Had a good experience today for my visit. Driver was on time got me to the Dr. 20 minutes before. The driver was excellent. He also came back to pick me for my return home.
Humana is canceling our transportation benefits in 2025 and honestly it won't be much of a loss because Modivcare is the worst transportation company ever. Sadly, Modivcare doesn't care how lousy their service is. They can't find my address. They deny me rides even when I request the ride 4 days ahead of time. When I ask why I was denied they say Saturday and Sunday are not work days even though they are at work answering the phone. I have to verify my identity every time I call. When I call they say I have called the wrong number even though it's the number in the app. Will call takes at least 15 minutes every time. Before they started using Lyft the vans they picked me up in were old and dirty and the drivers were on their cell phone the entire ride.

They are extremely rude non- compliant and I have yet to have success in getting drop off and pick up. Just today June 29,23. I was hung up on from a very rude agent. And this is not the first time.
Worst unsafe rides they gave me with company's called Best care a compete $#*! show, smelly cars, old senior citizens driving and late over ten times to appointments.
My husband has been working for Modivecare for over a year now, and in that time we've experienced SEVERAL issues with being paid, getting information on our passengers, being given rides without being notified, and several other issues.
You can tell from the multiple other 1 star reviews how badly this company treats their customers, but the way they treat their drivers is absolutely disgusting. This company currently owes us upwards of $50,000 in verified rides, and at times takes several months to give out a single payment. We've had to let employees go, and other employees have had to let their power/water be shut off due to lack of consistent payment. The company has a complete lack of communication between the payment branch and the ride dispatch. They will refuse to pay for rides, claiming that they never actually gave it to their drivers, despite the fact that the rides can be verified in writing through direct company e-mails.
This is a horrid company and it should be shut down immediately. They aren't worth the service they claim to provide.
Made my appointment for pick up to arrive from 3pm-3:30pm window. At was at 4:00pm. Had to call and was put on hold for so long…. Just to find out what time they will be here to pick me up. Ask for them to cancel my appointment. My neighbor brought me to my appointment that was only 8 mins away. Made it to my appointment at 4:10pm, at 4:15pm the driver called me saying that she is outside my house. There is no communication between the dispatcher and driver or their company. I was so thankful that my neighbor could drop me off other wise I would lost my appointment and be stranded. I will never use this company again even if it's free I would rather walk.
Nothing is wrong with the drivers. The business itself is structured so that it's very difficult to get help with a ride, especially if you are disabled. They've set it up so that every provider you see has to do paperwork and send it in and get it approved (every dentist, PT, random specialist, therapist...). My last experience with trying to get Modivcare to receive the paperwork from my GP, they "lost it" repeatedly in a manner typical for these bureaucracies, leaving me, a chronically ill wheelchair user, without help to appointments. It's been months now and it's caused me health problems.
They just started doing this, presumably to boot more people who needed help from receiving the service that Medicaid promises them. It wasn't great before (having to make all rides a week in advance or more) but now I basically can't use it.
Customer service is similarly byzantine and useless, set up to direct you to an automated system which cannot solve many problems. You basically have to demand an agent for 10 minutes, against the advice of the automated system, before you reach someone--and then that person will not know what's happening or about any documentation you've sent in, through no fault of their own. They're the only people anyone will have to complain to, though, because the people responsible for this horrible system are insulated from critique. Truly evil.

I axed myself what kinda company do I work for this place be to ghetto I had to step.
I have worked with this company several times requesting patient transportation for and 90% of the time they fall through and don't inform the patient that they won't be providing transportation.
I called this morning and they said I didn't have a ride for my appointment when it's said that they were going to come get me at 12:50 and said sorry we don't have a ride and so I had to cancel my appointment. YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD HAVE CALLED TO LET ME KNOW BUT NO, THEY ARE UNRELIABLE.
If you have a choice my advice if y to look elsewhere. Often late for getting you there and always late for getting you back. Poor people have no choice so they have no voice. We all deserve better.
Tip for consumers:
Horrible. You will be waiting for hours to get picked up unless the company decides to call you a Lyft. However I think they save money using the service vans to haul people around. If you have all day and no life to speak of then this is the rude share company for you. Bring an extra phone charger cuz you will need it. Just settle in and watch time go by while you wait for drivers who never show up.
They either dont show up or the driver cancels on the way to the pick up. They dont really care about the customer, just another waste of taxpayer money

ONLY ONE STAR FOR TNAT REASON
When this company's system works, it great. In the last year I've spent numerous hours be stuck at medial appointments up to five and six hours. No less than eight missed medical appointments. On occasion an 8 to 9 hour wait. These are often due to providers not showing up. Mostly use cabs users and lifts. Had 2 or 3 med transport companies no-show no call and moodivecare u able to make contact. I was put on VIP WATCH STATUS LAST WEEK. Had three no shows since. Numerous time wrong address was entered in system.all kinds of scenarios for wro g address including pickup and drop off location reversed., a mixture of pickup drop offlocations in the pick up address, and on and on and on.
Call takers are always polite and often very friendly and personable and willi g to correct t things to get a car.
Problems have been so extensive e and numerous, i do t have energy to list them all.
Not once not twice I lost count how many times I was abandoned by motivate. 2.5 hrs each time. Today was the last straw. 95 degree weather and I was left waiting outside for 2hrs. Calling them 3xs total 2hrs is a waste of time adding salt to a wound, when they justify the failure companies they hire saying well they have a window to pick me up. How many windows? I could build a house with all the windows I was told the Cairo transportation had. Finally I had enough after 3 attempts to get home and 10 mins on hold waiting to find out where Cairo transportation eta would be. I called a Lyft which I can't afford. But I was dehydrated at that point and had to hire a Lyft. Most elderly ppl don't do internet or download apps like Lyft. 40$ later and 3 hrs later I was finally home. They never called me to find out if I made it home or anything. Unprofessional and dangerous we are talking about medical patients. I will not go to a doctor until I can get my own transportation thanks to motivcare and Cairo transportation. So many complaints were put in requesting to stop sending Cairo transportation but yet? Motivcare will not send other companies like sultran or echo trans.My Lyft receipt
It has been months and my driver has not been reimbursed for my trip to The Mayo Clinic. I have end stage heart failure and cannot drive myself to the Mayo Clinic. They said that I need to resend the form which I HAVE DONE MULTIPLE TIMES. They are not dependable, and chances are your loved one will be stranded.
My sister is going thru Humana Medical Medicare to get transportation to Needed Dr. appts. In the last 4 appts made, modivcare never showed up to pick her up…. Called and lied when they said they were 5 min away, and never returned her phone calls. My sister had to cancel 4 dr. Appts because they NEVER SHOWED UP AND NEVER CALLED HER TO SAY THEY WERE NOT GOING TO PICK HER UP! She is scheduled for knee surgery and now has to make other arrangements for this situation! The company is incompetent and thoughtless, and they have no care about their responsibilities as a transportation company. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!,
I would give zero stars if it would let me but i have to give at least 1 to write this review, what I'm going to put on here will only scratch the surface of the issues ive had with them over the last several months their website only works when it wants to, so when you is to schedule a appt. It will show it goes through just to find out later it didnt so you have to call them but by the time they "fix it" they use the excuse its to soon to schedule a ride even if you scheduled it 3 to 4 weeks in advance, next issue they cancel rides last min and do not inform you untill you call the day of the trip asking where your ride is after is was previously approved, Their "automated phone bot" refuses to let you speak to a "real person" and by the time you finally get it to transfer you to one they are rude and refuse to help you. Their website even load half the time popping up certificate errors and you have to click off it and agree to go to a unsafe site to get it to even somewhat load. And remember this just scratches the surface there is so many more issues but i would be a week typing them all out
This company is a nightmare. They cancel my 10 month old baby's rides to his physical and occupational therapy an hour or two before his appointment and give no reason as to why. I get text messages verifying my ride the day before each time and the website also verifies that the ride is set up, then when it comes time to be picked up, their website states that there's no rides scheduled. We aren't picked up and we keep missing his appointments.
They've lied to me and said that they notified me that the ride was canceled when it never happened. I have screenshots and I've been documenting all of this. I get told that a supervisor will call me and the 3 times I was promised, I never got a call.
Does this company receive money from Medicaid for each ride they set up whether or not the ride is fulfilled? Something about this company is raising red flags to me that they are scamming Medicaid.
My son's doctor's office has told me that many of their patients are having the same issues as me. One of their drivers claimed to pick us up and drop us off at his doctor's office when we never were picked up. So far we have been failed to be picked up 6 times now.
I am writing this right now waiting for transportation. I am in tears I hate united health care and movicare. I just came out of dialysis and I supposed to have a 10:30 pickup and somebody on their end put in as a will call. I call to tell them I am ready and they tell me transportation has up to a hour to pick me up and I explain how I just came out dialysis and I don't have 45 mins to wait and also I have to be at my son's school. I really hate this company so much. I feel like this company is bad for my health. They have me late for my dialysis treatments. I hate united health care insurance. It's not a good insurance please don't get united Healthcare because then you will have to deal with unreliable transportation. And the rep Myra was no help I asked if she could send me a cab. She was like I can't do that. I hate movicare! I HATE UNITED HEALTHCARE! I HATE MOVICARE! AND IM STILL WAITING FOR TRANSPORTATION SO I CAN GET HOME. I HATE THIS WITH MY HEART AND SOUL! I AM DROPPING UNITED HEALTHCARE THEY ARE BAD FOR MY HEALTH! AND MOVICARE IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER AND THEY SHOULD NOT EXIST. I didn't even want to give 1 star they deserve NO STARS!
Scheduled appointment 4 days in advance ride never showed they canceled trip at last minute tried calling on hold over an hour still no one. Had to reschedule. This is not the first incident
They did not send a ride for my appointment and after 2.5 hrs of trying to get home I booked my own.
Drivers are never on time plus or minus 1and 1/2 hours.Vans are in sad state of repair. The drivers them selves are courteous and professional The dispatchers are the PROBLEM. The DISPATCHERS the RUDEST on the planet.
In referring to them, I believe this is a company that doesn't want to do the right thing for customers. They don't show up at times.

Drivers are rude...nasty to.and there vans smell bad...there a scam...there drivers look like thay just got out of prison. Sad
For the past 6 weeks I've scheduled 3 -5 different appointments with transportation through modivcare and have only been to one and that was 6 weeks ago they have cancelled my ride everytime less than 12 he's from my appointment the MRI and x-ray appointment 4 cancelation to where they refuse to schedule me another appointment the pain doctor says if I cancel again I can never come back I only had this doctor a month and he is already giving up on me usually the no shows limit is lifetime limitnot withmodi care I'm too ashamed to call any of them back and I feel it's because of erace if you are not black or talk like you black they don't acknowledge you 6 weeks of scheduling and not onepick up I will never use again and am waiting on a lawyer to call me or a class action which ever comes first
