I went through mybiulder as I thought that only good tradesmen would be recommended The work carried out was of an extremely low standard and left me in an awful mess. The builder will not reply to my request to have the work corrected or to even issue me with a Damp Course certificate of the work he carried out.If these are the type of traders that come recommended by yourselves you should be ashamed.

I found using Mybuilder easy and handy when you don't know where to start. I was able to describe what I wanted with ease and they were able to supply several options quite quickly and easily. Once more giving a guide on what to look for and the price; I found invaluable. I will continue to use them in future.

Walter and his son of Cammy Decorators have just completed painting my deck and various other areas on the outside of my property and have done an amazing job under difficult circumstances weatherwise! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a 1st Class painting job. They were dependable and reliable and kept me informed every step of the way.

This is an amazing platform giving a wide range of professionals. Even though it makes it hard to choose, it is yet a good thing to have so many options available. There is also a fast response procedure meaning you can get someone even on an emergency level.

The traders work hard but whenever we have a shortlisted from the client and have not selected by client for work, we still need to pay the shortlisted fee which doesn't make sense! Mybuilder is greedy monster company as hell. $#*! company shortlisted rule. I will never use it again as a trader.

The best site for finding experienced tradesmen. I have used companies that provide a range of services before and they just get the cheapest person to you for the highest price. Not so with mybuilder.com. If you're super cautious go for someone with lots of reviews and 100% positive feedback.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for services like this now!

I found an excellent Carpet Fitter on My Builder.com. He worked under difficult circumstances with the Removal men bringing in the furniture at the same time, but he listened to what I wanted and completed the sitting room first, then the main bedroom, 2nd bedroom and lastly the hallway. He did an excellent job and I can highly recommend My Builder.com to find the person you need for your job.

Just post your job and short list traders after reading reviews and going looking on there web site if they have one, i did not short list anyone who had not got one, just personal preference and wait to be contacted agree a time to look and quote for your job then pick one trader to do the work you don't have too contact the others who you asked to quote my builder will do that for you. I have used the site before and will use again without doubt if a professional needs to hired. I have also told work colleagues about my builder already i posted a job for a bathroom refit and submitted my feedback for the trader i hired who i have nothing but praise for.so to sum up, all i can say is its a very easy site to use is my builder

The feedback from users is also very useful and helpful.

Great couple of guys did the job in a day. Very happy with the service. Removed old wooden posts and fence. Replaced with concrete posts and gravel boards worked fast and hard in the rain to get the job done.

I've been really glad to find mybuilder.com, it has helped me access some really good quality tradespeople who are keen to work and do a good job. I moved to a totally new part of UK a few years back and lost all my local contacts and knowledge of who is good and who is not. My builder enabled me to hire people with good ratings and feel more confident than just taking a wild guess. I fully intend to keep using mybuilder, and I hope I never come unstuck with it!

I have used MyBuilder for three jobs and have had excellent results each time. The site is easy to use, and particularly useful if you are new to an area or don't have a local recommendation. The customer reviews are extremely helpful, allowing you to make an informed decision about who you want to invite to quote, although obviously you still need to get multiple quotes. All the tradesmen I have sourced through this site have have done an excellent job in a very professional manner and I will definnitely continue to use this site in future.

I have used the site a few times in the past couple of years for Electricians and Plumbers. I have always had a tremendous response and got the jobs expertly done at a fair price. If you are like me and shudder at the thought of house repairs get yourself on this site, you won't regret it.

Ive had my own building company for 40 years and I help women learn a trade and when they feel ready they go out alone. Now I've suggested companies like Checkatrade and rated but with my builder they never get accepted now this is not the first time a women trade been rejected from my builder. I've been there when doing the my builder test answer question but the next day told sorry you're application not accepted … why she answered the question right so it only makes me feel that they are against women in the trade no other answer that I can think of.

I have used the services of tradesmen sourced from My Builder many times already. I have always been very happy with the work carried out. My advice: take your time selecting the right person for the work you need. I have been reading the feedback from previous customers and, based on my impressions, I chose the professional. Excellent service every time. They are always my first option.

I have posted numerous jobs on My Builder to date and, what i love about it is that you post your job ad jest sit back and wait for the replies and quotes to come in.

Straight forward and easy to follow, place your job ad, then wait for traders to show an interest you can then read their reviews experience etc before choosing who you would like to quote. Then simply make an arrangement with them to come and view and give you a quote, when you've decided who to accept confirm starting times etc with them. Simple!

I found a person to do the job who was very professional, friendly and done the job to the best standard. In the past I have had bad experiences with self employed people who only look on how to make money without any consideration for the actual job and as a result, the corners were cut. On this occasion I am very pleased.

I have had two jobs done recently by tradesmen contacted via this site. Firstly the repair of a close boarded fence section. Secondly the replacement of a broken curtain rail. In the latter case it was urgent being a bedroom rail and the person came promptly as I had already purchased a replacement. It looks O. K. and unlikely to fall down! The fence repair took sometime to be done but it was windy and the two workmen were shy of doing it in the wind. In the end a good job was done, not just my opinion but that of a person who had a fencing business. It does seem that persons on this site are good at their job and not too expensive.

We have used "mybuilder" twice to find tradesmen. Firstly we needed a dormer recladding with associated necessary bits and pieces, secondly we needed a garden wall demolishing and rebuilding. In both instances we had several replies and were 100% satisfied with the guys we chose to do the work. Excellent site for finding a tradesman with. Plenty of details and reviews for comparison. Will use again in the future if any further work is required.

I have used the site multiple times for jobs around the home (and outside) that I couldn't do or fix myself. Each time I've posted a job, the trades have come to me rather than me doing all of the hard work and chasing. Everyone is vetted on the site and every time I've had someone come out (today being the latest for an external paint job), the work has been top notch and great value. I highly recommend this site.

1st time user. Quick replies to advert and found the best people for the job. Arrived at stated time and quickly sorted the problem, for the agreed price. Would have them again also would recommend My Builder if you're looking for good trades people at a competitive price.

I always use mybuilder if I am looking to get some work done and need a tradesman. You can post details of the job required with photos. Interested tradesman then get in touch to quote you for the work. Each tradesman has feedback and a corresponding score to help you when deciding on which tradesman to accept.

Up to now, I have not been disappointed with those that I have taken on to do the work through mybuilder.
