MDBM (Maison De Beauté Marseille)

The item ordered was not as pictured on the website. When I inquired about it, they told me to take pictures and in general stalled around. Their return instructions were complex. I was supposed to pay the postage and provide them with tracking numbers, etc.
Very poor customer service.

Now that I've received my bag I've had a lot to digest. I doubt the bag is real cow leather, as the site claims. That said, it does seem to be well constructed. None of the tell-tale signs of a cheap bag are present; no loose threads, good, heavy material, excellent design and perfect for my needs. The bag is a perfect replica of the picture on the site. That said, it really took the joy out of my purchase to find that I did not purchase the item as described. Every aspect of that website leads you to believe the bags are hand made of the best quality leather. This was definitely part of my decision to buy. The bag would absolutely be worthy of the $129 price tag if it was displayed in department store, so that is a little consolation. I've ultimately decided to keep my bag but I will never purchase from them again and I wouldn't recommend them.The first pic is the stock photo. The rest are actual photos of my bag. Any distortion is due to the fact that I have it LOADED with stuff!

Ordered 3/17, said I would receive in 5-7 days it had been 4 weeks! The worst part is that it takes 3 or more days to get a response when I email them and all they say is " sorry, give it a few more day"

I saw a leather wallet online by this company and thought it would be nice to have. I paid $70.95 for it and I kept getting all these text messages that it was being shipped out and in these different destinations. Finally I got to email asking me how I like the wallet but I never received it. I contacted the company and they said that since it shows that it was delivered there is nothing they can do about it. I don't know about you but I don't have $70.95 to throw away so I was thoroughly disgusted is what I get from ordering from these foreign websites I'm going to stick to Amazon from now on. Needless to say they don't have to worry about me ever ordering anything from them again.

The quality of the bag was cheap at best. The free pouch looked like it came from the dollar store. I did get my refund back but….
I had to work at it first to find an address then emails, talking to people who said they couldn't give me an address that a "return specialist" would call! Back and forth and I wish I had logged in when I started and when I got an answer. So you have been warned! Sorry I didn't read these reviews first would not have ordered.

The only leather were 2 small hangtags in a string.

The VINYL purse was well constructed out of vinyl... had it been leather it would have been great...

I hate being played and lied to. This was blatant deceit in advertising. RETURNING!

I purchased the Cholet shoulder bag, which is stated to be napa leather. It took weeks to arrive, and came crammed into a small box.

The 'leather' was much thinner than anticipated, smelled funny, and felt like plastic. I immediately went through the return process and paid $18 (!) to return it. It took weeks to get my refund, and then only after I called to find out what was going on.

For the same price I purchased a gorgeous bag on sale from the Dooney & Bourke website. The leather is thick and luxurious and smells heavenly.

I do not recommend this product nor the company.

I have purchased several bags from this company and have been very satisfied with all except one. The last purse that I ordered was just too small for my needs so I returned it. I was disappointed to have to pay $15 for return shipping and insurance.

Although these bags are advertised as leather - they leave out the "key" word - fake! These bags are not leather - doesn't even smell like leather - as someone who buys higher priced Always leather bags I feel stupid to have fallen for this beside the fact that the bag took 6 weeks to get to me! Have requested a refund for 2 bag purchased in April for which the company cannot/will not provide an arrival date. While they responded to original emails they have now stopped after requesting a refund.

Ordered a bag weeks ago. I tried calling but got an answering machine. Promised to call me back so I left a message. Called daily for a week with no response.

Their order tracker said the bag was en route but FEDEX said the order was pending meaning it hadn't been picked up from MDBM yet.

Online shopping was very easy. Payment and delivery were done in a timely fashion. The design of the bag was fantastic, but the leather is stiff as a board and there are no dividers or compartments in this bag. It is a big stiff bucket and everything you put in it goes right to the bottom and everything ends up piled on top of each other. This beautiful bag would benefit from a divider and a zipper compartment. Love the looks but not the usefulness or the softness of the leather. However I love, love, love the wallet that came with Colet. The leather is soft and supple and it has zipper compartments on the inside and out side. Very nice.

I recently bought a purse from this website. Couple days later, I saw exactly same purse sold on Chinese web for much cheaper price. I wondered if the purse would be same. A month later, I got my purse, it is same with the purse on Chinese web. The package was sent from China, packaging is bad. Purse is not worth the price I paid for. The material is not as described as cow leather. I would not mind if the price is cheaper like the Chinese web. I do mind it if they charge the high price and the quality doesn't match. Do not shop from this web, you can get same stuff from Chinese shopping website for much cheaper price.

What a joke, this bag is not leather. It is a nice looking bag, but since it is advertised as leather, and costs as much as leather, I would expect it to be leather... Go to TJ Maxx and buy yourself a faux leather bag for 35 bucks.

Considering the pandemic's effect on shipping it was fine

Terrible customer service. Bought a purse and the color was not what I wanted. The leather was very stiff, the hardware looked tarnished and the strap was so crimped it will never straighten out. Asked to return it and was told they will review my request for return. Didn't hear from them so I called and was told they didn't see any processing request. I asked what if I just sent it to their Olean, NY facility and was told there would be no one there to receive it! Ridiculous. I don't normally spend $125. For a small purse but I splurged. I tried to put this review on their website but couldn't for some reason. Very disappointed

Love my blue bag. You can wear it with casual or dress clothes. It's small, but holds everything that I need.
Didn't take long for it to come.

I was a little confused by the tracking info, but I contacted the seller, who responded quickly and also followed through to make sure I got the merchandise.

These bags are not handmade. The quality is extremely poor and the smell of the faux leather is nauseating. I am having issues returning the product. You are unable to speak to anyone at the company.

I saw the bad from MDBM in my fb feed. Loved the color so I ordered. First it was a long wait finally arrived and the holes aren't big enough to attach the handle. Very disappointing
