This is a good way of getting big and small jobs done and it must be helpful for builders and associated trades who can organise their time better. Using reviewed builders makes it safer for everyone although you might need to check skilled people are part of their appropriate regulatory bodies too. All the people I have used have been great and the job has got done with the minimum fuss. The process is simple and straightforward. It's a good organisation.

I have used this site for the last year.
It started when I needed a quick quote and a job done fast but to a good standard.
Now I also use it for our Resident Company.

It provides a good base of different trades located around you, where ever you are, and you can check previous feedback on a tradesmen to put your mind at rest.

You also get a peace of mind that they were checked and all insured (if applicable).

I found this site very useful, and am keep coming back over and over again.

I was very pleased with the fast response from tradesmen for the job advertised. Had a visit and a quote within days and the work carried out was brilliant, and at a much better price than I had been quoted elsewhere. Would definitely use MyBuilder again - though most work would go to the tradesman employed on this occasion - only need to look elsewhere if it is something they could not do.

I used KB building services and would definitely recommend. Prompt responses to e mails and messages. Job completed quickly and efficiently, tidied all areas and took all rubbish away.

I found mybuilder a good way of getting tradesman in for work. I like how you can post the job and get people who know that they can fix it replying. You can view their feedback and pictures before agreeing to get the work done so it's safer than picking someone at random.

An ideal way to find a tradesman. We wanted someone to fit our laminate flooring. Flooring shops didn't want to quote only for labour and we were struggling to find someone to do it through the internet and yellow pages type websites. But with MyBuilder, we posted the job and a few hours later we had great offers from good tradesmen (100% positive reviews by other clients). We were very happy with the outcome and the price and from now on this will be the first place to look at when we need a builder/specialist!

I like this site because the tradespeople come to you rather than your having to ring round to find them. My experience with all the people I have hired has been positive. Messaging is simple and quick.

We are a loft conversion company thinking we would give my builder a try. To register and to supposedly test your knowledge they asked 10 questions as to what is involved in the work. The questions were so basic that anyone with even limited knowledge could answer them, not good when you are altering the structure of the property. No vetting no qualification check.
They email leads and you click if interested, if the customer short lists you And probably a few others My Builder charges you. Half the shortlist customers
Had no idea what they really want, others just want to pick your brain. You have no come back regarding the fee you've paid for time wasted leads. Take a tip
Better to spend the money in newspaper adds. At least you vet your own leads. All my builder cares about is getting your money not getting you work

Needed to find an electrician so decided to try my builder. Didn't have lots of replies, but the ones I did receive were able to help.
I would recommend using and I will definitely come back when I need another trade

I love the my builder site! It makes it so easy to find good reliable tradesmen, i have found a plumber, joiner, electrician, plasterer and tiler and have used them all on more than one occasion. Great site, definitely worth using!

We've used MyBuilder consistently since 2010, and have always found good, reliable tradesman at a fair price. Tradesman are very conscious of the fact that a bad review could adversely effect their rating and as a consequence their work.

Easy to use and best way to find a tradesman for anything! I never use anyone else especially when you don't have any contacts in any trade. Even if I had I would still trust this site more than personal recommendation.

I have used MyBuilder three times for different trades, carpentry, electrical and fitting flooring. Each time the website has helped in planning the work to be undertaken, getting the wording right to help tradespeople decide whether to quote, being able to see profiles of local tradespeople and their feedback before inviting them to quote.

I have felt in charge of the process throughout. My details, apart from postcode, are not shared with the tradespeople until I want them to quote.

Tradespeople on My Builder are also keen to keep their reputation for repeat work and good feedback is therefore important.

MyBuilder is very simple to use and covers more trades than I think I'd ever need! I've used it 5 or 6 times and always been very happy with the tradespeople I've used, who have been prompt polite and most importantly, very skilled. They've also charged me what I consider to be reasonable rates for the work carried out. I now use MyBuilder as the first port of call for any jobs I need doing.

Carl kept us informed at all times as to what was happening. He turned up as stated with his, very polite son (Chris) on time. The work carried out was just as we wanted it, and how we wanted it. Good job, well done. We're getting him back to do another job for us cos we was so impressed. Thank you very much.

I have used this website for the past 18 months. I had been project managing an extension (without having to use a building company). This is an excellent website to source local and highly recommended tradespeople. They all have done excellent jobs as per specification. I shall be using this website as my first port of call at any time.

Easy to use and had a reasonable choice of local tradesmen allowing you to see their profiles and most important previous customer reviews. Our builder did a fantastic job and we're extremely pleased with the result.

I have used My Builder 3 times up to now & have just posted another job. I like that you can read reviews of the tradespeople first it just makes me feel more comfortable before inviting someone I don't know in to my home.

I have been a member for 12 months and I can honestly say that my builder is a complete rip off and the only ones making money is them, you will often get shortlisted then charged and no contact from the job poster or a nice message to say sorry we have sorted the job now and you won't even get to price the job, its about time my builder was shut down and sued for making fictional customers, really bad company, please stay well away

Used My Builder recently relying on their professional recommendations with vetted professional tradesmen was found not to be true.The experience received from My builder after sending a complaint with their recommended Builder was appalling no feed to answer complaint has been received to justify the builders non professional skill and honesty to full fill quoted work in a trust worthy manor. After finding out other customers have also been effected with the same builder am surprised this builder is still recommended to gain further work.
