When you first land on their landing page, they have girls nearby "message" you, then when you actually sign up, crickets. Either those girls aren't actually sending the messages or they're not real people at all.

Was advertised for about $6.99 for 6 months and got charged $79.99. Every person that chatted with me had a fake account and ended up being a different person. This full of fake accounts trying to Catfish people! I asked for my money back and close my account and never got a reply back about a refund! Meetsville is nothing but a bunch of crooks! Big waste of good money!

Meetville is a scam. Don't waste your time or money. No refunds. They will lead you on, fish for info, get your trust then start the scam offer. Something about I need to get a date ID... sure... nope... it's a scam, don't give out your information, don't pay a penny, just walk away. The whole thing is a scam.

The place is a total scam. You will get message over and over to force you to get a subscription in order to be able to reply. Once you do it, everything will suddenly stop. The people in the profiles will completely ignore you when before they could not stop messaging you or replying/responding to the "winks", the only thing allowed to do besides "like".

Stay away from this site. So far is the more fraudulent site I have encounter... and there is tons of them.

Just joined... getting plenty of attention... profiles looking me up and messaging me seem fake... the hole things seems fishy and realize the site is trying to bait me into paying... classic signs of a scam site... stay away!

I have contacted a total of 400+ women on the site, and (as the web site says) not one single member has visited my profile or not a single "member" has replied to my message. Not one. It's evident that the "members" are simply made up, otherwise, like every normal human, they would be socializing with other members. This web site is a TOTAL FRAUD.

Paid for a 3 month subscription and haven't gotten one message back. I get alot of likes and winks and messages saying this person wants to chat but then I message them and all they do is read it with no response back. I wish I would have read the reviews before paying

Hi Guys/gals, you are all right that meetville is a scam. I had my subscription using Apple Pay and I experienced the same issues you experienced. Apparently I contacted Apple customer support services and had my full refund. I will advice you to contact Apple for iPhone users and android users should contact google play store support and explain the situation. Probably something might be done about it. Thats all I might recommend right now.

Do not pay for a subscription. It will make it appear that people are online and active. It's a complete scam there are no people whatever. Besides the one's who've been scammed.
Completely stealing money

I was about to pay for this service when I suddenly realised that most of the supposed messages were badly written ( as if by by people with English as a second language) and that women 15 years younger than me were interested in me which doesn't happen to me either on POF or Match. I believe that there may be a few genuine people on here but mostly these are false profiles or even ones who are legitimate but are no longer active ( which happened to me on Zoosk- where they keep the profile active but the profile no longer is actually active. This happened to me on Zoosk. There is a profile on Meetville with all the same profile pics of a woman who was on POF several years ago but no new ones and I don't think that she us still active.
This site could be legitimate but I think it is bogus.

As soon as you finish your profile, you get an instant influx of people wanting to chat, now you can't chat until you pay, so after paying and you reply to all the people that wanted to chat, not one reply.
Meetville are scammers from America, so don't pay subscription, you will only get ripped off by these frauds.

Meetville is a trap dating site

Firstly the moment, you registered with meetville 14 female contacts updated that they either wanted to chat or pursue a conversation.

Secondly the moment you pay subscription not even a single contact is replying back. I have already registered with another dating site and within three days two contacts have started a conversation.

Firstly, I was unsatisfied with the service. I hoped to find people near my location but they showed me people 100 km away from me. Even wanted to ask for a refund... I contacted Customer Support and they told me to set the distance wanted in the settings with the detailed instruction. After that, the situation changed for the better. Thank you for the help!

Up front I give this site 5 stars. I am astonished that it is not the most popular site. Why: because it is the only free site that I have found that gives basic real contact with other participants, which just does not exist at any other site that I have looked at. No one seems to make this fact clear. You can pay for more features, but the lack of these features does not prevent you from making real contact. All the other sites want to charge you as soon as you click on sending a message and want to lock you into automatic renewal at substantial rates. In fact, looking at the reviews of these other sites, it looks as though they are being run by con artists. The constant changing of the cost at these other sites also suggests that they are trying to manipulate you.

I downloaded Meetville during the pandemic. Purchased a subscription for 6 months just not to get bored during the COVID. I'm from Brazil and wanted to chat with sb from Australia. With the help of advanced search criteria, I was able to get acquainted with a pretty girl from Canberra. Currently looking forward to meeting her in real life... I hope it will not take a long time.

It took me no more than 4 minutes to find a person I liked, just a few steps to set criteria, look thru results and look closer at profiles, it cannot be easier, besides when I need to choose I can limit down the search results by deleting some people from the list, it's all convenience

No problems in performance. Everything is neat and clear, especially navigation. I love my profile page, its menu – it's well-organized so that I don't get lost in it. Besides, near it I can see the page I have just visited, and can easily get back to it. Once again, navigation here is cool

Before I even finished my profile I had 12 women saying they love my photo come and meet me blah blah blah blah…then they ask for money… You could just tell it was Bots totally fake. I'm a computer technician and I'm telling you it did not look or feel even close to real

The stereotypes got me and online dating always had that unnatural and fake taste, but corona dictates its terms. And here I was, heh. Overall the impression was def no bad, there were plenty of really sweet people. Had some meaningful convos, a couple of Zoom meetings, aaaand finally met my cutie pie! Which has absolutely changed my every day for the better. And actually my whole attitude to such apps…but maybe the reason's that we've matched pretty quickly, so didn't have much time to get disappointed :D

For real. More bots than CS GO or counter strike. Until you sign up all looks legit. Later bam bam girls everywhere letting winks go and want to chat (especially in my case i am igly AF). Its like HOSTEL movie revisited as if your at bratislava. DoNT fall for it. Dont Sub, ripp off. Actually report the app.

All negative comments are true. 7/17/2021 I decided to get my feet wet for the first time with online dating, saw Meetsville ad on Facebook and gave it a try. You register, get messages and matches with bots/fake profiles, you pay subscription to reply, aaaaaand... They never reply to you back. Lesson learned, listen to other comments and read reviews before signing up for these sites. I already have low self-esteem and this site just made it worse. Thank you reviewers for warning me and shame on Meetsville for making business by takingg advantage of people. Cold hearted world we live in.

After seeing their ad numerous times on Facebook, I hesitantly decided to join. I got a message immediately from a woman who I personally know from my city. I texted her and asked if she had sent me that message and she said that she has not logged onto Meetville since early 2016... My join date was mid December 2021. The membership prices are misleading and advertised to be per week, but they charge you for all of it upfront. So when I joined for free I got over a dozen messages without contacting anyone, but since paying zero. I am an attorney and have started the process of a class action lawsuit against Meetville.
