How are they allowed to stay in business. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering items and expediting the shipping. A joke!
I am so sorry that I did not read the reviews on this company. I was duped into thinking the clothes were from the USA - I am in Canada. I checked the size guide and ordered one size larger. I felt I was safe as the company advertised 30 day "Easy" refund. What a joke! The sizes were for children, shoulder width was so narrow. I applied for refund and found out the clothes were from China. Surprise! I paid $90 for purchases and found that it would cost $120 to return merchandise for a refund. Got back $20 and clothes I could not even sell and am ashamed to give to charity.
I wish I had read these review first... I think it is unreasonable for you to force a customer to keep items they can't use and then only want to refund 20-30% of what they spent. I will never buy anything else from your company ever again. This is the worst company to buy from. You will be stuck with items that don't fit as described in their sizing chart. No refunds no matter what the case! STOP! DON'T! BUY!

I bought what looked like a cute dress. The sizing info was inaccurate and the material was a horrible polyester. I "submitted a ticket". The company responded saying since shipping was so expensive from North America, that they would compensate some how. I declined the offer and have repeatedly emailed them so I could return the item. ZERO response. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Now I'm stuck with a dress that smells like plastic and will likely disrupt my endocrine system if worn.

Very disappointed buyer! I got some clothes a couple of dresses, coat and sweater ---i look and the size chart and got my size. Beware to to small, the real sizes are not listed right. When i when to return them they are making my paid return shipping to china PLUS the only gave me a 60% refund out of my 165.oo i spend I waited 6 weeks for this oder to ship ands excited to receive new clothes... this is a rip off company. And there's no way to return them without losing a large portion of your money. Look great online, in fact, i take pictures of the stuff i like and have a seamstress make it for me in material that I pick. Total waste of money. Great website seems, ordering easy, until you get your product and don't like it. All the reviews are fake. Bad english, made up names... and all 5 star reviews, give me a break, do you think we are stupid Modlily?
Their clothes are poor quality, their communication is automated and incoherent and their return policy non-existent. You have to pay shipping and get only a small percentage back, if at all. I stopped trying to find out the return address (in China) or if the actually refund your credit card.
I purchased 8 items in early December and added expedited shipping that the website said would have me receiving my items in 5 days. I did not receive them in 5 days. I went to the website, could not talk to a customer service person, had to submit a service ticket. They took two days to get to me. The response was basically too bad so sad and that is when I learned they were in China. I finally got the items that I paid for 5 day shipping 26 days later. I ordered based on their sizing charts sweaters and tops for my grown up relatives and friends. The items were so small my 10 year old niece was wanting them. I went to the return policy. Apparently I had to put in another ticket. That was in the beginning of January. I am still waiting for the "permission" to return the items. I may just give the clothing to my 10 year old niece and just not bother. The items are adorable, I have to say that, but, the service is absolutely hands down the worst I have ever seen.
Do Not Purchase from them. WARNING I purchased 5 items... sizes way, way off. Ordered xxl, size that came was s/m. I had a girlfriend that wears a S come over and took pictures of her in the clothes and they fit her as evidence for a credit-card dispute I filed with my credit-card company against them. Arms were so long on one item, they went a good 5" past my fingertips. I'm 5'5. On the site it's all good reviews and says returns no problem. Truth, you're stuck with your purchase. They wrote back saying shipping is more than purchase. You have to ship back to China. They recommended giving the items away to a friend. The phone # is no good... you won't get a return call. Even my credit card co had no luck. For the good of consumers everywhere, don't order from them. Shut these people down.
In addition to their poor quality products, they have the worst customer service. They refuse to acknowledge my return request.
Ordered about $137 worth of clothing, everything was at least 1-2 sizes smaller even though I ordered the US sizing. Was going to cost $80 to return. Quality is not good. They told me to try and re-sell online as they would only give about 60% refund and the shipping costs were going to be $80. It's a write-off at this point. Donate and deduct for taxes is my only recourse now.

It took 2 1/2 months for my item to arrive with the help of pay pal which is ridiculous! Once I received the gift I ordered as a Christmas gift 2 1/2 months later, it is not as advertised. I do not recommend ordering from this company.
I ordered something in 11/18/2016 that has yet to arrive. Today is 2/1/2017. The order tracking tool said it was shipped on 11/21. This company is a complete scam. There is no way to cancel the order, you just have to wait for it to show up whenever the heck it decides to get here. I will NEVER order from them again.
Read reviews before buying anything from this company. Made in China, sizing is 2 to 3 sizes smaller than US sizing. They advertise 30 day return policy, you pay $20 to $30 to return to China which they do not reimburse! If you are lucky to return you will get maybe 60% refund. You cannot reach anyone in customer service, either by phone or email mail. I waited 6 weeks for merchandise that did not for, have been trying 5 weeks now to reach someone on how to return, no replies to either format. I then read reviews and saw the info that I mentioned previously, so aggravated. BUYER BEWARE. I checked BBB and as I do not know their main location, cannot report them. To be honest not sure if these positive comments are real customers( based on bad review comments) I gave up as it was taking up too much of my time so have shoddy merchandise and they have my money! Learned valuable lesson, read reviews first on these companies that say you are getting a good deal! PLEASE DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THIS NIGHTMARE OF A COMPANY!
Modlily ignores any requests for refund or exchanges; they will not provide a return address for shipping back their product (even when you say you are going to pay for shipping), and their clothes are cheap, cheap... cheaply made.
The Modlily web site "appears" to provide instructions for product returns, but it is an absolute sham.

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
