Used them for our move on April 1. They showed up an hour early while we were still offsite loading the truck and then they clearly had no communication on the price that was quoted to us. They had a sketchy reason for not accepting our debit card so we paid in cash. It's been 11 days since I've used their service and have yet to receive an invoice. I have called EVERY single day since our move to obtain this invoice, each time getting a different answer.

The guys were on time, worked really hard loading and unloading the van, they were really careful with our furniture and waited patiently for the keys to be released. Would absolutely recommend their services. Thanks!

The removal was carried out efficiently. The team worked solidly without breaks and without complaint. In fact, nothing was too much trouble for them. We highly recommend this company and will certainly use them next time we move.

You should this company for your removals. We've used them twice now and have had really good service and experience both times. They are really competitively priced, and so worry about what sort of service you might get, but they are really professional, punctual and polite

A few days ago, Metropolitan did an absolutely amazing job during the move. I had to store some of my furniture into a storage POD and they did an extraordinary job of carefully wrapping, packing. And moving my furniture. They were extremely polite and friendly while maintaining a good level of professionalism. I would recommend their service to everyone and I will be definitely contacting them again for their service if needed. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Where to begin? This was the worst experience I had with a move ever. They took 6 hours to do a 2-bedroom condo moving, with everything already packed and ready to go. The last company that I've used made the same move within 2 hours, with time to spare). The movers were super slow, not wearing a uniform, not wearing gloves, forgot to bring the mattress cover, and they spend the whole time horsing around and talking on the phone in a foreign language. They then destroyed a baseboard at my building (which I had to pay and refused to refund). And then they ripped my new office chair, and of course, refused to repay). And then they took a 1:30h lunch and CHARGED ME for this time. You can always expect some wear and tear on any move, but almost every single piece of furniture got damaged. And then the absurd charge: $750 (Which they tried to get in cash not to pay any taxes). Never again!

I was asked for moving total prior to my move. Cancelled move due to that. Ower called and said the person that called me no longer worked for company. I called Barrie metropolitan movers and asked for Oliver and there was no one working by that way. Apparently there is something going on.

This is absolutely the worst company to ever deal with. They are unprofessional in every way. They moved us about 6-7 months ago broke a 4K Samsung and expensive click broke mirrors and still to this day has not replaced any of these items. They give you the run around every time you call. They take your money immediately but won't replace the broken items. THIEVES! There managers are a joke as each one passes the buck to the next until you just give up. Totally crooked liars and thieves. DON NOT EVER ISE THIS COMPANY! IF they can rip you off they will.

Cancelled a 3pm move at 4:45pm and didn't give any advance notice at all. I had spend an hour chasing them on the phone to even get that far and then their excuse was that I didn't call them quickly enough. They didn't even bother calling me.

The experience with this company was great! Mover man was polite and very helpful. Appreciate the help, he had helped me set up certain things as well. Best service so far thank you!

In reality it was a pretty easy experience. Everything was transported with care and arrived as it left, customer service was great as was communication. Price was pretty reasonable too!
