While the information is not always accurate, this site is critical for those of you who are on dating sites. You can corroborate much information to determine their truthfulness. You can get their most recent address in 95 percent of the cases and other cities and states in which they have lived. You can, more importantly, find out if they have any criminal offenses. I was about to meet a guy who had several... one for theft over $1000. Needless to say, I stopped communicating with him. I also found MYSELF... and the bankruptcy I filed decades ago. That didn't please me but it is what it is. The guy I'm dating now has NO criminal records, NO liens, No nothing. I feel safe. This site to me was worth the money I paid for 6 months.
Several people who have had their SIM card hacked within their phone and smart tv's has seen their stolen personal information on this.site.and then see their income tweeted job titles exaggerated truth mixes with lies on this site. Its no wonder why peoples credit card number gets stolen and little to no information found for the person that their seeking info on. Dnt pay these people anything and bc they are trying to make money off of their scamming stalking people and hoping that the victims will pay them to take the fake/ mixed with wee bit truth. I have nothing to gain reporting they s nor to loose. Keep yr money and beware that all these crooks need from you is attention to their site. Sure looks legit sure sure it does. That's part of their charm. Ava n don't be fooled and bc even my information after my SIM card was hijacked ended up on this sit.
I got charged for a service that I didn't even know I subscribed to. I noticed that it said I had 7 days to cancel so stupidly, I waited till the last day and they had already charged me and would not refund.
The services that they provide are lame. I tried to use them since I had paid for it. Not worth having. Total waste of money!
This is a complete and total scam. I originally joined when preparing to attend a school reunion. Now I see personal information posted, some completely false and libelous.
Please remove me from this site ASAP!
I am Robert E. Davis and the nicknames that I use and my relatives is not accurate. I am not sure how they attained this incorrect information but much of it is not correct. I tried to contact the site directly and all they said was to come here and create a review? Very poorly run.
This is a total scam. I signed up for it with the purpose of removing a picture that was posted under my name. A few minutes later after signing up, all my information became public. They just made my life more public contrary to what I signed up for.
How can one review the incredibly accurate one, perhaps the one in the UK, if one can not find out how to communicate with them from the US? All these likely very valid SCAM reviews have likely been linked to the wrong outfit. If so, any suspect error should be promptly corrected by responsible reviewers.
The MyLife.com (mylife.com) comes from an unknown source. One has to agree to the terms and conditions without being able to read them first. At the end, the report is "finalized" but there is no apparent way to obtain the finalized report. As of this July 29,2017, there is something very fishy about this. Maybe SiteJabber, with all its expertise will eventually be able to resolve what is going. This reviewer does not have the know-how to do this.
I went to this site thinking that I needed to worry about the information that was on the site as I am currently applying for jobs. My "reputation" score on this site is poor, however, besides 1 traffic violation in the last year, I have no convictions or otherwise derogatory information. I made the mistake of purchasing a subscription thinking this was a valid site and now realize this is a huge scam. Please do not waste your money or your time on this site.
I made up a name that no one could possibly have and submitted it to my life. Guess what that person is alive and living in a town next to me, not really but that's what they reported to me. Unfortunately the town next to me only has 300 people and nobody with the name I made up. At least I'm pretty sure there is nobody there with the name of ace ABCD.
For $4.98 I asked MyLife to find a missing cousin. All I got back was data re: myself. Then MyLife added on an additional $155.40 charge for a service I NEVER ordered. I was unable to reach a live person at MyLiofe by phone. I only got a recorded message telling me to Email. My credit card company is disputing the charge. This has been a horrible experience.
Tip for consumers:

I signed up for a three day Premium membership, only to find out that this is a standard membership even though it says Premium Membership. I was asked to 14.95 additional fee for Premium searches. I cancelled membership immediately. Don't bother paying anything to MyLife. You won't get your moneys worth.
I googled my name and suddenly found my name was associated with my age and some private information, I didn't sign up for this website at all and when I try to deactivate, it doesn't let me or when I try to edit any of my info it doesn't allow me. I emailed them and they responded by this a public records that can be removed, called them and her I'm on a wait for 45 minutes
When you sign up you autmatically have a monthly renewal. Ok that's normal but when you try to give feedback or talk to someone there is not customer service center. You can get to frequently asked questions but that's it. And the searches are horrible. I have never been more disappointed than i was with this sight.Don't ever sign up for it.
This company has me down as ive a criminal record your kidding me, ive never been to jail, never been arrested.
You guys take me off your site now! Or ill attain a lawyer for false information, not only that but your doing this to how many people? Your putting fear into people to get money, YOUR a SCAM
I did a Google search on my name and mylife.com popped up. I looked at their ratings of me and I found them very misleading IMO, implying that my moral character might be questionable. Note that they protect themselves legally by always using the phrase "may have". For instance they state that I "may have Lawsuits, Liens or Bankruptcies", I "may have Sexual Offenses" and I "may have records indicating that they have been evicted from their home". Of course I have none of these. If I give them a little more information about myself, I can see a free detailed background report that "may include" Criminal or Court records found, and Possible Lawsuits, Liens or Bankruptcies Found... or not, at which point they now know more about me and perhaps will still withhold details until I pay them.
I called a couple of months back and asked for my profile to be deleted. Fast-forward to today and I get an email from mylife.com telling me to increase my reputation rating. I called and talked to an agent who, after verifying me, said she deleted my program. She then gave me a confirmation number. I asked her to send me an email with the confirmation. Never got the confirmation email. Called back an hour later. Agent says they don't send out emails and there is no manager available and I would have to wait 1 to 2 hours to hear back from someone. He needs to be flat out fired!
I called back until I finally got a manager, which is something should not have had to do!
The information on this site is incorrect and out of date. They even say someone has a criminal record for a speeding ticket. Then try to get your money back and cancel. Thankfully I have a good CC company that is refunding the fees. SCAM SCAM SCAM
I paid to receive a background check and was unwittingly signed up to MyLife monthly subscription of $15.95. When I noticed it on my credit card, I call the number and requested a refund and to cancel my account. I was told it would be cancelled and a credit received. This month another charge of $15.95 appeared on my account. This time I emailed them so I have something in writing.
There should be a class action lawsuit!
Read closely, you don't get what you think you are paying for. The first subscription basically gives you no new information, so they try to scam you into purchasing a second subscription for the information you thought you were getting in the first purchase. This is a deceitful business and should be shut down.
I keep getting emails about "you have a bad review"... Well, what they appear to be doing with MY email is pulling random women's first names and pairing them with my last name, then sending me an alert as "Sandra Nxxxxx, aka Tina N..., Tina M N..., and various other akas... SCAM! Don't waste your time or risk your info.
OMG... just had my Visa debited $179.80 for an acct I cancelled 3 weeks ago. Tomorrow I will attempt to call their 1-800 number but after reading the reviews on this site (and others) I don't expect a favorable resolution. Wish I had checked them out before signing up for the "trial period". BTW, I guess I should have known better. College grad, retired teacher, senior citizen.
Information truly wrong. Claims I have unknown criminal record in a town I was not living in. Has family members as people that bought my house. Worse part, I canceled days after first month started. 3 weeks later auto renewals started coming in. I called again. Said they canceled, was rude and spoke Eastern accent with broken English. I ask for a confirmation email but never got it. When I checked where their website had a place for their email, it was blank. Of course! They also could NOT CORRECT wrong info. Reporting to FB and BBB is what we all need to do. Took advantage of this Senior. Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice... not... my turn.
This company and website are an absolute joke and fraud! Stole my money, wouldn't refund. Completely denied withdrawing it from my debit!
First of all, you are supposed to be able to make your profile private but it's not private at all. Log out and all your info is still visible to the world.
Secondly, it says you can look people up anonymously. Another lie! It alerts people the second you search them by email!
I asked for a refund for the membership I purchased and they denied taking money out of my account claiming I only had 'trial' membership.
BEWARE OF THIS SHADY COMPANY!
This, to me is a total rip-off. I was seeing what was on the web about a person and mylife popped up with a free 4 day use term that costs a $1. When I did find the person they then wanted me to upgrade to get the "free" information they had promised. Now they are billing me $59.95 for 6 months of "service" because I didn't cancel the account in the 4 days, i did call the day they charged my credit card. Account is canceled and I can use this useless service for the next six months, my lucky day,
We used MyLife to check the background of our tenant. It didn't reveal much, almost everything says: information not available.
I then tried to search for myself and... couldn't find anything about me! As if I didn't exist or was invisible, yet I am very present on social media and the internet in general. Also, they automatically charged me for a second month, even though I had subscirbed for one month only. When I called to cancel, they said it couldn't be refunded. What a waste of money and time. Stay away.
I refuse to even give you ANY stars! You don't allow any person to update their own review? How stupid are you for information?!
I need not say anymore... all about making profit but if someone is willing to update their own profile your too stupid to see this as a win for your dumb asses? Lol how are you even surviving? Lol
Even if it wasn't a complete scam that didn't reveal inaccurate information, MyLife as a concept is dangerous and amoral at least. Certain personal info--like party affiliation, religion, income, and more--are private topics that should only be revealed with the will of the person and only to people they trust. Releasing this to the public--and therefore making it available to any acquaintance with knowledge of their name--can potentially ruin relationships. The fact that any percentage of this information is inaccurate can only further damage lives (even for people who have nothing to hide), and I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that half of it was false from what I've seen. Not to mention, there's nothing comforting about the concept of giving individuals a star rating.
