After trying to buy the JR Pass from the official website for two weeks, i finally called the Nippon Travel Agency and they directed me to their website where i purchased the JR Pass and it was delivered just a few days before my trip to Japan. Thank you!
I live in Michigan. From 2012 - 2019 (until COVID-19) I've ordered JR passes through NTA for groups of students and for myself. It was always a positive experience. The staff at NTA have always been great to work with, but I wish the company would allow more carrier options. FedEx delivered my JRpass to another house yesterday. It was a terrible experience. I had no idea where my package was delivered or how to contact FedEx. Thankfully I had NTA Gardena's phone number. When I called they offered to cancel the lost pass and send me a replacement by a different carrier. It was kind of them to help me. I appreciate it, as this is my final trip to Japan.
Many JR Japan Train passes to choose from online. So which one do you choose? Price is a factor and MYJRpass gives you the best price. They are also located in the United States. They are a true company that will answer their phones. They have a 800 # to call. They are local to me in California. I was buying two passes for my great nephew and I. So I placed two in the cart and forgot to add the mailing and MYJRPASS caught in time so there would be no delay. They customer service was top notch.
I will give them a five on TripAdvisor. The Japan train passes are confusing along with the many option a person can choose from in Japan. MYJRPASS clears up needed issues. They are a great company.
The online ordering was very easy and quick. Delivery of voucher was prompt and received as expected.
I had absolutely no problems with the actual ordering / delivery of my JR Rail Pass. The only difficulty I see is that google searches for JR passes tend to place other (non-US) based travel agencies at the top of the results so It took me a little extra time to find one based out of the US. I'm looking forward to my trip next month.

All the agents I talked to at NTA America were very helpful, especially Konomi and Noriko. The NTA website was easy to navigate. The only negative part was that NTA did not offer any Japan travel guide book which I saw from another JRPass vendor.

Miyuki told me that I would receive my JR Pass on Wednesday if I placed the order on Saturday. I came home on Tuesday afternoon and the FedEx envelope containing the pass was waiting for me at my front door. The service that I received from them are the best I have experienced comparing to another company who told me that, "I have another call and I have to answer that. Call back if you have additional questions." I will NEVER EVER use that company and I will tell people about that company too. I will refer people to myjrpass.com from now on. Thanks again.
