Do not go near these crooks with a barge pole. I joined two days ago and was immediately inundated with messages supposedly from ladies in the Ripley (Derbyshire) area. Whilst being reasonably self-confident, I'm not stupid enough to believe that 43 women, many of them twenty years younger, think I'm the cat's whiskers. The replies given by the fake profiles were all very bland, general, and in the same style. Many gave the show away by using the same unusual words, cliches, and Americanisms. Now that I've asked 'them' to chat in a more detailed, personal way, and to tell me something about Ripley, the interest seems to have waned somewhat! Apparently it is not illegal to post fake profiles, only to use them for fraud, embezzlement, etc. To misquote Mr. Bumble, "If the law says that then the law is an $#*!."
This site is an absolute total scam. The accounts aren't real; they're pics of attractive women, they will appear to view you, check your romantic compatibility, and then send you a cute intro message - but it's all fed by generative AI (like ChatGPT). None of this is real.
You can tell for yourself if you're unlucky enough to have signed up before reading this. Send the 'woman' a very unusual message in chat - now note that the response is very artificial, very benign, even to the most outrageous comment. I'd tell you other ways I detected the fraud, but I don't want to tip off the producers of this atrocity with ways to improve their art.
It only took me an hour or so to figure out this was AI driven tribble (I work in IT - this didn't pass the Turing Test). The next day after signing up I sent an email to support at meetmyage.com and followed up with a phone call, informed them I knew this was an AI scam, and asked for a refund of my subscription ($49.99 for 3 months). Told her if she gave me a full refund I wouldn't bash their bogus site on all of my social media sites. The lady I spoke to with a strong Asian accent told me the best she could do was a partial refund of $25. I tried to convince them to do a full refund in follow up emails from support - no satisfaction. Partial refund doesn't cut it - so I'm telling everyone who will listen. This site is very clever - but it's still a SCAM, and it's still very, very wrong. Shame on you.

I also agree is scam. There may be some legit people, I'm guessing 25-50% maybe. I tested them and they could not give me the correct answers from questions relating to their supposedly "living area". Also one did divulge by mistake that they weren't even in the same country as me! Too bad it was fun while it lasted, but unfortunately in a fantasy!

MeetMyAge is an incredibly insane waste of time. It's definitely not worth the $30 discount sign up and especially not worth a $60 automatic renewal charge. And, apparently, it is packed to the gills with AI chat-bots.
None of the "women" I met, who have *initiated* contact, want to talk about themselves, but they do want to hammer you with questions. *Every* time they reply. It's like a police interrogation under a 250w spot light. And they all ask pretty much the same questions.
None of them even want to entertain the possibility of meeting for even a simple cup of coffee with no strings attached, even though they supposedly live in the same town as you. The excuses range from "my schedule is too busy" to "oh, I prefer to keep it light and continue chatting"
All of them repeat back what you just said, all though not verbatim
All of them would prefer to chat endlessly, without any clear goal of establishing anything but more chats.
Their icebreaker questions are awkward & clumsy - I'd be embarrassed to open a conversation with most of them. The in-site notifications annoying and interfere with any "conversation".
I have NEVER seen anything as patently FAKE as this one. You have to cancel with either an email or a phone call - I emailed, so as to have records. Make sure you ask for written confirmation and block your card from any future charges. Canceled after 4 days (don't ask my why it took that long - I dunno myself). Don't walk away from this one - - RUN!

NONE OF THE PEOPLE ON THERE WERE REAL! I asked almost everyone to take a picture of their hand making a peace sign or do they wear a ring and when they would say yes I'd ask if they would put in on their left pinky and take a picture. Not one person did it or Id ask them questions they didn't answer and just ask another question. Its some build in AI thing that just keeps you on the hook for asking question after question. The worst part is you have to email them to cancel! You better take your card of there asap! SCAM SCAM SCAM!

This "service" has got to be a scam. I signed up and signed in, immediately receiving invitations to chat to "get to know each other". When I created my profile, I asked to meet women between the edges of 50 and 70 as I am 70 years old. The many contacts that initiated activity were all women between 35 and 55 and amazingly attractive. They were all fascinated by my profile which included one photo that was not necessarily my best and the standard questions that I answered from the site's format. The exchanges were all the same. I would be asked a question which I would answer and I was immediately responded to with a complementary comment about what I just texted along with another question. I had to force my questions in to try to find out more about these "women". When I suggested meeting any of them, I was put off with cute comments like "oh let's not rush. Let's just keep having fun here." This was typical of each and every encounter that was initiated by the women, not by me. The pattern was uncannily similar in every encounter. And these beautiful young women, 20 to 25 years, my junior, were so enamored of my profile. They wanted to know more and more about me, but were not interested enough to ever want to meet. Many of them were real estate agents. I asked one of them what real estate agency she worked for. She gave me a company name that doesn't exist based on my Searches. When I called the company and actually spoke with a live person and requested refund, I was told that because I was two days into the subscription that she would only refund 50%, but added that she would give me three months of the top level service for free. So far I have not seen a refund to my credit card. Stay away from this site!

The pattern of this scam is easily recognizable very quickly. You will login. You will get one, or two pre-fabricated messages from somebody who will never message you again, even if you reply. Just look at the replies from the representative on here. All of their responses are exactly the same.
