I live in Michigan. From 2012 - 2019 (until COVID-19) I've ordered JR passes through NTA for groups of students and for myself. It was always a positive experience. The staff at NTA have always been great to work with, but I wish the company would allow more carrier options. FedEx delivered my JRpass to another house yesterday. It was a terrible experience. I had no idea where my package was delivered or how to contact FedEx. Thankfully I had NTA Gardena's phone number. When I called they offered to cancel the lost pass and send me a replacement by a different carrier. It was kind of them to help me. I appreciate it, as this is my final trip to Japan.

I just returned from Japan using the two JR passes I purchased here and everything worked out fine. There are multiple websites selling this and I was concerned of fake products. No issue here. An added benefit of using JR pass is to avoid the long lines and go straight to the platform to board the train. The only time you need to line up is to get seat assignment on Shinkensen. It is still a good idea to get designated seats as we did see one time the undesignated trains were full with people standing. But there was also this one time when we would have missed the Shinkensen if we had to wait in line.
Very Quick and Efficient. My Credit Card is somewhat sensitive to potential fraud and initially declined the charge. When I immediatly responded, that YES this was my intended purchase, I re-selected check-out / purchase and it went through. I was a bit surprised then, that you required US DL pics to validate the purchase. A minor bump. I wish JR Pass offered an 8,9 or 10 day pass. 7 day is one day short for our trip!

Our flights were cancelled by Singapore Airlines due to covid, and JRPass refused to waive the standard 15% penalty fee. For us, that was over $100. We were shocked! All our airlines and hotels automatically credited us with no cancellation fees at all. This is the ONLY company that refuses to waive fees for something that the customer has no control of at all. Shame on them.!

Everything was laid out very well. I would suggest putting something about how quick you can mail the Exchange Order (Not the pass) to the customer, Explain Debit cards are not acceptable. Error messages should be more prominent.
Explain that you will get an "Exchange Order" that you will need to use and show passport upon arrival in Japan.
It is not exactly clear that I will be able to use this pass on most all Tokyo area local trains and hopefully some local buses in the Tokyo Yokohama area.
I called office number before I purchase the, initially just come to buy it but the representative suggested to purchase online and get the confirmation details before i come. The online process is pretty easy, and i received an pending email after purchased. The only thing confused me is second email indicated they received the payment and attached with pick up location. So i went straight to the office and check the email again realized there is a link "check your order status", when I click on it showed your order is waiting to fulfill. I was worried at least because drive all the way that far but didn't see this before. When i arrived the office entrance, there is a list of number to call for different purpose. I dial the "JR Pass" pick up line and left a voice, just a short wait a lady came to bring me our JR Pass, that makes me a very happy customer!
It was easy to order my JR Pass exchanges with NTA using their website myjrpass.com. They arrived in just a couple of days as promised. The price including the shipping was the best deal I found on the web. Would definitely recommend. Thanks!
Shop around! I really appreciated that this vendor does NOT charge extra hidden fees at the last minute, or promise free overnight and then charges for it. I ordered FedEx 2 day and it was only $10 extra - hope it arrives on time!
Update: I ordered it 2 day on a Saturday, so it went out on Monday. I received it on Wednesday, so it was indeed 2 days. The only thing that would have been nice is to get a tracking number just so I could see that it was on its way, but other than that, I have no complaints!
Fast service. Great price. Used USPS Priority Mail. USPS sent my order CA. To FL., then back to CA. This caused a two day delay. Suggest using Fed Ex only. Contacted Linda at MYJRPASS about the delay. She was very helpful and courteous. A very efficient and professional service.
I have not yet received the Japan Rail passes. They are expected Monday. The website was easy to navigate and I was able to place the order with no problems. The follow-up after I placed the order was very quick and the orders were shipped.
So far the shopping experience has been excellent.
I placed my order on Thursday and I received my jr pass on Monday and the price is definitely cheaper than other website. I am glad I found this website. Excellent service highly recommend.

I thought there was to be a booklet with rail pass use tips included, but it was not.
Otherwise, process is fine.
The pamphlet with guides on the trains I can and cannot use and where to exchange the ticket was unexpected and very helpful
