options to recover the cost of the shoes. Shame on you Matches.
Had three orders on the same day and tried to get them to be delivered the next day - only to see that one order wasn't shipped. When I called customer service, twice, it turned out to be my problem and that they couldn't be bothered to simply change the delivery method to solve the problem.
I ordered my Balenciaga Tee on Monday from MatchesFashion I complete the email with them as request from matches I need an email so I created after that i proceed to the payment everything is good until I go back the home patch of MatchesFashion my email is invalid can't be entered and i've been messaging MatchesFashion about this issue and they are not replying me. Is this how your coustemer service is? Isit fair to us from buying for u and not knowing that u won't reply to us. This is really horrible. My order number OMF*******. Writing to express my strong disappointments and concerns. I placed an order last week, scheduled to be delivered last Friday, DHL couldn't deliver. Then waiting on Monday, DHL came, but said I was not at home. Despite the fact that my order's receipt name is C/o LEASING OFFICE. Then I asked to hold in the station, I drove all the way to the station, but they closed early. Ridiculous, right? Then I called both DHL and matchesfashion and they promised to deliver to me the next day. Waiting at home all day, but didn't get the package. So I called DHL and they said they forgot my package in the station.
So far, I have paid more than $100 on Uber just to receive my package. Their services and the experiences are simply horrible.
I live in Australia and have always found MatchesFashion to be fantastic, having used them since June 2020. There have great particulars of product dimensions on their site (for clothing which is what I buy), range of brands, and sizes in stock. They send the package within 1-2 days of the order and I get a text and e-mail confirmation when dispatched. 3-4 days later DHL deliver to me without any issue. Products are packed nicely in either their premium box (by request) or eco friendly. Only Mr Porter I have found to be a little better in this regard (premium box packaging), however Matches Fashion do a very good job as well. It's easy to return unwanted items using their site and the included DHL label and returns invoice, and it books the DHL pickup from their site, at least for us Australians). Staff have resolved any issue without much hassle (eg. Discount not applying correctly). As I moved up in their loyalty program, I receive occasional discount weeks or weekends and recently a $400 birthday credit. No one else has done that and I have spent a lot on other sites also. The only area they could maybe improve on is e-mail response time, however I expect they have been slammed during Covid. Responses have taken up to 2-3 days on occasion. Sales are also very good, starting at around 40% off for many items, and then moving up to 70% over time. Overall I highly recommend them and I really don't understand these negative reviews. I ordered a pair of shoes from Match Fashion paying £20 delivery charge on my international shipping. When the shoes arrived the shipping company asked to charge me an additional £15 for getting my package out of customs (more than the custom tax itself) bringing my already extremely high shipping cost to £35. When I approached customer service regarding the hidden fee (no where it stated that these charges may apply) they said that there is nothing they can do and claimed no responsibility for any additional fees by THEIR delivery company.
