I purchased a number of these Minut units a couple of years ago, spending hundreds of pounds on hardware. Minut.com have now told me I need to give them hundreds of pounds each year to keep the units operational or they will stop working. They did not inform me at the time of purchase that they would try to force me onto a subscription. If they had I would not have purchased them in the fist place. I consider the company to be extremely unethical with little regard for their customers.

Years ago, at the time of purchase maintenance cost was 0€. I would not have purchased otherwise.
Now they changed their mind and unilaterally decided to start charging, leaving me with a useless piece of hardware if a decide not to pay.
An email saying they have higher cost was all the explanation they give.
