My builder is a rip off tie tradesman. Great for the customer as all they see is "it's free"! Not for tradesman that pay for leads that doesn't even guarantee the job.
For example small jobs that a tradesman can only charge £20 at the most, mybuilder.com ask for £4 plus vat. Now for the tradesman to travel and do the job then pay mybuilder.com price plus vat really isn't worth a fart for a tradesman that would normally happily help out and do it at a reasonable price.
Ok mybuilder say they've done the advertising leg work for you but they price the leads way off! Especially when the job poster doesn't explain the job properly.
It's cost me hundreds on leads from meeting with customers that have changed their minds sunce and actually don't want the job doing any more.
Definitely not worth the cost in my opinion.

I have uses my builder for several tradesmen from garden work to odd jobs about the house. I would highly recommend this site. I trust my builder and the tradesmen who advertise on there. It's quick and easy to find a tradesman and to review feedback left by others who have used them. The feedback system gives peace of mind when choosing to hire a tradesman. I wouldn't go anywhere else to find a recommended tradesmen. Love this site and I've had only positive experiences.

I have used My builder for several jobs around my properties.

The tradesman have always done a satisfactory job and the process has been very easy.

I had just advertise the job, get several quotes, look at the feedback and hire. It is difficult to find reputable companies and my builder takes away the stress of finding someone.

The people on the site need good reviews in order to grow there business so you get a good quality of tradesman.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the site

They clearly let to register businesses by sympathy not by the correct answers. Did try to register many times, and they sent an email with failed, but no explanation! We're sure we passed the questionnaire as we have over 10+ years experience! They are just radilicous!

Trevor Messenger and his young helper did a fantastic job retailed the shower area and fitted the shower in a very short time a very tidy workman cleared away everything and left the house clean and tidy A+++++

This site is fantastic for me. I am a Landlady and am always looking for professional, reliable tradesmen for a variety of jobs (sometimes at short notice). I like the fact that you can choose who to invite to quote for jobs, without the hassle of tradesmen phoning me without an invite. I study all the reviews before I accept a tradesman to quote. This gives me confidence that a particular tradesman works to a high standard and is reliable. I have found a good few tradesmen on this site who I will definitely use again. I really don't know how I managed without using this site before - genius idea!

As a builder this is poor, this company clearly makes money off us bidding. Great idea allowing so many to bid on a job with no real chance of winning work. Best to get work yourself and stick with your clients. If you want to keep buying jobs with no way of really winning some Jobs this site is for you. It will charge you even if you don't get the Job

The guys at mybuilder.com are really greedy and out to make money for them selves. They do not vet the builders which means you can be employing incompetent people. They are very quick at asking for money but not very willing to help. Totally useless and a bad service. Would not recommend them.

I am a tradesman as Gas Safe registered engineer. My Builder makes money by charging shortlist to tradesman. The job worth £100 the shortlist fee is £5. If there are 5 tradesman supplied the quote and if customer select all 5 of them then all 5 tradesman will be charged £5 wether you get the job or not. As a tradesman you will be invoice for £5 but you have now no job but still you to pay for it as customer shortlisted you. So my builder would make £25 from tradesman a job costing not more than £100. This is recently i experienced. I think this company is not doing legitimate business conning the tradesman who work hard to earn money. On the other hand making customer write positve feedback about the company. I request tradesman be very careful when opting for leads which may surprised you with fat invoice.

The site is easily accessible. The spec for each tradesman is clear and concise. Being able to review other users experiences of the tradesmen is extremely helpful too. I have used the site on 3 occasions for differing jobs and have never had a negative experience. I would recommend this site to others.

Having bought a house in need of some TLC last year have used MyBuilder to find both a good plumber and electrician. Adverting a job is easy and within a few hours had interested tradesmen, a few messages and phone calls and all arranged. Supports local companies and helps the good guys and avoids falling for cowboys.

I have used My Builder.com on three occasions so far this year and found this was the easiest and most convenient way to find tradesmen for the jobs I required doing rather than having to look on Yell.com or in my local newspaper or trade guide to locate tradesmen and then to have to ring them and wait for them to visit my home in most instances before quoting for a job.
I will not hesitate to use this site again for future jobs I require doing.

Perfect service. I would always use them. Quick, efficient and well-qualified. Excellent service. I was always seeking maintenance work on my house and My Builder solved the problem. I have introduced it to friends. It is good to get quotes from artisans who live near to my postcode.

This site seems to locate the sort of tradesmen people seek. I found that those I chose (and not all jobs got a response) were very good. Be sure to check feedback as I do not know if the site vets there tradesmen to appear on the site.

MyBuilder is unwilling to take down unfair, fake feedback from clients who use this as a tool to get out of paying tradesmen. The very tradesmen who earn them their money! Consequently, the better tradesmen use other sites not MyBuilder

I have been using mybuilder for the last 18 months and have had several jobs and large renovations done on my house using tradesmen found through this website. The tradesmen I found have been fantastic, provided a reliable and professional high quality service at reasonable prices. Don't know what I would have done without using this website!
Would recommend it to anyone in need of any kind of tradesman.

I have used my build several times, it is the first site i visit when i need a job doing. And in my experience i have not had a negative experience yet, all the tradesman i have used have been polite courteous and knowledgeable about there trade.The fact you can read the reviews from other customers is a great help also.

Used mybuilder to obtain workmen for numerous house renovation jobs required on my fathers home (He is 87 and it required thoughtful, helpful and flexible workmen).

All of the builders I found on mybuilder were brilliant. The work carried out was first class and the workmen were all courteous, polite and helpful to my Dad.

Would recommend the site to anyone and everyone.

My experiences with My Builder.com have all been positive so far.

To date I have had a complete bathroom refit and replaced my parent's boiler and central heating system plus a garage roof re felt. All 3 jobs have gone smoothly and to my satisfaction thanks to My Builder. Com.

I've been really pleased with this site; it's very easy to use and enables me to communicate with relevant tradesman.
I've been able to see other peoples' reviews and experiences, and then meet and obtain estimates before committing to a specific company.
Now I would use this site before embarking on any project that would require a professional.

Be aware of this company,I made account with,my builder, got message,to react on jobs,I showed intrest on one job,in response i person send me number, when called person never responded and after 1 week had to pay £25to my builder.
Such a scam,never try it as abuilder if you are looking for work

Outstanding job completed and weeks later still looks as good as new. As new to area wonderful to find a service as reliable as My Builder and would use them again when needed. Tradesman excellent and left the place spotless what more could you ask. Thank you My builder. I am happy to recommend My builder.

I am very, very pleased with the work Lee has done. My garden was going to rack and ruin and he is doing a good job of clearing it and getting it back to normal. He is very professional and polite. Nothing is too much for him.
