Had a good experience today for my visit. Driver was on time got me to the Dr. 20 minutes before. The driver was excellent. He also came back to pick me for my return home.
Humana is canceling our transportation benefits in 2025 and honestly it won't be much of a loss because Modivcare is the worst transportation company ever. Sadly, Modivcare doesn't care how lousy their service is. They can't find my address. They deny me rides even when I request the ride 4 days ahead of time. When I ask why I was denied they say Saturday and Sunday are not work days even though they are at work answering the phone. I have to verify my identity every time I call. When I call they say I have called the wrong number even though it's the number in the app. Will call takes at least 15 minutes every time. Before they started using Lyft the vans they picked me up in were old and dirty and the drivers were on their cell phone the entire ride.
I've had so many issues. Either not coming on time or completely not showing up at all. Missing multiple medical appointments because of this company. Taking 3 hours to pick up people after the facility closes.
Also, they have a stupid rule needing 7 days ahead of time to schedule appointments when they don't show up. Only certian stuff is conisdered emergency that can be made the day of or day before which is killing people who can't get transportation bc of disability or funds.
Sad. Medicaid do better.
They schedule appointments then the night before they cancel or yet push out your pic up time then your late to your appointment. I can see ten or twenty minutes but an hour and a half! That's ridiculous. Especially since it's a dialysis chair time so not except able. Not once or twice it's an ongoing issue. What's wrong with these people. Now he's stranded at dialysis since they cancelled his ride home. Why are they able to just cancel a ride. The patients sits in the lobby waiting since no one bothers to tell them it's cancelled. I just love how the pass the buck blaming this one or that and not taking responsibility for there mistakes. I'd give them ten thumbs down
FROM 10/1/2023 TO 2/9/2024 I HAVE 10 RIDES THAT JUST PLAIN DID NOT SHOW UP! I HAVE CALLED THEM AND THEY JUST MAKE UP ONE EXCUSE AFTER ANOTHER. THEY WILL SAY YOUR RIDE WAS WITH ONE COMPANY, HOWEVER WHEN YOU CALL THAT COMPANY, THEY SAY THEY DO NOT HAVE YOU ON THEIR SCHEDULE. PERHAPS THAT IS WHY MOST OF THE TIME MODIVCARE WILL NOT GIVE YOU A PHONE NUMBER YOU HAVE TO FIND IT YOURSELF
Modivcare has the worse customer service ever! If you ever request to speak to a supervisor the hold time is unimaginable, seriously! You will hold for an hour, they'll then put a team lead on the phone. You'll have to stand firm and ask for a supervisor again! Only to hold for another hour. I cant believe this company treats clients this way! I had a disrespectful agent by the name of Sansia in Florida book my reservation. She didn't seem to care either about the phone call being recorded. The app has a lot of issues. So you're forced to call in and speak to an agent. The drivers arent so bad its the agents working within the company. It comes off as if there aren't consequences for agents to behave disrespectfully, so a lot of them do it freely. It's just an overall low graded company to do business with!
Always late, come to pick you up three hours after appointment. They waste your time instead of hiring more drivers. The customer doesn't matter to them. Stinky and filthy vehicles with weird creepers driving them. I have been hit on by drivers, made to ride with trash bags of trash for whole ride and dude wouldn't let me roll down the windows. Bunch of incompetent people.

This service always fails that drivers if they have uber pick you up leave if you ask for 2 man assist with wheelchair and call for it a head of time you still have problems my brother has missed many appointments with his pcp with his neurologist with doctors for surgery with his lung doctor etc tomorrow ill be calling in the company to file yet another complaint because no one there knows how to do there job or making sure you have the ride company the men the equipment before you tell the client here is the conformation number to then call later on on the date of that appointment that your still looking for someone to do the job leaving the patient to either miss the appointment or going in really late
I have complained numerous times they cancelled my trips and don't as accommodate the patients. They are left stranded. I was never picked up for a surgical procedure. Then they tell me to figure out my own transportation.
Tried to reserve a ride,put on hold for 2 hours,representative said I had to change my appointment time which was impossible,ended up having to pay almost $100 for alternate transportation.The times I had to use this service,had to wait over 2 hours for pickup.I have never gotten an apology for poor service or reimbursed for paying for alternate transportation.This company should be closed down immediately!
I don't typically leave a review esp. A negative one. However, we have experienced the most disappointing and awful experience consistently with this company's services. They are making a negative impact on patients and the senior population who need help the most. Stay away from this vendor if you have any medical transportation needs.
This company must be shut down from government, I loose several appointments because they send authorization request the day before the trip, all the time they keep lying about the trip, a lot of incompetent person.

I am repeatedly disappointed and literally abandoned. I have had Modivcare mess up my rides to my weekly appointments 4 times in the last 5 months, and on top of that, left me stranded at my appointment multiple times. (I never do "Will Call", I always schedule my home trip.)
Today I found they canceled my trip for today immediately after I scheduled it. I got no notice, nor warning. I did get my confirmation text.
When speaking to customer service, they could not discover why my ride was canceled. The app listed no reason either.
They are not trustworthy. I do not have a choice in who my insurance provides. If you do, choose another company.

Last night I received a recorded message to remind me of my pickup, not to mention they changed the pickup time. While I was writing this review, I received another message letting me know that my pickup time was changed again and they would be arriving now. One half hour later than the time they were supposed to pick me up. How convenient, to be late for my post-op back surgery appointment. This is disgraceful! Then to deal with Mara is a NIGHTMARE! Still waiting!
Modvicare is intentionally set up to deter as many to swear " I'll never go through that nightmare again" It's baked into their bottom line consequently their profit". To assume as many complaints are mere chance is to be naive —add those in the limited or rarely bunch…disabled elderly don't have time or energy.
Call ombudsman in your state. You don't have to write see or hear. They do it for you.
This is the worst transportation service I have ever used. Talk with "Mara" for 3-4 minutes only to be sent to a representative. Just spent 25 minutes trying to talk to a live person! Ride scheduled for 1:45 arrived at 2:45 just after I had just called an Uber for a ride home. I wish that my insurance company would change transportation service.
This is horrible company. They were supposed to be taking my blind family member to dialysis and dropped him off at a Waffle House. They left him there not knowing where he was. It was 6:00 in the morning and he was terrified. Anything could have happened to him.
I have missed numerous appointments because of Motive care. Four times they have left me stranded for a ride home when coming from Oncology. (stage 1) Thank goodness I have a friend and two grandsons that can pick me up. Now I want to print out their instructions and print out a mileage sheet. I am looking for a private driver. I used to call to get a reservation but my phone would et down to 3%-4%. Now I do it online and even when I have a return trip approved, I don't have one. I am not going to be left hanging anymore. I hope someday Humana will realize that Modicare is WORTHLESS!
I have missed so many of my M.S. Appointments! They will call & say the driver outside but they never are. Twice in a 2 week period they said the driver had car problems! This is so unacceptable. People lives are literally in they hands!
The customer service representatives are completely disgusting, rude and unbearable. This place should be shut down and closed forever. They don't even clean the inside of the rides. They are very uncommunicative and they screw up appointments. I highly recommend nobody ever uses this company. They're very very disgusting and rude.
Substandard service, poor customer support. They are ALWAYS late, missed last 3 appointments, had to call Uber, I was told that I was going to get reimbursed and after countless calls, the agents kept saying they wouldn't do it. The driving of each driver was absolutely horrendous, they were speeding, braking countless laws (not obeying the 4 second merge rule, speeding, running stop signs, etc.) they are unprofessional, imagine a older person with fragile bones and who gets sick easily get in a car with these drivers, as soon as they start speeding the person could get sick or have a heart attack, these drivers should not be driving for a medical company, the agents are just foul in the way they take at vantage of people and don't actually try and help but rather instead avoid helping, foul drivers, foul company and I hope others don't fall for the same trap.
This is the worst company I've evrr dealt with. My ride was denied then booked then denied and rebooked. Now less than 12 hours before appointment they cancelled. No one can tell me why. Now I have to take a taxi 72 miles because it is too late to call anyone to drive me. It is outsourced to people who you can barely understand. Horrible service
This company is supposed to provide transportation through my insurance, United Health Care. On two occasions I have called and made arrangements for transportation and on both occasions there was no driver to pick me up for my physician appointments.
My mother had a stroke and has been going to outpatient physical therapy and occupational therapy. She recently got approved for Long term care through medicaids Humana plan. The plan covers unlimited medical rides.
However, when we called to schedule they are trying to tell us that physical therapy is not considered medical!
My mom is wheelchair bound due to severe stroke and needs long term physical therapy to be able to walk again.
This company is very discriminatory against the disabled and elderly! They do not have any compassion and do not even try to help the elderly who are wheelchair bound and can not get around without help from transportation!
The automated phone system is absolutely horrible.it can do nothing productive for you...and it takes forever to reach a Human. The website is no better! You can schedule a pickup...but it will not allow you to schedule a return pick up... you have to call and get stuck in the phone system again. You end up waiting hours for your return pick-up.
If I could give 0 for ratings I would. This company has o accountability! I've missed several appointments due to their negligence. Either the driver is late or don't show up at all. Then when I call the rep say there's no appointment in the system for you smh just terrible. Spoke to a supervisor and she wasn't any help at all!
