The company does not have the ability to make adjustments to orders. So if you order wrong size. You have to wait for them to ship to you. Feel out a return form and pay to ship it back to them. Then you can order correct size. Im just gone to order from amazon and get my money back.
We ordered on-line and before placing the order, we noted that there was a discrepancy between the price of several items on our purchase summary and the price on site. I called customer service & the agent agreed that it was a site error that could be corrected only after we made the purchase and submitted our receipt plus screenshot of accurate pricing. We did that and forwarded her email with our screenshot of correct prices & our receipt. Only about half of what was due was refunded. When I called, a different agent answered & stated that this was because we already had made use of the discount for $100+ sale even though the first agent had previously told us that this is a separate discount and both the sale and this $50 promotion could be used. Customer Service would not discuss this with the agent who originally gave us the info by phone and email about the refund and they would not adjust it further. At least if they talked to the original person it would have shown some interest in figuring this out, but they would not contact the original agent even though we have her name and other info. Never again with this store even though we like the clothing.
I had ordered some nursing bras from them after my first child was born, two years ago, and really liked them. Recently after my second child was born I ordered more of the same bras in the same size and they don't fit the same. I noticed that the fabric content has changed. They just aren't the same. The new ones are stretchier and they are too big.
I contacted them that I wasn't happy with the new bras and was told that I had to prove it. I needed to send a picture proving that the bras weren't what was promised online. I asked how I can send a picture of an elastic bra showing that it's different than before and they just said that I have to prove it. LOL. Prove that I don't like them? How about, if I liked them I would keep just keep them?
So, the ones that I haven't washed, that still have the original tags on they will let me return (I pay for shipping back), within the 30 day return window. How courteous of them. The few that I washed I will just have to 'eat it'.
They tell me I received them on Feb 5, so I have until March 5 to send them back. 30 days.
Only, that's not 30 days. There are 28 days in February, so the return window should be March 7.
They told me that they would grant me a "one time exception to the rule in this case only".
They are doing me a favor by actually allowing me the full 30 days (THEIR OWN RETURN POLICY, IN WRITING ON THEIR WEBSITE). But I still have to pay to ship them back because I couldn't prove anything was wrong with the fit with pictures. Seriously, WTF. This company has the worst customer service I have ever come across.
ALSO, I left a one star review on the their website that the bras ran large. And they deleted it. So, wonder why the bras have 4.9 stars in the reviews... they delete all reviews that are less than 4 stars.
Their clothes are cheap. Fabric sucks. I recommend you stay away!
The buyer has to pay full cost of any return shipping! There is no free or discounted cost to return products (e.g., $6.95 or $9.99 flat fee return). This is an outdated, inconvenient, and expensive policy.
There is also no return invoice where you can check off the product being returned. You have to hand write each item, the description, reason, etc. on a blank return form.
I am giving Motherhood Maternity 1 star because I can't review them without leaving a star; otherwise I would give them at best 1/2 a star. I placed an order on their website and paid for expedited shipping. It is now 2 WEEKS after the order was placed and the items still haven't been received. I have emailed and called multiple times. FINALLY today I received an email response telling me that they will issue me a store merchandise card to place the order again. When I tried to do so, it wouldn't allow me to do so. Again, I called their customer service number. Again, I held for almost 20 minutes; but this time the call hung up. When I tried to call back (multiple times) I got a recording telling me it was not a working number. At this poi8nt I doubt that the pj's will even get here before the baby is due in 2 weeks!
I like the quality in general, took a while to arrive to an extent that i thought they just scammed me, costumer service is the slowest i sent them two emails to which they replied one week before i got the order and after i received the order so don't put any hopes that they'll reply to you any soon
Having placed an order for two items on 29th November for Xmas gifts for my pregnant wife, I was advised several days later my order had shipped, followed by an email saying I was due a refund as only one item had been shipped. If I had been notified of this prior to shipping I would have cancelled the order as the items were a set! I was told by customer service the order couldn't be cancelled after shipping. In addition 3 weeks later the item has still not arrived. Terrible service and appalling customer service.
This is my first pregnancy, and I ordered a few maternity clothes from Motherhood. My order arrived today, and with it they included a complimentary baby bottle and all these gift cards! It was such a nice surprise! I started crying...(maybe that's just pregnancy hormones tho I can never tell if my tears are legit or not anymore) That little surprise aside, their clothes are soo cute and comfortable! I'm really impressed.
I've been waiting over 10 days for my order to even ship my daughter has had her baby and needs the nursing bras and pjs I ordered. They completely ignore me and when I called all I got was we will ship it as soon as we can but will not give you a date
Do not buy from here! All of the clothes did not fit comfortably! What is worse is it cost me $25 dollars to ship back! There are so many other places you can order from that has free returns! I will never order from here again.
Cheap material. Wrong sized things. Super bad and unhelpful customer support. Waste of money and time. I ordered 2 in size M. As shown on pictures the black is wayyy bigger. And they refused to return money and pay for the shipping.
I ordered on the 12th and got my full order on the 17th. Super fast shipping and very satisfied with everything! Everything is super cute and looks comfortable! I'm surprised to see negative reviews when I had such a positive experience!
I was very apprehensive purchasing online after reading all these negative reviews. Made a purchase anyways, received my order everything was perfect items as described no issues quality better than I expected. I only shop sale, besides that they had an additional discount and free shipping!
After receiving my order and a free gift I placed another order, will see how that one goes. Look forward to my new maternity overalls
Pretty sure this website is a scam. I made an order, never received the package. Package was marked as delivered but was never actually received. I contacted their customer support and was told to wait 10 days after the expected delivery date, which already seemed off. I waited the 10 days and contacted them for a resolution and was offered the option of a gift card. After waiting over a month for these items, I no longer needed them and asked for a refund but the support team have not responded at all and it's been over a week. Do not purchase from here.
This company is so blatantly not customer friendly, to the extent that they don't even pretend to be. I made an online purchase via their A Pea in the Pod brand's website, and I noticed a few days later that many of the items in my order were subsequently on sale. Thus I went to the "contact us" section of their website in efforts to find a phone number, and only found an online contact submission form. So, I filled it out requesting a price adjustment, submitted it and waited to hear back. A week or so later I hadn't heard anything back, but I was able to find a customer service phone number in my order shipping confirmation email I'd since gotten, so I called to inquire. At that point, they told me they had no record of me contacting them via their website and that I should have called or sent them an email from my email account so as to have a record of said contact, as they only honor price adjustments requests made within 7 days of ordering... Yep, that's a company that really wants to do right by the customer and earn my repeat business, clearly.
Additionally, one of the items from my order was a bit big at the time of purchase, but I decided to hang on to it for when I was farther along in my pregnancy assuming it would fit later. After two months, I decided it still wasn't going to fit even late in my pregnancy so called about a return, even if just for store credit. The item was $100, so I obviously didn't want that money to just go to waste, but I would have been happy to use the funds for some nursing bras or other items I'll end up needing anyway. So, I again called into their customer support team, only to be told they only offer 30 days for returns, even for store credit. Adding insult to injury, the agent noted they had been offering extensions for returns given Covid, but would no longer be doing so. Again, the response of a company that really wants to foster repeat customers.
Needless to say, I will never shop with them again. They more than deserve the bankruptcy situation they are in. Spend your dollars elsewhere.
I couldn't cancel my order 5 mins after placing it because they "use an automated system". Now have to pay for shipping and return shipping, thanks.
I purchased 4 maternity bras and never received them. I called the carrier fedex and motherhood maternity customer service, who promised a refund and 15 percent off my next purchase. Till date, I still haven't received my refund nor an email stating its in process. I have given up on calling them, I lost both yhe item (bras) and money... unfortunately.
With most of the Motherhood Maternity stores closing and Motherhood Maternity mostly online now, I wouldn't have thought I would have to pay for postage to return something. I spend almost $200 shopping Motherhood Maternity only to find out if I wanted to return something I could no longer return it to a store but instead I have to pay for postage through the post office. Why would I do that? I shouldn't be punished because something doesn't not look the same in person. To me that just seems like Motherhood Maternity could care less about me returning for business, which is what is going to happen. I will sell the shirt on Facebook market place and get my clothes else where.
I ordered online thinking that once quarantine/closures were lifted I would be able to return any incorrect sizes in store. I did not realize all stores had been closed and thus called customer service to request a return label, assuming shipping fees would then be deducted from my return. I was told prepaid labels are only provided for defective items, which surprised me. Companies are able to negotiate lower shipping rates than retail customers, so it's standard practice for any large corporation to provide return labels as a courtesy even if the cost for shipping is later deducted from the return.
I went to USPS to return the items and paid $10 to ship $30 worth of items back. I tracked the return and two weeks after the items were received I still didn't see a refund in my account. I called customer service again only to be told the refund amount could only be given on a gift card or a check even though I was well within their 30 day return window. It has now been 2 weeks since I requested a check to be sent and I haven't received anything. I will never order from this company again. I assume things were better when you had the option of buying/returning in store but online only is not working for them.
This company has horrendous customer service and is useless with returns. I placed a large order in March and was missing two items that I got charged for. I also had some returns that I sent back for store credit. The company never returned my emails to return the clothes I ordered for other sizes and never even accepted my return when I sent it back. I also got charged for two items that were missing from my order which is fraud. I understand covid happened but every other company I have dealt with during this crisis handled any returns or problems. I also find it interesting the company stated they were closed for covid so they were unable to accept my return but somehow they were able to ship out my products amid the crisis? Save your money and DO NOT Shop here. Also the clothes quality is also not what is advertised. I received several of their "new" clothes that looked worn and used. Save yourself time and you are better off getting new clothes on sale at a real maternity shop.
