I've helped me to go on several girls and I'd rank it as one of the best dating sites I have used together with Mingle2day. Don't understand what everyone's problem is. Maybe online dating is juts not for you.
Dude dont waste your time, energy OR money on this app. Its literally the worst one out there. And ive tried a bunch. And now its making it impossible to leave review

MeetMe is like mafia: it's impossible to cancel. Don't get engaged with these fraudsters, they are clunky and useless. They just want to drain your bank account. Watch out for red flags before you join and pay. Whoever is behind MeetMe doesn't care if you like this service or not (no one likes it anyway). The only thing they want on MeetMe is to get your bank details, that's enough for them. They will automatically subscribe you for several other dating sites that are under their umbrella and they will never let you cancel. This is a very blatant scam on the level I haven't seen before!
I've been using the MeetMe app for a while now, and I have to say, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. First and foremost, the behavior of many users on this platform is downright appalling. The app seems to attract a large number of individuals who have no interest in genuine connections or respectful interactions. Instead, the atmosphere is often toxic, filled with inappropriate messages, unsolicited explicit content, and a general lack of basic decency. It's disheartening to see such behavior go unchecked, making the app feel unsafe and unwelcoming.
In addition to the unpleasant user base, the app itself is incredibly glitchy. Constant crashes, freezing, and bugs make it nearly impossible to use for any extended period. Notifications often don't work, messages fail to send or receive, and the app's overall performance is sluggish at best. For an app that's supposed to facilitate social connections, it's ironic that it struggles to even maintain basic functionality.
In summary, MeetMe is a disappointment both in terms of user experience and app performance. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and reliable platform to meet new people. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
Please run! Do not use this so many people just in it for diamonds! People are so rude and bullies behind a screen this site needs to be removed!
MeetMe women are not sincere. They fib about everything, especially their location. They speak in short burst and prefer to remain vague about anything personal. I had better luck on EasyFling4You
I had several face to face meetings and all the women were sweet and genuine. I fell in love with one of them.
As for MeetMe, something is definitely wrong with their women. I suspect that they have some kind of financial motivation to use this site. I was asked for money directly only couple of times. But my gut feeling (and common sense too) is telling me that they are paid by the site for communication with the men and for keeping them hooked. Otherwise I don't understand why they all fall in love with but neither of them wants to meet me in real life.
This app and website are ridiculous. The only real human profiles here are way below my standards and definitely below yours too... Trust me on that. It's catfish Central. The other 80% of the profiles are fake and I get about 20 messages a day from fake women and the makers of this stupid site have to know that's going on they must get money from it. Seriously do yourself a favor and don't make a profile unless you like 400 lb 60-year-old women and bots
These jokers have double standards all over the place. If you're not being endorsed they will hit you with false "community standard violations", take the diamonds you've earned, and delete your account.
Facebook is real, has the best entry, and they don't put up stupid verification entry, that does not work. I have found, that meets, will never be like or as good as Facebook. Facebook is fun. And been on there for many years. You can't do that with melted. We use to love Meetme, but now they have become a hassle to even stay on there, or get back in,, what a joke.
I waited at Starbucks for a half an hour for a woman that calls herself eva. Melody Hannah. On MeetMe. She never showed and used the gift card for whatever she wanted and never showed. It was a ten dollar gift card scammer that's still trying to talk to me as of right now while I'm waiting at Starbucks coffee shop on east riverside in loves park Illinois.
Tip for consumers:
Scammers are everywhere people acting like stars and like woman just to get ten dollars keep your awareness up
All the complaints are valid! I agree with all the negative reviews below. You have maybe 1% chance of meeting a real girl no matter how hard you try. Basically it's a money making machine raking in huge profits with the help of thousands of fake profiles and no real service. Don't waste your time and money on MeetMe The "best" thing that can happen on MeetMe is meeting a prostitute who will actually show up, but every time it's a hard sell and a game of chance. On top of that Meetme has catastrophic layout and support. Just don't engage with them – you will avoid lots of troubles.
All my $ hard earned. When u ban pages I've gifted. Keep my $. Wrong. If u ban a page before cash out. U don't get to keep both parties money. I've spent allot of money and witness this countless times. Do right, give me at least half my stuff back. Dirty pool
Tip for consumers:
You have a great site… but low key you stealing.. It’s bait add switch.. how much money are you actually keeping??
Products used:
It’s web site Tagged.com .. very very addictive
Most of the profiles are totally untrue or made up! Even when you ask the person they don't even know what their profile says! Most are from Ghana and present a white girl's photo as theirs! Many profiles are the same girl and some other girls are using naked photos of another woman who doesn't even look like them! Many show nude photos to entice you to subscribe to sex sites!
Tip for consumers:
Many people asking for gift cards! Or scammers
I've helped me to go on several girls and I'd rank it as one of the best dating sites I have used together with Mingle2day. Don't understand what everyone's problem is. Maybe online dating is juts not for you.
I've met up with about 6 guys on the site and every one of them has had some sort of issue, whether a personality disorder or they're just odd socially. One guy claimed to be 25, but I actually found out later he was almost 40 and was just lying to get younger women. Nope, stay far away from here. Too many perverts.
This site often feels like it has multiple personalities... constantly changing stuff. Moderators delete negative comments that have "MeetMe" in them... pretty fascist, at the very least it says they dont take their customers concerns or complaints serious. Id be seriously surprised if this company is still around in 5 years.
Seems like a lot of sites are full of spam these days. Most websites work for me although meet.com has so much spam pop up running slow. It messes my computer up and says this site is a threat. That stinks cause I was really looking forward to using it.
I easily found a travel mate and lover on this site. There are plenty of real members, gorgeous ladies. After my positive experience on it, I trust this site completely.
It was easy and safe to set a date through them, though the woman I met turned out to be not so pretty as she her pictures. But other than that, everything went fine.
I was on the site 3 maybe 4 weeks. No matter what I posted I was being flagged inappropriate... the "chat" was flooded with men sending out their D*ck pics. I contacted customer service for days before they finally emailed me back saying my account was permanently closed for not agreeing to terms. *** which is insane *** the feed was people wanting to GET HIGH all time or men begging for someone to come hang out. Do you think they got their accounts closed? Pretty P*seed off!
There is a scam all around, but this is to be expected from such services. I am not saying that the site/service is bad. Well done guys for making it, because it really helps someone. But users who want to remain in the shadow of anonymity will deceive other more honest users. I say this to the fact that on a dating site you can stumble upon not very pleasant things. You waste time and money on people who don't really exist or pretend to be different. It is unpleasant. But there is also a particle of those who are themselves. And it's nice.
Looks like a decent dating website. I haven't met anyone yet but I am still in the testing stage. For now I'd rank it as 'above average' to 'good'. Not as many members as on Mingle2day or Match but sure worth a try.
I meet a lot of people in person using this app, therefore i give it a good rating, although there are a lot of fakes but you find that everywhere. It's nowhere close to being as bad as Zoosk that's for sure.
It's filled with too many narcissistic behavior types of drug addicts who think that their opinions on life really matter to the real world. It's full of delusional losers who think they are superstars on live that constantly beg for gifts.
I thought I would never find the right one. I didn't go on this site for a quick marriage or lay as some would say about this site. O had actually given up on love until that very special person messaged me and actually wasn't interested in nude pics like most guys on this site! He is very respectful and an amazing husband and father to our kids. We have now been together for two years and could not be more in love thanks to meet me!
Had some really good dates on MeetMe down the years, even met my last BF on it but must admit I am starting to use some of the cooler new sites now (wejustfit.com is great) and relying less on MeetMe as the only tool in my online dating box. I like MeetMe so wont be leaving anytime soon but there are other good options out there if you keep checking review sites like this. Gemma (32) Norwich, UK
Like so many other "social" networks: left leaning, liberal fueled, politically propagated. A cesspool of anonymous, hate filled widgets. I've been banned censored, copy written, simulated, stereotyped, warned, etc... Was humorous initially, now it's just pathetic. I've written multiple complaints to many agencies.
Meet new people and play fun games!
