Very good site for information related to vintage mopeds. Not a welcoming space for bigots or homophobes. Generally, the only people who would be troubled to write a bad enough review are those who are roasted after tossing around a few slurs, like Michael Norris.
MA is a great site for people who love old mopeds. Moped by definition is MOtor/PEDal. That means they have pedals. Mopeds are not scooters, but if you have a cool vintage one, no one on the site will hassle you. However, they may heckle you if you have a Chinese scooter, because Moped Army is not a site that caters to Chinese scooters. But if your 40 year old Puch Maxi craps out on you, this is the place to go. You still might get heckled, but that's because most people who build and ride old mopeds are an eclectic bunch, because no "normal" people would take pleasure in riding, restoring, or rebuilding some slow, smokey, piece of junk moped. Moped Army is not a paid site, and the only sales are person to person, with a few respected vendors thrown in to keep us riding. So, to sum up, old moped, welcome. Chinese scooter, not so much.
