I took my wife to maurices just to check it out. The employees greeted us with a Welcome to maurices. Being a man I though it was going to be one of those days. The employees made it a joyful experience. Thanks guys
Just wish their jeans would Hold up an not Rip or Tear within a few Months. I bought my Jeans in October of 2023, an the Belt Loops already tore off, now the Thighs are Tearing already and I've only had them for 4 months. They need to do better on their Quality of Jeans. Instead of making them so Cheap. I have a pair of Torrid jeans that are a Starting to tear after 4yrs of having them.
I like shopping at Maurices and find a lot of unique items. My biggest complaint is waiting two weeks for my order to ship, then getting an email stating that it is canceled due to unavailable inventory or unforeseen circumstances. I just ordered a sweatshirt I really liked and had this happen again. This is the third time it's happened in less than a year. Very disappointing.

Twice I selected 2 different Silver jeans filtering by inseam length. It gave me a couple choices. Both times I was able to get to confirm order. At that time it tells me my selection is out of stock. VERY frustrating! I feel like I have to race when I'm shopping when the item says "low inventory". Instead I will go somewhere else.
The quality of their clothing is very poor from even a year ago, and the photos are deceptive as to the actual article of clothing. Maurices was once my favorite Shop, but not anymore. I will not be shopping there anymore.
I ordered some clothes through their website and if what the order tracker says is true, it will be 10 days from order to delivery. I could have just gone to the damn store if I knew it was going to take THAT long. I live in a major city, not some rural area. Theres no reason it should take that long. Amazon delivers in 2 days.
Becca and Nikki work at the Maurice Store in Cherryvale Mall in Rockford, Illinois. Those two gals are awesome! I spent about an hour shopping with them helping me find exactly what I needed. So refreshing to meet sales professionals who actually want to help you find what you are looking for. I will go back and hope to see their smiling faces when I do!
I like the fact of buying things online since the stores around me don't have much of a selection. I don't like that when your shopping on their website and things are taken out of your cart before you have a chance to even checkout. Really frustrating! Tonight I bought off of there. Didn't get the free shipping like I was suppose to and I was over 50.00. While I was in the middle of checking out and updating my information etc. stuff was removed from my cart again. I didn't realize it til after I submitted my order. Not really happy right now with them and I think I will be shopping elsewhere.
Over 250.000 orders from 11/09-11/29 have gone missing. They were supposed to be delivered by 12/16 at the latest but still these order are MIA their over the seas customers service doesn't care. The refuse to return you money and can not account for any of these orders. So as if 2020 wasn't bad enough they are going to kill peoples Christmas when they already are living check to check due to the pandemic.
The bill was paid in full, 6 days early, in the store. The next credit card statement included interest and a $30 late fee. After spending hours on the phone, successive representatives with poor English skills denied that any payment had been made because they had no record of it. Bank statement confirmed payment was made (check cashed). A call to the store confirmed their record of the payment (I have the receipt and offered to provide it to the credit card rep). The store rep called the credit card dept. (3-way call) but they would not listen to her either! Not sure how to deal with such blind ineptitude.
I rate this store a 5 star because I know retail inside and out. I'm a 22 year old woman and I am 5'11". Fairly tall for a woman. I am always confident in the fact that I know I can go to Maurices when I need to shop for new jeans. I'm very picky about the style and fit of my jeans. Here, I can find jeans that are actually long enough and slim enough. And if they don't have something I like, I can order them. And they're at great prices. Also, no matter what store I go into, the staffing there is always so nice and helpful. I had one employee practically throwing clothing into my changing room to help my find new work clothes. She helped me find over $400 worth of clothes that I just loved. Keep up the good work!
First time I shopped here bought a pair of shoes nov 30th still yet to get them annoyed, order another pair the other day for secret Santa I said ill make i get them asap this time. Was thrilled got them today box said 9 1/2 these damn shoes are 8 1/2 and I'm missing the jewelry to go with this! So I reached out to customer service took 2 hrs to contact someone and the first pair of shoes have yet been sent out and they will not refund me! The proof is in the pictures! Can someone please tell me if I'm wrong? What happend to making customers happy and wanting them to come back maurices will be out of business soon if they keep it up... they have great deals and I love there products but they don't care about the customers
Offered a discount to sign up for credit card and then never got a bill. A few months later it struck me that I had made that purchase and never paid it. So after I track them down they refuse to waive the interest. So I have to pay for my purchases and their fees. Not happy at all in my now very overpriced shoes. Unsatisfied and even feel dooped by what I thought was a reputable company.
They have lost 3 of my returns. I e-mailed them with the tracking info and they can't locate the returns. I ended up getting my refund with a request. I am waiting now for another return I made a month ago. The service rep told me I cant do online returns because someone must be stealing my packages? I give them the tracking and it shows delivered. How is that someone stealing them? The worst customer service and return department ever!
I bought two gift cards at Christmas each for the amount of $75.00. One card had $75 on it the other showed $0 balance. Two times I tried to get it corrected. They tell me the gift card I have is not the right one. So I'm out the $75.00. Well my daughter didn't get to use her gift card I got her for Christmas. I believe some one loaded the card and kept it or gave it to someone else. So I'm out the $75.00' Nice little thing they got going on. Heck every time I order anything it is on back order or not in stock. How do you sell something you don't have. I know use a gift card and you still pay for it. So good luck buying gift cards online.
I've always bought jeans at Maurices. This time I went in and the same size, same name of the jean didn't fit. My old pairs that have been washed hundreds of times fit in yet new jeans were too tight and couldn't even get them on. Went ahead and bought the next size up after trying on and they do look okay in the mirror but fit is awful.
Too loose an hour after being at work and saggy baggy. Feel like a grandma in them. Will try to return them.
I absolutely adore shopping at Maurices.com as well as at my local Maurices store in West TOWNE mall in Madison, WI. Online and in-store staff are so friendly and helpful at all times. Thank you for your superb customer care.
I ordered a pair of boots for my daughter on November 15, on December 1 I still had not received them, was on hold with company 3 different times for hours, to find out they had lost my order. At the advice of a representative, I reordered them, with 2 day shipping which I paid extra for. I still have not received boots, have been on hold for 2 hours, still have not talked to anyone. I can not track my order due to a problem in maurices system when you pay with PayPal. This is a poorly run company that I would not recommend to anyone, nor will I ever do business with again
I ordered online June 6; was emailed June 7 that my order was on the way via UPS 5-7 day shipping (even thought their shipping policy is 7-10 business days). When I tried tracking the order, the shipment never showed up (only the label had been printed). I tried calling and emailing but kept getting the same story, "you are still in the 10-day window". I tried explaining that my card had been charged (June 7) but my package was still sitting in the warehouse.
I finally hit the end of my 10-day window today and was told my items were never picked up by UPS (which I told me several times) and that they would issue a refund and reorder my items. However, when the CS rep returned to the phone she informed me that 3 of my 6 items were no longer available (no sh!%).
I told her to just issue a refund and that I would shop elsewhere in the future.
Eric literally gave me the best customer service and beyond, I've had the pleasure of experiencing, the past couple of years. He gave me an honest opinion on the blazer I purchased. He spent the time with me too decide if it was me or not (it totally was) he then helped me with the size and a matching shirt. His personality was one of the best I've come across in a good while and cares about fashion. Thank you Eric you are amazing
I have got clothes from Maurices for many many years. I have given this company thousands of dollars a year in the amount of clothes that I buy from them. It has only been recently in the last year to year-and-a-half that every pair of jeans that I have bought and from Maurices that are the Maurices brand have fallen apart or given out in the leg thigh area. Your jeans material quality has dropped significantly. And I just wanted you to know that I have noticed the difference. If you're going to change the quality of your product the prices need to reflect that. So at this point in time I will no longer be buying jeans from you guys especially if I'm spending $40 on a pair of pants that after 6 months of wearing them completely gives out.
I love the clothes from Maurices and I shop our local store and online often. Recently I ordered a pair of pants and was very excited to get them. I received an email that said my order had been cancelled with no explanation. I chatted with a representative who apologized, said it was a computer glitch and asked me to call the care team to get the item reordered with free expedited shipping. I did and they were great. The item was reordered, I got 15% off plus free next day shipping. I couldn't ask for better service. I will definitely keep shopping at Maurices.
I purchased a short sleeve sweatshirt tunic with rolled button on sleeve. The fit was great, the quality was very good and comfortable. I received it in just couple days.
I loved it so I went online again and bought it in another color. We now have a Maurice store in mall so I will shop there also. Happy with my purchase.
I shipped a pair of jeans back, no big deal right I have shipped something back for return before. It had been awhile though and no refund. I called and they stated returns take 30 days. 30 days?!?!? I haven't done business with anyone who takes that long and I wont be doing business with Maurices anymore, horrible service and expensive jeans at that.
I have always loved the Maurice's clothing but every time I have ordered from them they cancel something on my order. It is disappointing and misleading. I have had enough and will be giving my business to a company that is consistent and completes customer orders. It's obvious Maurice's doesn't want my business.
Maurices used to have a great selection of clothes for the work place. They are trending more towards teens now and leaving behind the young professionals that are looking for business casual clothes. Bring back the work appropriate dresses!
