I always know when I go to Mayo I am getting the best most advanced care possible. The doctors have coordinated my care over multiple issues and show true compassion and caring. I will never go anywhere else,
I don't even know what to say. We're not made of money. We can't afford to see dozens of doctors in multiple countries and run every test imaginable. They made a series of mistakes that led to the death of three great men in my life that could have easily been avoided. This place is dishonest, disorganized, greedy, and cold. I should have trusted my intuition. It was screaming at me to leave and go somewhere else. "But it's Mayo Clinic!". Everyone "knows" how great Mayo Clinic is. Maybe I should have mortgaged the house and traveled for their care. Now I'll never know. These last 3 years have been hell. I feel absolutely destroyed. I feel like my soul has been ripped from my chest. I wonder if these doctors take the Hippocratic oath as a joke, just so they know the best way to $#*! all over a person's life at the weakest point of his life. This place is an absolute disgrace. DO NOT COME HERE.
I have an income of $1700 a month and I was paying them $100 a month. They turned me over to a collection agency because they wanted more. WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC!

Mayo clinic site is the example of why internet is simple great. The amount of real information for any health problem you can get from this site is simple amazing. Should be a must to read before paying a visit to the Doc.
MayoClinic is the best website for those who want to seek information relating to health and diseases. The site also provides health tips for different individuals. Real medical practitioners and researchers comprises the backbone of the website which is absolutely reliable.
I've always used Mayo Clinic as a reliable source of information for my assignments. They reference well and the website UI is user friendly and neat.
Diagnosed Afib two failed ablations at Mayo Jacksonville put you on antiarrythmia medications and just continue your treatment tried to line me up for third ablation. In the mean time I go to Jupiter Florida for third ablation to correct the first two failed ablations at Mayo. Well the third ablation fails I go into supraventricular tachycardia heart rate 150-175 hours for days end up in hospital for nine days 7/29/21 - 8/6/21. Diagnosed sick sinus syndrome and pacemaker implant. Now living on rate and rhythm control medications tachycardia daily but deal with this disease. Failed medical care at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville surgery mill. Beware of medical care at Mayo.
They only talk to me twice and did a MRI had he give me pills that did not even help went back down there and talk to someone else and she gave me something else that made me take on water I stop taking them and told them and never heard anything more from them
No help at all just a big wast of time drive 300 miles and spend 25 minutes with a doctor this place is bull crap
The Testosterone Enanthate should be injected at least Every 4 Days at 200-500 mg. To Treat low T Symptoms. Hormone compounds are Easily Temperature Damaged. Low Testosterone Levels can Not Treat Low Testosterone Symptoms.
Mayoclinic never showed you This.
A Doctor I have never met changed my Cancer Testing Care Plan the evening before the test was to take place. I asked him why on the phone... His answer..."because this test is faster". I know a thing or two about Cancer Testing after going through it a few times. Also, I understand radio-active isotopes... I dealt with disposal for 20+ years. There was no way possible that the new latest greats G68 test would yield adequate imagining. However, this great World Renowned MAYO CLINIC DOCTOR still knew better.
I underwent CT and CT with Contrast and MR and MR with Contrast twice prior which did not yield adequate results. Only one imagining test did, but NOPE... MAYO CLINIC EGOTISTICAL DOCTORS know best. INSURANCE FRAUD? Finally, it is incumbent on meeting the "NEEDS OF THE PATIENT" which is MAYO's Claim to Fame. The patient "SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE A SAY IN THEIR HEALTH CARE PLAN"... Just not at MAYO NUREMBERG CLINIC, Rochester, MN.

I was excited about going to Mayo Clinic because of their reputation, but found them to operate like a shady mechanic. I have been to many specialists over the years for my genetic condition but none that string you along like Mayo does. All other surgeons I have ever seen either say the will or won't operate. NOT MAYO. They took it upon themselves to schedule 8 more appointments for me without my permission and I am feeling like they will keep doing that without ever treating the issue I came in for originally. Then when you get your bill expecting one copay you see that they charge an extra office visit for every doctor that assisted the doctor you came to see. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A THING. VERY FRUSTRATING AND DISAPPOINTING!
They won't see me- I told her it was life and death. She said "I don't know what to tell you, see a local doctor". And this is after I told her I've seen 5, including specialists. When you submit and get denied for lack of availability, they don't let you request again for 6 months. My question was "so people who are very sick request appointments, get denied, and have to suffer for another 6 months?" Her response? "Yeah, basically"
I am incredibly unimpressed at how little they care for the health of people reaching out who can't live their lives because of health problems.
No one there cares about anything except the money they get from filling the 12 week schedule. No waitlist, no help, no compassion, no actual healing for those who may actually be dying.
Literally: screw this place. I don't care if they have the best doctors, they are awful to potential patients. The ones scheduled and paying….that's another story. Healthcare is supposed to be there to fix the ill. They are not.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t even try. They are highly rated, but I can guarantee they don’t care about you; it’s not your money

I recently visited the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale for the diagnosis of Gastrointestinal issues. I was coming there from another state because Mayo was highly recommended for diagnostics. After undergoing tests for three days, I went home waiting for a phone call from the doctor to explain my results and to make a recommendation. After three weeks I still had not heard a peep. I called four times without getting a medical professional, let alone my doctor, on the phone. Finally, desperate for answers I had my lawyer fax a strongly worded letter explaining the situation and requesting a response. I got a call back within am hour. However, the doctor diagnosed me with a disorder that had been ruled out months before. I had made the doctor aware of this previously and tried to explain it to him again but he refused to listen and would not back down from his position. I continue to suffer, without a diagnosis. I could not be more disapointed with my experience at Mayo Clinic. I was seen by Kevin C. Ruff, M. D..
Completely overrated hospital. Maybe the one in Minnesota is better but not here. My 4 year experience ended when my specialist's nurse filed a complaint against me while I was in pain trying to get the help over the phone that I was told by my doctor that I could get, but her nurse disagreed. She belittled me and chided me and I did not like that. How rude. My doctor did not seem to care and sided with her nurse most likely because they are hard to find and that hospital system let go 700 staff members over covid. That is my opinion but I was not going to be bullied. They do not answer their portal questions and they set me up for a surgery that the surgeon said I did not need... while I was on the gurney. Clearly, this hospital is not organized and thinks too highly of itself as it slides by barely keeping things together as it continues to focus on growth and revenue and not patient care. Patient experience is clearly powerless and is there distract you. Feels like a divorce but now I am U of F strong!
We are fighting the hospital through the courts system -they are providing my father witb minimal care and even refusing specific therapies based to political reasons. These people are disgusting.

Had back surgery at Mayo two years ago. The pain from the surgery was extremely intense, and the post surgery hospital care was horrible. I ended up with significant inflamation in my brain and brain damage as a result of my back surgery. Brain damage that a Neuro at Mayo said was NOT caused by the trama of the surgery even though Mayo has a research paper stating that brain damage can occure as result of the trama from surgery. Mayo is GREAT at testing, but I would avoid having any proceedure there or getting advice on next steps after the testing.
This is not the place to work. They fire their employees for the dumbest things. I worked with administration and they don't care about anyone but the surgeons.
I was on my tourist trip. I feel some allergic problem on my skin. My friend recommends Mayo Clinic. The staff is very cooperative. I have got excellent treatment. I strongly recommend them.

My spouse has been struggling from a progressive illness for 2 yrs. We really need a team of medical professionals to try to figure out what is going on, like what Mayo Clinic claims to do. 3 times we were denied. Not once were we given a reason and on 2 of the denials, we had to call them to find out because they couldn't be bothered to call us. We were told they needed records they already had. We were told 12 pages of documentation was just too much work to read through and they preferred things to be condensed to 2, and they were caught straight up lying about having a record of a doctor-to-doctor meeting. They also claimed to have sent us a denial letter on Dec 14th from their spine center, in response to a referral to the rheumatology department that had not been sent until the 15th. All I can really conclude from all of this is that Mayo doesn't actually want tough cases, they want easy ones so they can inflate their numbers of successes. That, or they simply don't want to treat trans people. Either way, they have no business working with vulnerable populations.
Tip for consumers:
Save yourself some stress, especially if you're ill, skip Mayo Clinic. They

The only people who are allowed to receive care from this communist regime are those who bow to the COVID whores by wearing the pedophile sex-trafficking virtue-signaling mask. PROOF POSITIVE this Scam-demic was NEVER about public health! I'll pray for the conversion of their Satan-possessed souls!
This review is for Mayo Clinic Rice Lake, WI
I have a cyst on my back that has gotten infected. I made an appointment in early August to have it removed by Dr T Bergseth. Within 30 minutes of the appointment, while I was driving to Rice Lake from Spooner, a nurse called to say that the Dr could not make the appointment. I was mad but I rescheduled for 8/22, the next time the Dr was in Rice Lake. I drove again to Rice Lake and within 40 minutes of the appointment a nurse called again to say the Dr was unavailable. I asked to speak with an administrator. I was handed off to a nurse named Brianna who was not an administrator. Immediately she tried to talk over me and tell me that sometimes Dr's are called to emergencies. The conversation started to get heated as I realized nothing was going to me done about my issue. She exhibited a bad attitude throughout. I am still looking for someone who can actually make an informed decision about what to do for wasting so much of my time. I have made repeated requests for an administrator to call me.
Global public health and human rights issue. This is also used on our children. If your child has had ECT there are no time constraints to file suit. Here is a link for family members of loved ones that have had the procedure called ECT/electroshock. It will tell you of tests and resources available along with five other videos for information. Learn about the lawsuits taking place around damages both in the US and now in England. We hope once you have the information that you will share how you can, we can bring additional types of suits to benefit your loved ones moving forward. I was treated by Amir Abdallah, M.B.Ch. B. Neurology and Dr Marie Grill, M. D. Neurologist on 5/12/2020 for a second opinion of post varicella zoster meningitis complications. Amir Abdallah, M.B.Ch. B. listened very carefully and asked really good questions while taking my very lengthy and difficult H&P. He then went out presented my case to Dr Grill. They are the most amazing team I've ever had the privilege to be treated by!
I also had a follow up appointment on 05/18/2020 with Dr Grill, during her hospital duty in order to see me before I left town since I had traveled from out of state.
I was very frustrated with my medical team at home and was pretty apprehensive about presenting all my symptoms in fear that I wouldn't be listen to. Exact opposite! Amir Abdallah, M.B.Ch. B. and Dr Grill really showed care and concern for me as a patient and as a human who had been let down by hometown providers.
I had more questions answered, more tests ran, more exams done, more referrals to other physicians to join my care team in order to address all if my health issues, in the week that I was in PHX/Scottsdale than I had done in the 11 months I have been being treated at home! Once I leave here in a couple more days, there will be a plan in place to start me on a path to treat my symptoms!
I highly recommend this Neuro team to anyone that is in need of that type care!

mayoclinic.com is a great website for information from REAL doctors (most of which are or were on staff at mayo).
Dependable information for regular people written (mostly) in regular English. The symptom checker is quite good, but like the previous reviewer, needs to be taken as suggestion and not fact! The symptom checker has you focus in on a single area of the body and then select potential symptoms. A list of possible conditions are presented for further consideration. Not guaranteed -- but a good place to start for questions.
The information listed for known condition names is great. I was pointed to this website from a pulmonologist who didn't want me out searching crappy websites on my own! He knew I wanted information and wanted to be sure I was looking into medical facts and not junk-info posted by any joker with a computer. There is a lot of scary false info on the web and no-one wants or needs to be oncered by false info. The information on coniditions/diseases is factual, listed in "chapters" so you can to directly to where you need, and often does refer to you see a doctor!
The symptom checker gets a B+, the condition/disease info gets an A.
I was referred to Endocrinology for abnormal thyroid levels. At my first visit, Dr. Charles Bingham stated that he hadn't brought his crystal ball to work that day and I was a complicated case. He then followed up with a thyroid biopsy and on my return visit said that it was benign for malignancy and that he would keep an eye on it and to follow up in 6 months. I had felt like crap for 6 months already and stated that I didn't think I could keep on feeling this unwell. I reached out to another endocrinologist at Oakleaf. Dr. Adkins instantly diagnosed me with a toxic thyroid and scheduled surgery. Within 24 hours of surgery, all my symptoms had subsided. I called "office of patience experience" and expressed my concerns. I asked where it stated that Dr. Bingham had recommended surgery. Shannon replied that it was under the assessment/plan section of my online Mayo portal. I have attached the plan section of my portal. The first DOES NOT state anything about a thyroidectomy. Miraculously, the second documentation has an ADDED section to it. So this my friends is how Mayo works! They cover their own butts and add notes to patients medical notes to cover their behinds. I'm not through until I get some resolve! Kim Loewenhagen
I haven't been but I'm a fan of their symptom tool on their Website. It's very informative and helpful
