The site has gotten real bad. Now I just use it to watch my friends in their Lives. But whatever they just did to the site, absolutely no warning, they erased all of my chats so now I have no contact with my friends. Thanks for nothing.

Tried to login today and my email was changed. Sorted that out and logged in; robot hack named Caithline Smith changed everything on my profile! Can't believe it. First time, and I've had this app for about a year on and off.

Story:
I used this site on and off for about 2 years just out of boredom posted pictures talked to people it was okay till I found out my pictures got stolen. Someone made a fake account using my pictures saying I was bisexual. I had messaged them on another account I made and they denied it they said it was really them but it's clearly my pictures and they kept calling me fake... and every person on there friends list was a girl so it's obviously a desperate dude trying to talk to girls... how pathetic what a stupid site so glad I met NO ONE off there. I'm happily taken by someone i met off POF its way better than meetme it has waaaay less fake profiles. 78% of the female profiles on meetme are fake... including the one of me thats still on there because I cant get meetme to delete it I tried emailing them reporting the profile but nothing... just as I expected. Should be SHUT DOWN.

It's obvious as soon as you sign up to a dating site like MeetMe why its so popular. It's addictive and fun and allows you to get all self indulgent. But after a while if you end up with no dates then you might as well be in an old school internet chat room. I've decided to give it up and go 'old fashioned' again for a while. If I have no luck ill go for something else, ive heard WeJustFit.com is meant to be as good as MeetMe or better so that will be my next port of call. Hopefully I dont need it though and ill be the one singleton in society that doesnt need to date online. I can dream.

I made an account and verified, I then got locked out of my account and now it won't let me in. The site says the account isn't valid and when I try to make a new one it says I cannot at this time. This has been happening for months

This is a terrible scam! First I get an email that my account has suspicious activity, and don't even remember having this account. Then I try to access the account to basically delete it. It requests my phone number to regain password. So I confirm my phone number, so now they have it too. Next it does not allow to change password. I contact helpdesk and they say I don't have an account. So now they have my email address, have my verified phone number, they continue emailing me with notifications about people ready to chat.
And there is an option to change notifications, if I log into my account that does not exist or change password, the form doesn't work.
And I can't imagine what is in that non existing profile, who now have my personal data, etc.

I have used many, many dating sites. I would personally rank Meetme as one of the "ok" or maybe even "good" dating sites among with my favorite sites Mingle2day and Mate1. I have never met anyone on Meetme but the site seems to be legit!

Only spammers, hackers and a lot of drug related posts. Looking to get drugs, hookers (migrated from backdoor.com), Nudity on main feed or your inbox. Live nudity on cam but yet this is ALSO A CHILDREN'S SITE, 14+. Not to mention locking you out of your account so you make another. I guess more accounts = more money? You will do it at least once a week.

At the time I joined this site was called myyearbook my friend signed me up and honestly I didn't expect much. I'm a female and I'd get weird $#*! messages from random guys asking about my bra size and other sexual questions however I recieved a very lovely message from an attractive man. We have been together 4 years and are since engaged. Not too fond of the majority of sleazy men on this site but got very lucky!

Meetme is not to be trusted. They will do everything to get your data so they can sell it. The app will not work unless you use your Facebook or Apple ID if you are on IOS. It will continue to tell you that your password is wrong until you decide to use a different form of signing up

Chatted with someone who had S H for a name, but made me guess that "her" name was Laurie from Troy NY. After many back and forth "she " answered all my questions, told me "she" was like me and looking for the same as me which is a relationship. Sent me pics basically naked and pics at work. "She" would disappear and when I asked about it "she" would basically apologize and act like everything was all good. One of the last times was for 2 days and "she" came back saying hey, couldn't be on here, here is my kik Addy we can chat there...
I asked y don't we exchange numbers, told me "she" had my number already. I found that funny bec I never gave it... it stopped responding. Wasted a week + with a catfish... I closed my account.

MeetMe is always the site that people suggest when you say youre thinking of trying dating online or tell them youre newly single. But for me I had a friend who met (and is now engaged to) a really nice lady on wejustfit.com so I went there first on their recommendation. It's a great site and im still a member but with valentines day and everything I decided to join MeetMe and double my odds. I can see why its popular but im not really finding it any better than WJF so not sure if ill stick around. But nice to try new things and have other options:-)

Well for starter it's Free for the most part. I wouldn't consider it a complete waste. But I do wish the developers would bring back the local discussion boards.

I basically check once a week since the last update.

I gave it one star because there was no zero-star selection. It's being used as a combination of social site and a dating site, where most of the users simply prefer to be Nigerian/Ghanan/West Africans looking for your wallet. Those who prefer to be on there for dating are desperate women with weight issues or personality disorders or men who's social skills rise very little above their ability to expose their genitalia. Two other groups arriving on the scene lately are those looking for a pot/meth/you-name-it connection (using obvious innuendo throughout) or those looking to sell their bodies (using other obvious innuendo throughout). After awhile, earnest members get frustrated enough to simply walk away shaking their collective heads in disbelief.

Ive accumulated over 100K diamonds, was locked out and lost everything, holly, the #1 streamer makes 200K at least per stream, usually all gifted by one person. They delete accounts of those who come
Up in the community and start getting attention and delete the accounts, take the diamonds, go to their fake profiles and send them all to her. There is no way to make the amount she does in one night without the deletion of multiple accounts with a large amount of diamonds. This site is a joke, I get deleted for no reason, yet people who show nudity can be on there for a lifetime. Ridiculous. This app sucks! No one should download it!

I was flagged right after my subscription was automatically renewed at a much increased rate! Customer service keep replying with boilerplate, they basically just ignore me. Wtf?! I've never had any problems on other dating sites - either with banning, overcharging or scam. But look what MeetMe did: they simply took my money and flagged me with without giving any explanation. I regret joining this filthy site and renewing my subscription. There was only one person I communicated with there. The rest turned out to be either fakes or con artists. I recommend everybody to never get engaged with MeetMe!

I've gained a few friends from this site although to be honest most of the men on this site are only looking for sex and will gladly proposition you and shamelessly keep asking after you've told them I'm not interested. I had one guy try to give me cash to have sex with him only to turn around and apologize and then come back again asking me if I'd give him a blowjob. I've also been told to go f myself and called a pig simply for rejecting a $#*! pic from a guy I'd met on there. And one guy won't leave me alone telling me he wants to eat me out. This site is ridiculous. Not only do people proposition for sexual favors, they just let anyone hack into your account and change all your information. The link they send to your email is also more spam to $#*! your account even worse. The customer service is just pitiful. No number to call to get help, nobody replies to your email no matter how many you send. This site is, all together, a sorry excuse for social media. Thought changing literally EVERYTHING about this site would be a good thing? Welp, they were wrong. Once again. These people need to realize that some things are best the way they are. Not EVERYTHING needs to change. The only beneficial change to this site is it's name; it now fits its members. Meetme is for people to pick up whores. That's it. I always thought MeetMe was the first site that people tryed when they became single. I used it years ago and left after a while because it wasnt for me. Since then ive mostly been using WeJustFit and the odd weekend on Tinder for a laugh. I decided to try MeetMe again last week after they emailed me an offer and must say theyve improved a lot. Will probably use them more now.

Meetme will charge you multiple times for a single transaction. When you call them on it, they will tell you that they cannot refund the money they took because you used the digital items purchased. This is despite the fact that they never gave you anything for the additional charges. They have charged me 4 times for a single transaction, all with the same timestamp, and upon showing them proof, they stop responding. So if you're looking to give someone $500 for a $100 transaction, MeetMe is the place for you.

The only way they would allow all of the scammers, predators, and prostitutes on there is if they were directly profiting from it. So... now I'm intrested in who gets in trouble. Obviously if you found your match, you would leave the site... they keep you away from the people you are most compatible with. Don't give them your money!
