Easy to order and delivered no fuss. One suggestion might be to call on approach so I know when the delivery is coming (luckily someone was home to help driver unload). Other than that, it was an efficient way to get materials.
Ordered from this company, products were damaged, no reply, didn't want to know about it! Won't pick up the 3M pallet even after delivery driver said they would. Sales person is rude and just hangs up! Will never use the company again!
Good service from these guys but the 4.8mtr timber fascias purchased had big gouges under the sticker on both timbers. Overall ok but wouldn't purchase that product again.
The length I required
Great product and faster than expected delivery.
My only ciriticism would be the $119 local delivery fee where requests for an ETA were somehow missed and therefore instructions not followed. Also I had to help unload as only one guy (who was a lovely gentleman BTW) with a shoulder injury was sent out.
Overall very happy with the product and will definitely buy from these guys again, but it might be more cost effective to pick up.
Staff were helpful and communicated clearly about my order when a stock size LVL was not available.
Easy website to navigate using a mobile phone unlike several competitors.
Delivery could use some sms updates to alert customers about arrival times. We had to have the order left on the verge for us to move and store including a large pallet.
Ease of use, prices were reasonable and ordering is simple. Quick delivery for comparable prices to other businesses.
Quality is pretty good for the job at hand.
Called the customer service to check stock.
They said they had plenty.
Had to place the order in rush, tried to call every 2 hours in the next 2 days and no one answers. They don't even tell you the ETA of delivery.
By the time the material arrived, it was the wrong stuff. I called them again and they said they were out of stock, and had to change to something similar without communicating with me.
Product is somewhat more expensive to other suppliers, transport fee is definitely way too expensive and unreasonable.
Called the next 2 days non stop after placing the order. No one answers.

I received order late, damaged and on a 3m palet which I didn't want. Driver wouldn't take the palet and said work it out with the company.
No answers to my emails RE damage or palet. Several phone calls later still no action! Rude and non business like. Wouldn't recommend this company, one star is too high...

Excep for the damage, no problem with the product. Don't expect to get an answer if there is an issue with the product!
Your site is easy to navigatei purchased a door online at 4.30 on Friday that needed to be cut to size and the guys at Megatimber had it cut and ready for me to pick it when I got there at 5.15 and loaded it on top of my car. Great Service

The lengths of timber needed for the task were not available. (8 off 3.6m) so they substituted it for 1.8s and mixtures of everything under.
Net result. The total length in metres supplied did not even meet the ordered qty. Project did not get done, allocated time for the job to be done. Mega mess up. Now I have to go back and find some correct lengths. Every length of timber and size I have ordered was not available and not delivered to the correct sizes ordered.
I have up to now had a good run with them and have started telling other project engineers to buy from Mega.
It was on the website, it had not comments of being un available. I could order the material ahead of the needed date via the web.
Not so.
I called the business and the guy on the line was rude and provided no help. I hung up and called another provider. I ended up0 getting the right advice and service, this company missed out on $6000. 00 purchse. I wish I looked up the review first
Ordered 8 x 3600 x 100 x 75 Red Alert LVLs.
Received a smaller(less well known) substitute product Foxtim 3600 x 100 x 67(approx).
Never heard of this brand and in any case it was NOT what was ordered
This was without any warning. Additionally invoice shows Red Alert LVLs as order.
Feel short changed - not happy.

A problem with Pay Pal paying for the timber, looking on the website again it had gone up 800AUD, the gentleman that I was dealing with said he would honour the first quote, but couldn't give me free delivery as offered by your company.
Seems it was the only Company with the particular cladding I was after, maybe that explained the price increase?

I ordered on line and from the time I arrived to pick it up have it cut to length and loaded the service was excellent and they processed my order in less than 20 minutes
Good hardwood for project
Item was in stock and delivered 2 days later. Was able to speak on the phone with sales representative regarding the product. Website was easy to navigate.

Product was delivered without coordinating first with contact person at the site.
When there was no one to receive it, product was left there, where it could possibly be stolen.
Delivery guy excellent - timber straight and nicely wrapped given it was raining - didn't expect it to be wrapped given it was H3 pine and was very very happy
Materials arrived a couple of days after ordering, unfortunately some weather boards were the wrong style but I had no trouble getting changed correct ones delivered
After due diligence and calling the sales team to check availability of stock, placing the order online and then calling again to confirm the order and a delivery time, I traveled to the city to take delivery in the time specified by Canterbury timber. After waiting the 3 hour window, nothing came and no explanation was given. I called to find out what had happened, the gentleman laughed at me 3 or 4 times loudly and proclaimed that they don't have the product in stock, it was never going to be delivered during the time specified and Canterbury timber "NEVER" honors its contracts... leaving me several thousands of dollars out of pocket. (due to loss of ongoing hours to rectify Canterbury timber's spurious behavior. Not to mention the cost of the materials which is about 1/3 of the total deliberate financial damages caused)
Take this experience as you will but I think nothing could possibly be as bad a Megatimber. I am currently suffering ongoing financial losses due to the deliberate behavior of this business.

Hi Nicholas. So sorry you had this experience. If you could let us know who you spoke to when confirming the order and availability of stock before ordering because the item you ordered is not a product that is generally kept in stock in the quantities you required. Your note on the order actually requested a phone call one hour prior to delivery. My understanding is that our salesperson did offer you a refund when the total amount of skirting was not available.

Got sent 2.4m board - ordered 3m boards they then sent 2x 3m boards to make up the short fall the next day. Great service. Mistakes happen and the team fixed it quickly. Will always keep coming back.

Site and speed to deliver
Was very easy to order various timbers on the platform. Delivery was in 3 working days and exactly as asked - we have difficult site access.
Office was very helpful over the phone and able to confirm delivery with a Ute/small truck as we have difficult site access.
They were required for the job.

An urgent order and ordered when store nearly close. Very helpful and modify the pick up method to meet our requirements.

The courier needed a shower but you can't control that.
