“Worthwhile”

Agens S.
11/22/19

While the information is not always accurate, this site is critical for those of you who are on dating sites. You can corroborate much information to determine their truthfulness. You can get their most recent address in 95 percent of the cases and other cities and states in which they have lived. You can, more importantly, find out if they have any criminal offenses. I was about to meet a guy who had several... one for theft over $1000. Needless to say, I stopped communicating with him. I also found MYSELF... and the bankruptcy I filed decades ago. That didn't please me but it is what it is. The guy I'm dating now has NO criminal records, NO liens, No nothing. I feel safe. This site to me was worth the money I paid for 6 months.

Several people who have had their SIM card hacked within their phone and smart tv's has seen their stolen personal information on this.site.and then see their income tweeted job titles exaggerated truth mixes with lies on this site. Its no wonder why peoples credit card number gets stolen and little to no information found for the person that their seeking info on. Dnt pay these people anything and bc they are trying to make money off of their scamming stalking people and hoping that the victims will pay them to take the fake/ mixed with wee bit truth. I have nothing to gain reporting they s nor to loose. Keep yr money and beware that all these crooks need from you is attention to their site. Sure looks legit sure sure it does. That's part of their charm. Ava n don't be fooled and bc even my information after my SIM card was hijacked ended up on this sit.

Tried the $1 trial and next thing you know they charge me $74.95. I contacted them and they said they'd give me a refund and then charged me $14.95. So for now I lost almost $90. I will update if I'm given a refund since I've seen reviews saying they got their money back or not. This business gotta go.

Reflects information that is completely inaccurate when doing a cursory search. This is "bait" that gets the person doing the search (typically someone searching on themselves) to sign up to find out the bad news. My search shows I have a criminal history. Anyone with a criminal history already has their case available in county or state public records and they are free from the county or state websites! So this is a waste. Don't trust them. They do shoddy and unethical work. They will be done soon.

They're actually quite fast over the phone. Be sure you have your full name, current address, and one previous address in order to remove yourself.

Same story: charging for more than we expected. Called them and threatened them I would dispute charges with CC. They offered 6 mo refund on yearly subscription. I pushed harder and had them reverse all charges. Too soon to see if they followed through. Total Scumbags.

I signed up thinking I can try it out the first month for $9.99 per month for 12 month. And these freaking people charge my account for the whole 12 month. Who does that kind of crap.? Dishonest web site probably all the workers are dishonest them self. Man im so mad at my self for signing up. The information that they had about what i was looking for is nothing like it shows when you want to try it out. Its all a scam you can probably research the information yourself using free sites... Don't sign up.!

They create sensational captions like "So-and-so has court or arrest records!" for pretty much everyone they gather data on. This is to scam people who search themselves into buying a subscription to correct the information. We need to start a class action and sue them for libel. What they do HAS to be illegal, and if it isn't, it sure should be.

I have repeatedly asked this company to remove my name and info from their website for two months now to no avail. Even with the Better Business Bureau's involvement they still refuse to. They say they can't find my name on their site, but it is clearly visible. I have filed complaints with the various California consumer help agencies and the Federal Trade Commission today. If anybody has this same problem with this company this would be a good start to get it removed and possibly get them fined and punished for this doing this.

I googled myself one day and a bunch of inaccurate information came up on this site about myself. The first time I called I waited in que for over an hour. After reaching "next in line" I was disconnected. I called back later that day thinking it was an accidental error to have been hung up on and after waiting another hour the call was disconnected again. I called back another day when they first opened and held in line for 1.5 hours on the phone with the recording saying I was number 1 in line only to be disconnected again. Then reached out in email and never got a response. Then researched this company and am seeing that there is a class action lawsuit in place against this company for fraud. Beware this company is not legit. No one should buy into their claims. Don't waste your time they are fraudulent!

I looked at the info they had on me and determined that some of it is for two men in the city I live in who have the same first and last name as me, but different middle names. Moreover, the information about me is so old that among other things it has the wrong area code, one that ceased to serve my city more than fifteen years ago!

I don't know who these people are but they put public information up about me and asking me to pay to take it down. They put searches on child-hood friends I want nothing to do with making me out to be some sick stalker, asking me to review people I've not seen in decades. Wish everyone at this company would either leave me alone or die in a fire.

This website is full of crap. Because of scammers, I have used an alternative identity (as in "fake person") when signing up for certain websites. There is zero reason then, that this website can give me threatening emails stating that they have found negative marks on my identity. They are a scam.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use.

They make other charges on your credit card and then disconnect when you call their numbers to cancel (after holding for ~30 minutes giving constant updates on your number in the queue and random estimates on time to reach a person).

Quite a slick operation.

It looks like they get personal informations from internet that everyone can access. In addition, there are information that are not even the truth. My statement is based on checking myself and my brother. I am surprised that they still exist?

Crap website, you pay a separate fee for each small feature and then you don't get any real profiles on anyone. If you change your name you still get the same results of people who searched for you, how is this possible unless it is just a scam. Then even if you just pay for a set prescription, they automatically start charging your card at a higher rate in advance for every month after that. Total scam. Dont waste your money like I did!

Really lame bait and switch type website. They suck you in saying you can create a free account but you can't really do anything with the free version. Then they barrage you with premium upgrade offers. Dont they get it. Why would i want to pay a premium when their free service is so bad! Either offer quality free content or dont, but don't mislead people. I will never do business with them just because of their deceptive marketing!

You get all these "come-on" phrases: find out who has been searching for you. You have a criminal record. Ha ha. This is all crap. The job data, family data etc on me was almost entirely wrong. The criminal record turned out to be a 25 year old traffic ticket, and they way overstated the number of people looking for me.
Don't waste your money or your time with this.

Their site said it was $14.95 per month but my credit card statement had two charges of $14.95 show up on my account. Their customer service said they offer two separate services. Their site did not explain this. Plus, their service sucks, very little information. I got a lot more info for way less on Whitepages premium.

Half of my information is incorrect and my "reputation" score is worse than a child molester. I do work at my church which requires a background check. I think I'm good. Also, upon further investigation, this site was sued in 2011 for false information and making you pay to give you a fake list of names of people searching you. Total scam.

MyLife is nothing but a scam. Look up your info. Mine has very very little that is accurate (birthdate, bankruptcy, middle initial, some of the places I've lived etc. but they do have some of my jobs and job titles correct. It is garbage and they know it but want to charge you to clean up the data. Don't do it! Once they have your corrected info and bank account, you have opened yourself up to a lot more issues. They are scum and should be shutdown. Why does our Government step in here?

Tip for consumers:
Don't do it. Its inaccurate and for the love of money don't send them any $$ to correct bogus info. You'll regret it.

This website wants you to pay to look yourself up and often has inaccurate information on you. I honestly don't trust them. They said I know 6 people who I have never met in my life plus they keep threatening me with a bad reputation score despite the fact I have a clean record all around; no unpaid debts, no criminal record, no tickets and a decent credit score. I would never use this website since apparently Mcafee has a hand in this site and that company has a troublesome reputation to say the least. I really think this website needs to be shutdown for financial extortion, slander and privacy violations.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site at all costs

I signed up for this carp. At the end after entering my card details I selected the option for a week trial that was supposed to only be $1.00. Long behold after clicking continue with special offer, my card was chard $83 instead of a $1.00. Call customer care to resolve the issue and they refuse to give me my money back. They have their website set to where whatever you click on they will still charge you full year subscription. To anyone. Wanting to sign up with this fraudulent scam site turn around now. Your gonna get robbed! If they had a option to give them a 0 I would give them a zero!

Anyone else notice how the most successful people seem to have the worst scores & the most needs verified supposed information? No coincidence that those are also the people who can afford the fees requested when you click on any leading info that first pops up? It's worth a search on the most successful people that you know before you become too alarmed. There is little to no fact behind these MyLife reviews.

My life buys personal info. It is a company who is profiting from private info. The info they buy was not provided by the individual to be sold. It solely was to purchase or make inquiry and despite what these sites say they are profiting form your personal details Does Jeffrey tinsley ceo have his home address and phone listed. Does any employee of my life list their private addresses and phone number

First of all most of the information is wrong! I found that 11 out of 13 relatives listed I don't even know! It shows misinformation about me, my emails, law suits. I paid the $1 for 1 day to look up some information on some people for our company and found that this outfit charged me for a day plus a month's subscription. I am going to get my bank after them once the bank opens today.

I came across the site mistakenly and found my information. My families information as well. Most of the info listed is incorrect accept my home address and relatives names. I have a restraining order against my dangerous psycho path ex-husband who I'm now afraid will find me and kill me and my family. I contacted the site and informed them of this, and the representative kept trying to sell, me a plan, when I haven't sign up for this site in the first place. So just letting the public know if I end up dead it will be this sites fault.
