I was on top of the world when I joined that app everyone was cool then new people joined and stole pics off ig then used them as fake accts then lie then sticking up for your self I got cyber stalk cyber bullied I mixed with bad people that have changed alot of it is trash what they talk about and don't get me started with the guys showing them selfs I gave this app 1 star breaks my heart to see good people turn bad and rumors and people say your gov name if you make em mad that is not ok some people can't take a joke if a disabled person says anything we get cyber bullied cause they want something on you and the use it against u then post it on Instagram that's not right they lie kids get on this sight n think oo drugs or she nice let's go bug her when your not looking for anything but friends this app blows nut sacks btw 9 months I left because it got to be too much bullying n lying.

I'm so glad I downloaded Meetme 4.5 years ago because I met the most amazing guy with this app. Now we've been together for 4 years and wouldn't have met without the app.

This site is the biggest joke EVER! The company has such a bad reputation and has a very low number of actual, real people that it fills it's voids with scammer bots and fake profiles, just to make it look like there is a large pool of potential, dateable people. No one is real and if you can find a live one, that person is only looking for one thing or maybe two, sex and/or money. No one wants a classy, respectable woman that has morals and values. Every time I mention that I am a Christian, I get blocked or ridiculed. Humanity is so judgmental these days. And the company has no care in the world that their site is illegal and full of scammers because they are the ones filling your inbox with them! I report dozens of scammers per day and continue to see the same pictures of the same guys. Fakes using models photos. I don't think the company takes reports serious! They just don't give a $#!%! I have a screenshot, which apparently is too big to upload here which is BS but, they don't want you to prove anything with actual proof. The screenshot is of three profiles, using the same guy, with three different names, three different ages and three different locations. WTF? So, here is a fair warning... Do not, I say, DO NOT pay for a subscription for MeetMe. It's a waste of your hard earned money.

When I was using it, it logged me out and when I tried to log back in I used the correct email and password and it said INCORRECT and when I wanted a recovery code to my email it nevered showed up! And all these fake girls start messaging you

Do not download this app if you are looking for a serious relationship where you actually meet a real person in flesh and bone. The women on this app are just there for diamonds/gifts, cashing out, and attention. The rest just want you to go to their social media and eventually to sub to their Onlyfans because they make more from there. The dating portion is full of fake profiles, so I don't even bother with. Their live portion are full of women who love taking a simps money, not to mention the amount of diamond trading that goes on. The women and men are low quality out of work extroverted personalities and downright narcissists that rely on their viewers desperation to gift them so they can go about their miserable existence not getting a real job. I have seen this app literally ruin people's lives because they build up a financial dependency on it then have it all taken away from them without notice. If you think you can get a quality relationship from MM you are either a streamer you meet as another streamer, which is rare, or delusional. The amount of toxic people and greed of MM will make you question humanity and whether we are worthy of walking in the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior. I've had to make several accounts because they kept getting suspended. The first one I told someone to kill themselves in the comment section because they made a sick joke about school shootings. I get suspended. I make a new account where I don't use my name and have a Vaporwave account to send good vibes and art, I notice the profile that made the post is still active. My account gets suspended because the devs think I'm a bot (understandable) The next account was supposed to be a legit account but eventually My account gets suspended again and erased. I have no idea what caused it to happen. After a while I got my last account. It lasted the longest (about a year and a half). I made a post saying

"You might hate white people. You might believe in abortions. You might hate muslims because of recent events. You call me a racist white male. You may believe that hate speech promotes violence. I may not agree with you on most of your beliefs but, ill always support your right to say it."

My account got suspended for me just making an honest viewpoint on our nations amendments. This app is not even classified as a social media app to me.

I've used it and it is "ok". Sure it is not as reputable and well established as the big names like Mingle2day, some Meetic Sites, and so on. But it is not as bad as most reviewers try to tell you!

Cons:
1- Admins censor almost everything and ban people for no reason.

2- I would estimate 86% of the profiles are fake. You'll come across a lot of people using the same pictures with a different name or location. In fact if you happen to post pictures of yourself don't be surprised if you find someone else using yours photos to Catfish people.

3- Lots of scammers and beggars. So many posts are sob stories of single mums being kicked out of their homes begging for £60 to buy a few bits and pieces.

4- A lot of bullying. So many miserable pathetic people who hate themselves and are therefore sitting at home behind their keyboards spewing hate. Someone might post something like I passed my exams, for example. And the sad f***ers will say go kill yourself or nobody cares. They're incapable of just being civil normal people. Now this happens all over the Internet but on meetme it is on another level I'd say 7 out 10 comments is of this nature.

5- People craving attention so badly that they live stream and tell fake stories of abuse or pretend to be vets suffering from ptsd.

6- Myyearbook or meetme is listed in the playstore as an app to help you connect with people nearby who share similar interests as you and to make friends, yet for some reason so many guys seem to think it's a dating site. This can be annoying if like me you were hoping to make new friends to do fun activities or go to concerts with only to find that majority of the guys and girls are looking for love.

Pros:
1- none.

First and foremost, if you have issues (which you will have many) then the support feature isn't the place to go for advice as they do not get back to you regardless of the problems.
The fullsite version which has just been 'updated' is practically unusable. It's based on the app layout which just does not work for the website version.
You can't see who has liked your status updates, you can't post photos in the comment section, the credits feature which allows users to purchase coins for upgraded features has disappeared (even though members still have paid coins from the previous version) and navigation in general is very poor.
The app is slightly better, by better I mean it freezes and logs you out every 10 minutes or so... But for the people using this app/website to find love/friendship, well be careful, firstly the amount of fake profiles is amazing and further, FB profiles have been stolen and uploaded to increase userbase, an issue which has been raised many times to no avail.
I had to click on a rating as it wouldn't allow me to give it a generous no score.

Seriously so many of the females you see on this app are promoting their own Snapchat and prostitution business. After adding their free Snapchats and seeing their previews it even looks like it's just a small ring of individuals using a few different girls videos so they can scam people. There's just so much scamming going on through this app.

Like other people said it used to be much better especially when it was my yearbook. There were much less fakes and it was easier to finds the kind of people you were looking for. There were more activities on the site. Now there is just posting status feeds and money that they make with the girls that stream and have desperate guys throwing cash gifts at them.

Most of the men who contacted me were just looking for sex. So sad that so many men nowadays apparently think that women who join websites like this are cheap and easy. I joined this site to get the word out about the massage establishment I was working at, as it was a new establishment, after a co-worker told me she used the site to build a client base at the previous establishment she worked at. The only kind of posts I ever made on the site were about that I'm a massage therapist trying to build a client base. I always made my posts available to both men AND women, and always said in my posts that I do NOTHING of a sexual nature as part of my services; on two occasions, my posts were actually removed! Really? Even though it said right there in my post that I don't do anything sexual. Just because someone practices massage, does NOT mean they're a prostitute! It's truly sad how many people think that massage = prostitution in this day and age. I did have at least 5 people from the website (they all ended up being men) come in for a massage, and thankfully, they were decent people who never once asked me if I'd be willing to do more than just a massage. But the far majority of people who responded to my posts (mostly men, by a long shot) were wanting more than just a legit, professional massage, and it disgusted me! If there was an upside to being on this site, other than managing to get a few decent clients, it's that some men told me I'm the classiest lady they've ever seen on the site. I deleted my account a few months back, and I will never make an account with MeetMe again, not with all the men on there who are just looking for casual, meaningless sex. I am NOT that kind of person at all!

I think it could be improved in so many ways but they continue to let bots on and it pretty much ruined the whole application
