“Worthwhile”

Agens S.
11/22/19

While the information is not always accurate, this site is critical for those of you who are on dating sites. You can corroborate much information to determine their truthfulness. You can get their most recent address in 95 percent of the cases and other cities and states in which they have lived. You can, more importantly, find out if they have any criminal offenses. I was about to meet a guy who had several... one for theft over $1000. Needless to say, I stopped communicating with him. I also found MYSELF... and the bankruptcy I filed decades ago. That didn't please me but it is what it is. The guy I'm dating now has NO criminal records, NO liens, No nothing. I feel safe. This site to me was worth the money I paid for 6 months.

If you like phoney information and want to pay for it this place is for you.
They sent me years ago offer to join to see info they had on me. I thought I would see if the info was correct by giving them phoney information.
After that they said they found damaging information on me. Now I needed to join and pay them to correct this information. Why would I join a outfit that obviously lies and has no information on my phoney person I made up. To this day years later they keep sending me information that they have damaging information. The only thing I gave them that was true was one of my emails. Please join them and just try and get away from them in the future. If you are lonely and just like your email in box full of nonsense join them now. See emails I get all the time. Dennis Smith is a made up name at a made up address. But they have lots of information on that made up name. Lol

Tip for consumers:
Do not join.

Creepy. I saw about 50 more people with my same name, date of birth and people that I knew! I put my pic on there but I think I am going to remove my profile. Plus I heard it is a scam to get you out of your money! They're not getting my pennies! Ha ha

What a complete scam. After months of trying to get incorrect, inaccurate and false information off of my account, I have finally given up. They do not fix any information nor do they respond to requests.

These people keep sending me emails and this crap doesn't pertain to me period. I never lived worked or played in any parts of the country where they have me listed. I never heard of the people they have me associated with. By law, the information they have cannot be used for anything other than entertainment purposes only.

When I called for a refund the lady refuse to send me a notice of my refund, she sent a letter about the services I signed up for. I called back and spoke to a manager I had my money the next day... I think it's bad how they mislead you to think something is negative on your record

This is a total scam. It's like "yelp" for people, but dirty. I paid to have wrong information about my mother taken off the website and a year later it was back up again. My information is incorrect too... stating I have a criminal background. How lovely. This is cruel. How dare you make people pay to have this crap taken down in the first place - and then post it back up again?

Total rip off. Signed up for 1 month plan, ran a background report which was filled with errors. Tried to run mine and was taken to another billing page. Tried running another family members report and again taken to another billing page. Called customer support and was told that for another report there would be another charge. Cancelled account and will never use them again. My fault for not reading the users agreement and fine print.

I have started a petition asking for MyLife to be completely shut down. You can read my story and sign the petition at http://www.thepetitionsite.com/557/560/063/shut-down-mylife.com-fraudulent-and-deceptive-billing-practices/

I need all the signatures I can get. The letter will be sent out to 19 different places - news media, state representatives and senators, attorney general, and consumer agencies. I am also asking for an in-depth investigation of Jeff Tinsley, CEO.

I received a notice that someone had viewed me on Mylife and I could see what they saw. They gave me a poor score. I am a Mother with two very successful sons. One is the Chief of Police in a large city. They got my income wrong. There wasn't much there to see. Whoever, I suspect it is the contractor who came to my town who is a storm chasing con artist, who is mad at me for my one star reviews, didn't get his money's worth.

I did a google search on myself, and a profile appeared from MyLife.com. It was filled with lies and slander. The report even said I had an arrest record, when I have never been arrested before in my life. The profile also gave the address of my home, and my cell phone number. Apparently I have to join, and pay a fee in order to correct the slander. Google, equally responsible for allowing doxing on their search engines, is of no help. Google says you must go to the owner of the company slandering you, and have them take their site off. The Government really needs to intervene and regulate Google and prosecute malicious sites like MyLife.com.

Strings you on while "looking for documents" for 5 minutes than makes you enter your personal info. ONLY after this do they hit you with the "premium subscription" horse$#*! we've all come to know and loathe. Don't waste your time with this trash website and the scummy people who "run" it.

Someone is tampering with my profile on mylife.com. If you look me up, you will find a photo that I did not put in there. It is a photo of a guy holding his arms and hands to look like he is shooting at the viewer. Before that, it was a guy kissing a baby's head. It took a 30 min call to clear that up. Seems someone's other profile was reflecting thru mine. They did not clear up someone else's access. Before that it was a photo of a black guy holding his hand in a peace sign at the viewer. I am not black and I am not a guy. My profile also had my places of residence, relatives and other information altered without my knowledge or consent. If someone can chronically get into my account, after repeated efforts to clear it up, no one is safe from the same thing. Beware of what you open your life to - it shouldn't be mylife.com

I signed up for a $1 8-day trial simply to check information on my online profile. The confirmation email said NOTHING about auto-renewal. 5-days later they post an $85 pending charge on my credit card. I try to deactivate the account, and there's no way to do so online. I call to deactivate it, and they, of course, try to sell me more services. When I asked if I could simply deactivate the account immediately, they got nasty.

These jackasses are just scammers and sub-humans. They sent a scare-tactic laden email to an elderly neighbor of mine and he called me to help him. I told him to stay away from them, just put any and every thing then send into the JUNK file. I then notified the FTC and the FBI. They have been known by at least 3 other names, and when a company changes their name 3+ times in 12 yrs. There is something VERY wrong. OH, just know that the information they are referring to, is information that is out there even if you have never used a computer, never been online. The white pages and yellow pages of the phone books are online, and that should tell you something; There is always some con-artist out there and as soon as one goes down, there are thousands more to take their place.

Tip for consumers:
Don't reply, don't unsubscribe (when you do, you verify that there is indeed a person with the email address and name they are fishing for), just junk it, and, if you feel like it, inform the FTC and the FBI (I know from personnel experience that both go after these jerks!) Be safe people :)

I was curious about an old friend. I googled the name and mylife.com came up first in the search. I hadn't realized this site was actually requesting a Background Search on person for $$$/credit card info. At the end, when a ridiculous amount of money was requested, I closed out of site without entering any credit card info. Two seconds later I received an e-mail congratulating me on joining mylife.com although I didn't complete the credit card section. I immediately called customer service to have account closed. STAY AWAY! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

I started doing some research on this company after googling myself and finding inaccurate and damaging information. I am a healthcare worker and business owner. They are saying I have a criminal record and I don't. This is extremely damaging. They also have two different ages for me, addresses I've never lived at and my x husband who died 14 years ago is apparently now 67 years old and living at my old address. This company and all of it's employees are truly disgusting

Stumbled upon Mylife.com when searching for an address of a potential customer. Out of curiosity I entered my own name - my profile showed I had a been incarcerated / criminal record and the only way I was going to find out the information was to join there website. I am a business owner in the security industry the last thing I need is for one of my customers seeing a bogus claim that I have a criminal record.
I contacted them and had them remove my profile on their website. Out right FRAUD! -

Every time I asked for an extended report a screen came up and asked me for more money when I already had an account. I e-mailed them to fix the problem. Never received anything back and the problem continued. When I cancelled the account, boy did I get e-mails. Not worth the hassle. Don't even bother with this company.

They charge you 1.00 for a free trial but then when you cancel it it doesn't really cancel it so then they renew the subscription which is unauthorized. I was charged 99.90! When I call he refused to give me a refund. I told him that he's a scam artist and is stealing money. I told him I wanted to delete my account and to give me my money back. He argued with me and won't give me the full amount they stole! I only got 78.00 back from this site! Do not waste your money. This site is so full of crap! They will STEAL your money. A bunch of scam artists! If you must give in and do so to get your totally inaccurate information use a prepaid card. You've been warned. Don't be stupid like me!

Wish I had looked up the reviews before I looked at them. Of course they get your curiosity when they say you have a lawsuit or bankruptcy. They are a pack of liars out to get your money. If you do fall for it, make sure you only sign on for one month and be sure to call and cancel it.

This company offers $2.00 trial for a week, so i did it, now my credit card statement shows a $15.00 and $27.00 fee for other parts I did not ask for and also shows the $1.00 fees twice and they will not refund those charges so i am putting a stop on payment through the card company, this company for that price did not even have phone numbers,"THEY SUCK"

I signed up to get background info on someone. I received an error message when I processed the card but never received access. At the same time, my bank already showed a pending charge. I called customer service the next day. They told me my credit card was declined, but the money was already pending. They wanted me to pay more money to get access! When I put up a fuss about it and spoke to a "supervisor" I was told that they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and my membership had been terminated, but the withdrawal is still pending!

I went on to search for a friend and they gave me options of service. One was one month for $12.95, so I selected that. After I found out it was useless, I went to cancel the account and found that they actually charged my credit card over $150. For a year of use in advance. That was never made known to me anywhere in the process of enrolling and really pissed me off. Nobody should use this website.
