Anne it's because most people don't review unless they've had a bad experience, but my experience was good. I bought a couch cover for half the price the same one was on other sites. Arrived within the stated time window, with no damage at all. I will buy from them again

I ordered a letter from Santa for my Grandson. He never received the letter. Called the company 12/26/23. Talked with Maria not sure if it's correct not able to understand but when asked she said yes my name. She said letter was sent out in bulk mail and would receive. Explained the letter from Santa was to be delivered prior to Christmas. She kept repeating it was sent. Mentioned that I would put a complaint with the BBB she stated" GO Ahead ". Order from a more reliable company. Big rip off.

Buyer Beware of Scam
The product I ordered was subpar and they tricked me into a subscription. They said I signed up for a "VIP loyalty membership by entering my email into a savings box." They charged my credit card $14.95/month for 3 months before I realized what they were doing. What a scam! Buyer beware!

One would think that by placing an order on-line and paying for it in full at time of ordering, that one would get it in a timely fashion, BUT NOT WITH Miles Kimball! I ordered 2 items, of which BOTH were in stock when I ordered them on 11/02/2020 and they STILL have not even shipped as of 11/09/20. They are still in the processing stage, and when I tried to cancel, they told me that they could not cancel them, that it was too late! How can it be too late, if the items are STILL in processing? If you have an ETERNITY to wait for their items, go ahead, but I would suggest going elsewhere that is a little quicker. They have NEVER been this slow, and when I called to cancel, it was difficult to understand as the voices were choppy. They would NOT cancel my order.

Tip for consumers:
Go Ahead and order, if you want to wait FOREVER to get the items, for OBVIOUSLY, they have better things to do than ship your order in a prompt manner. Their on-line catalog is very appealing and it is quite easy to find things. It is also very easy to place an order. Too bad they don't think that they EVER have to ship your items. They have no concept of time. It is quite sad really, for they USED to be a good company!!! :( :( :(

Charged $14.95 for rewards program. I did not authorize charge. Seems a lot of people are scammed for this.
Item also arrived late.
Very shady practice.

I ordered a christmas tree from this company.It was exactly $79.81 It arrived poorly packed and damaged - 5-6 of the branches were broken, and several of the lights did not work. I put everything back in the box, wrote a note stating the damages, and printed their return label ($7 charge to customer). At this point I have put out $79.81 plus $7 totalling $86.81 for a DAMAGED product. The company only refunded me $57.01.
I feel I should be made whole - they owe me $29.80. They insist that I pay both shipping charges, handling and restock fee. THE PRODUCT WAS DAMAGED1

AVOID THIS COMPANY. SKANK POLOCIES

NONE. I ordered a christmas tree that arrived poorly packaged (box was crushed and open on one end) , branches broken due to the tree being stuffed in a box that was too small, and many of the lights did not work.

I ORDERED SOME PERSONALIZED CHRISTMAS CARDS. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THEM IN STOCK. YOU CANNOT REACH THEM BY PHONE! I HAVE SENT SEVERAL EMAILS, AND ALL THEY SAY IS THAT THEY WILL RESPOND IN 24 HOURS! THEY EVEN HAVE ME SIGNED UP FOR IC FREE SHIPPING! NOW I HAVE TO GO TO THE BANK ON MONDAY AND DISPUTE THESE CHARGES!

I ordered a West Bend Slow Cooker on the 18th of December for $59.00, and paid $32.00 for over night shipping without ever getting what I ordered.

This was a gift for my 74 YO mom, who never actually says she wants anything for Christmas. She wanted this though to replace the one that had broken last week after 25 years of her using it. I ordered it last Wednesday, the 18th, paid the $32.00 to insure I'd have it by Christmas Eve, and here we are on on 12-27-2019 and still no West Bend slow Cooker.

I sent the emails to customer service that ask everyone to give them 24-48 hours to reply. They replied with an "I'm sorry". They never addressed the fact I paid almost as much for the shipping as the product itself. They never said they'd ship another since the original is apparently lost. They haven't done crap. They have failed to reply to any follow up emails.

Luckily I paid with a CC, and I'll dispute the charges by the EOD tomorrow, and order elsewhere. I advise everyone to avoid this company. I will post this everywhere, not because the shipment got lost, but because of their indifference to the situation.

Place an order and received the wrong item TWICE. One of the items I order was supposed to arrive a month later, it is now 3 months later and I never received it, no $ reimbursed either, and when I tried to track the order on their website said I have no order history.

Placed an order on 4/11/20. A few days later I get an "out of stock" notice on one of my items and my new invoice removes that item AND CHARGES ME MORE FOR THE REST OF THE ORDER. Called them and they fixed my invoice, but as of today 4/20/20, they have not shipped my order, don't respond to e-mails and disconnect the line when called. This used to be a really great company. Not any more!

We ordered Christmas presents on the 9th of December. They hadn't arrived, and we called tonight (the 23rd) to find out what was going on. They had been shipped yesterday. After asking the CS rep to ask a supervisor what had gone wrong, apparently they had been "hidden behind a larger box" and they didn't find them until yesterday. Now they won't arrive until the 26th! Grandkids won't get presents, and all they could offer was a $25 voucher. You would think they would upgrade to a faster way of shipping so they would arrive for Christmas. Thoughtless and unacceptable.

Tip for consumers:
Check up early and often - incompetence abounds in the warehouse and shipping departments.

I paid to have my grandson get a letter from Santa in Nov. When he didn't receive by Jan 5th I put in complaint. I paid to expedite.$25 down the drain

Membership rewards billed to my account on 09/01/20

Next payment due 10/08/20 (my account has always been paid on each month)
Rewards membership cancelled by YOU (not by me)
Wants me to make a new purchase in order to reinstate my rewards membership when you cancelled it through NO FAULT of mine
I will be paying off my account and will never buy from your company again. I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and anywhere else that allows reviews of your company to forewarn customers how you get them to buy more product by cancelling their rewards membership and giving them every reason in the book as to why it was cancelled

My mother (85 and no online presence) ordered and prepaid for several items in mid November. They shipped two of the smaller items at the end of November, but did not ship the larger $39.99 item. Then they sent her a notice that it was "cancelled" - apparently it was out of stock. But they didn't send a refund. So she called on Nov 12 and they said they had sent a refund (the refund was received today Nov 16 and postmarked Nov 12). So lie #1 - it wasn't in the mail, they didn't mail it until she called to complain. Then when the refund arrived it was only for $26.67, not the $39.99 that she had paid for the item. Why? Because they charged her a shipping fee - because her original order no longer met the dollar requirements for free shipping (their fault!). Then they charged her a PROCESSING fee - to refund the money that they owed her because they didn't have the item in stock(!). Then they charged her back the discount she received because her initial order was over $25 and without the item that they didn't ship - it no longer met that requirement. She made multiple calls and they stood by all their additional charges. So instead of being refunded the $39.99 she paid for something they didn't ship, she got $13.32 less for all their additional charges and processing fees. What a rip off! DO NOT buy anything from this company! They ripped off an 85 year old woman on a fixed income! As her daughter, I am incensed! I am sure you can find more reputable (and honest) vendors out there. These guys SUCK!

They tried billing me for items ordered a year earlier! Items were returned. I was sent to collection! I have had 3 "supervisors" tell me it has been taken care of. I repeat - DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

I'm furious that I received the brass angel chimes labeled "Scandavian" (made in China on inside) and they don't work and now I have to pay to return. I bought same crap from Amazon last year.

They mispriced their items, which if they were a good company would honor their mistake but that aside, they took over 10 DAYS to notify me that they were cancelling my order because of the misprice and I still have a hold on my account for the amount of my order, who knows how long that will take to be straightened out. That is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. It doesn't take 10 days to figure out your mispriced something. I don't know that I would have necessarily given them just 1 star for this incident alone except they delete completely honest and completely civil reviews from their facebook page, to me that say a lot about a company as well. If you can't allow honest reviews of your company and just want people to see nothing but positive remarks to skew your perception of their company than the company itself is shady.

I received the catalog and there were some sale prices and free shipping. I had a $10 coupon FROM Miles Kimball. When I put the coupon code in, the prices on the items in my cart jumped up. If you use a coupon - no sale price. If you use a coupon/voucher (their Thank You gift), they raise the prices AND there is no Free Shipping. And, to add insult to injury, they have high shipping fees AND THEY ALSO CHARGE A HANDLING FEE. Can you say rip-off?

I ordered metal ice trays and at the end of my order it said thank you for signing up for the V. I. P membership you will be billed in 30days with the card you used to purchase items. I went to the help button it than stated to cancel membership send email or go to custimer service website to cancel. I went to customer service website and it stated they had no record of account. I than sent 2 emails and a message to customer service they sent a meassage back stating they have no record of the email. I than calles customer service the next day and explaines the situation the rep does not speak clear english she allowed me to explain 3 different times just to tell me i need to call another number. The company is cheating people out of money. I did not sign up for a membership. Just the thought of overing something simple like ice trays and they turn it into a monthly membership. If you camn order from somewhere else save yourself the heart ache.

I ordered two items, and received an email two days later that my items have shipped. I opened the email only to find that the one item was cancelled because it was out of stock. I went onto their website and saw that the item said it was in stock, so I called to see whether they would be able to fulfill my order. After being on hold for quite some time a woman answered and rudely told me she needed my credit card number to order the item that was in fact in stock. After I got off of the phone with the woman, I added up the two separate amounts I paid and realized I was paying more than I was initially. After calling back and waiting again, the woman put me on hold to check why the prices were different. She then preceded to tell me that it was their mistake and that I should have paid more initially, but that it was their problem. However, she said that the new total was correct. I told her that I did not think it was fair that I pay more when it was their mistake, but she could care less. I said that I was very unhappy and that it was not right of them to do and that I wouldn't be ordering from them again, and she responded with "Go talk." Never have I ever dealt with such horrible customer service. Don't order from this company, nobody should be treated so disrespectfully.

THEY ARE THE WORST. NO HELP AT ALL MILES KIMBALL SENDED ME CONGRATULATION YOU ARE PRE-APPROVED FOR A LITTLE $100.00 DOLLARS. SO I ORDER $44.00 DOLLARS ONE TIME ANDE TRYED TO PLACE ANOTHER ORDER FOR $54.00 DOLLARS AND THEY TOLD ME I GOT TO PAY 10% DOWN. WHY? IF I'M NOT AT MY LIMIT OF $100.00. SO I SPOKE TO SOMEONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE CREDIT DEPT. AND BOTH DEPT. WAS SO RULED MILES KIMBALL YOU SUCK. I CANCEL EVERYTHING. SO IF ANY ONE IS THINKING ABOUT ORDERING ANYTHING FROM THEM PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST AND YOU WILL SEE HOW RULED THEY ARE. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE NOT WITH THEM.

False advertising! I ordered an L-Shaped pillow that says it included a damask cover. Upon arrival, no cover. After emailing customer service TWICE, I was told that it doesn't come with a cover and that should be removed from the site, yet it is still advertised to include it, almost a week later. I asked for them to make it right and send the cover that they sell separately, since it is their mistake. I was told they are unwilling to do that but I am more than welcome to purchase it. Being offered a gift voucher of $5 wouldn't even cover the cost of the pillowcase or the shipping. So now, I would have to pay processing, and S&H TWICE, and extra money, to get what was promised in the description of the item. REALLY?! This item is MUCH cheaper elsewhere, I only ordered it here because it said it came with a cover. FALSE ADVERTISING! BEWARE!
