Just wish their jeans would Hold up an not Rip or Tear within a few Months. I bought my Jeans in October of 2023, an the Belt Loops already tore off, now the Thighs are Tearing already and I've only had them for 4 months. They need to do better on their Quality of Jeans. Instead of making them so Cheap. I have a pair of Torrid jeans that are a Starting to tear after 4yrs of having them.
To me, this was a GREAT find! On my way home from out of town one day, I happened across an outlet mall (so of course I had to stop and shop, lol!). Until that day I had never heard of Maurices.
The store has both casual and wear to work clothes. For the price you pay, I think the quality of the clothes are worth it, if not above and beyond. Unlucky for me, the closest one is a good hour away... So begins my flawless online experience with them! I once ordered a dress that looked as if it cost at least $200+, but I only paid $50 :D! I won't say I love everything of theirs, but once in awhile I find a dress or shirt to my liking.
On one occasion, I purchased a dress in XS, but had to return it for a Small (yes, this dress was totally worth the return shipping fee AND reshipment fee!). I have absolutely non-existent you-know-what's, but I just could NOT fit into the XS. My bust was preventing me from slipping into it -- let me tell you, that has never happened; I personally got a good laugh out of it *dies*.
The return process was easy. With your package, they include a pre-paid, pre-addressed return label that just needs to be stuck on the return package. They do deduct the return shipping cost from your refund, but for what it's worth, it was one hassle free return process. My money was promptly refunded as soon as the package arrived (there's also a tracker for the return package).
They have always answered all my e-mails/questions promptly! And they also don't filter customer reviews, which I appreciate. I'm so wary of sites where all the clothings get 4+ stars. Like, really?
Bottom line: Good, affordable clothes. True to size most of the time. Prompt shipping. Great customer service. Once in awhile you'll find something truly amazing, and that's totally worth revisiting the site occasionally in hopes of finding that hidden gem!
I have shopped at Maurices in store and online for years this was the only place I could find the style and fit that I loved. But this year 2016 I would go to three or four different stores they don't carry Silver or Vigos in any of them unless they are a return, the selection and style has went way downhill and WORST of all I got online yesterday for the after Christmas sale and not once not twice but THREE times by the time I picked the size jeans I wanted and searched through tops and had EVERYTHING in my bag when I checked out and paid I got a response that said SORRY NOT AVAILABLE! Since when do you pick a size that's available and put it in your bag is it all of a sudden UNAVAILABLE? That's like going to the store putting things in your cart and someone coming by and grabbing it out and running to pay before you are done? I am highly dissappointed and mad that this has happened. In the future after I use my gift card I will no longer be a Maurices shopped and I am going to make sure my friends and family know and go elsewhere. Such a shame!
My first experiences with the store in McMinnville, OR were great when Andrea worked there! I work retail so I know all about customer service and how important it is to be a "yes we can help you" business when someone is doing a return. I didn't catch the name of the girl behind the register today unfortunately otherwise I would include it. I brought in a shirt that was really cute that I wore one time. I was not satisfied with the fit and wanted to exchange it for a bigger size. The store was out of stock. I haven't heard great things about special orders from this store so I declined the offer of having the size shipped. I just wanted to return it. She offered to have it put back on the card or an in store credit. As I went to my wallet to get the card I realized I'd forgotten it, embarrassed I let her know and she said she could do in store credit or I could take the shirt back. Now the only reason this is an issue is because it creates an inconvenience for me to have to leave and come back. This store has done cash returns before when it was on a card without an issue. It is more convenient for customers instead of making them return with the card, shirt and receipt. In store credits are easy to lose if you aren't using them that day. I shopped that store pretty often and have had issues with quality of clothing but this is the first time I've had issue with a clerk. I won't be returning to Maurice's in any location and have written a letter to corporate. I don't advise anyone to shop here unless you enjoy low quality clothing, being inconvenienced, and hassled unnecessarily. Shop somewhere else where your business is appreciated.
First time trying to order and "deals" are all messed up! Do not shop here! C customer service is horrible!
A friend at work told me about Maurices, so I checked it out and ended up placing about three rather large orders from their online store. Everything had been great... until recently. I went to place another large order (11 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 necklaces). My order went through, I received confirmation and then I received a notification that my order had been shipped, however, all 11 shirts were canceled with no explanation. I also noticed that the duties (I live in Canada) increased somehow from the $41.00 I had agreed to pay on the 11 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans and 2 necklaces to $67.00 for only the 2 pairs of jeans and 2 necklaces that I was to end up receiving! I called customer service who attempted to tell me that the increase was due to the conversion from US to CDN money... um, no... $41.00 US is about $51.00 CDN. I spoke with a different customer service agent who escalated the matter, but also advised me over the phone that she didn't know why those shirts were canceled as some were in fact, still in stock. I also went online again to see if the shirts were still available... they were. Fast forward a few days and I was notified that I would receive a credit for the duties, great I'll take it. So, I decided to give Maurices another shot... I attempted to place another large order: 13 shirts. The order went through okay and I thought I was in the clear this time... until 15 minutes later I received an e-mail telling me that my order had been canceled - the entire order. I spoke with another customer service representative who said all 13 shirts were out of stock... then why the heck are they appearing online and why the heck am I entering my credit card information, and receiving confirmation when the items are not even in stock!?!?! I'll go elsewhere now... WAAAAAY too much hassle.

I had a Maurices card for years. I lost my job and couldn't pay the balance, so a collection agency, per Commenity Bank, started calling threatening and harassing me to pay or they would take me to court. I had to borrow money from a friend to pay the balance. I received a letter from the collection agency stating I was PAID IN FULL. I am STILL getting calls, from different collection companies saying I have NOT paid Maurices, and this has been going on for 3-1/2 YEARS! I fax them PROOF of payment (letter from collection agency, proof that it was taken out if my checking account and paid to that collection agency, and copies of emails to and from that collection agency when the calls and harassment continued stating that my account IS paid in full). Then the calls stop, FOR A WHILE, but then they start up again! I don't know what else to do! This company has made my life miserable, and I will NEVER step foot in their store again, and I will continue to tell everyone I know how I have been treated and to not shop there and NEVER get one of their credit cards!

The sent my purchase In two shipments to the wrong address. I caught the first one two days before delivery and called them. I spent over an hour on hold and was told to contact the carrier to have it rerouted and she hung up on me. I called the following day for assistance waited on hold for 45-60 minutes four separate times and couldn't get through. Called back on the day it said it was delivered to me. I was on hold for 3 1/2 hours. At the same time I was waiting on their online chat which took 51 minutes to get thru and I finally hung up. That person told me to wait 10 days from the date my package was delivered to the wrong address and they would refund my money and then I could repurchase the items. I asked about canceling the second shipment because it hadn't left their warehouse yet. I wanted to have it sent to the correct address. He told me they couldn't do it. I'd have to call. UPS. Now it's been 10 days since it was delivered to the wrong address. I contacted them through online chat and it took 53 minutes to get a rep. Requested a refund since it had been 10 since my package was delivered and again they tell me to reach out to the carrier to have it rerouted. I told them I want a refund and she told me the system won't allow it. So I am out $150 and no clothes. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and she said she'd forward my concerns to the next available Supervisor and I'll be contacted at their earliest convenience. I asked if it would be through this chat and was told yes. Then 15 minutes later she asked I needed anything else to end the chat. I demanded a supervisor again and got the same response as earlier. After an additional 30 minutes on hold for a Supervisor I finally was promised a refund. It better be a full refund.
