While the information is not always accurate, this site is critical for those of you who are on dating sites. You can corroborate much information to determine their truthfulness. You can get their most recent address in 95 percent of the cases and other cities and states in which they have lived. You can, more importantly, find out if they have any criminal offenses. I was about to meet a guy who had several... one for theft over $1000. Needless to say, I stopped communicating with him. I also found MYSELF... and the bankruptcy I filed decades ago. That didn't please me but it is what it is. The guy I'm dating now has NO criminal records, NO liens, No nothing. I feel safe. This site to me was worth the money I paid for 6 months.
Several people who have had their SIM card hacked within their phone and smart tv's has seen their stolen personal information on this.site.and then see their income tweeted job titles exaggerated truth mixes with lies on this site. Its no wonder why peoples credit card number gets stolen and little to no information found for the person that their seeking info on. Dnt pay these people anything and bc they are trying to make money off of their scamming stalking people and hoping that the victims will pay them to take the fake/ mixed with wee bit truth. I have nothing to gain reporting they s nor to loose. Keep yr money and beware that all these crooks need from you is attention to their site. Sure looks legit sure sure it does. That's part of their charm. Ava n don't be fooled and bc even my information after my SIM card was hijacked ended up on this sit.
Gets you to sign up on the pretense of being able to cancel at any time,,,,, but will not refund your money,,, 179.00,,,,, but you can cancel,,, no refund,,,, makes you think your only being charged 14.95 per month and can cancel at anytime,,,, wrong and dishonest
I paid for a membership for a year, so I could search for information on my family and myself and correct bad information. After doing a little family searching, I tried to correct information on my profile and was stopped because they charge another large fee for giving you access to your own profile. I am sure they enter wrong information on purpose so you will pay to correct it. The date they put for my birthday is way off, and I know they didn't find that date on any documents. I don't know how they can get away with exposing your personal information to the public. I filed a complaint with PayPal requesting a refund, and they referred me back to MyLife, who initially argued against it saying it was my fault for choosing the wrong kind of membership. They finally agreed to provide a refund, we will see if I get it.
I was contacted to join them to see my score. I wanted to see if they were a legitimate company, so I gave them a real email and made up a phoney person at a phoney address. Years have passed and they still keep trying to get the phoney person to fix their reputation. They tell me that they have over 1000 people searching that phoney persons reputation. This company is a scam. If you like to be scammed please send them your money, I am sure they will do a good job on you. See photo of last email I got for the phoney person.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MYLIFE.COM! They say $7.95 monthly and then charge you $95.40 without the disclaimer that it is non-refundable. I just got off the phone with them and they refused to give me back my money even though I paid for the account 5 minutes earlier - good thing I checked my bank otherwise I never would have known. Also, I did not get access to a damn thing - all of the info I had to "upgrade" to access. FURIOUS.
Where can I join the class action suit?
I enrolled for three days on their trial basis and was charged for three months $44.95. First I was charged twice for a three day trial and then when I tried to deactivate the account it could only be done by only by calling *******900 and was told I had to purchase one month for $10.95 before I would be refunded my $44.95.
If there was a NO STAR rating option, customer service representative LOVIE would get it. The worst experience speaking with Lovie. She rushed though the conversation, didn't seem interested in helping resolve my issue and hung up on me.
If anyone gets Lovie on the phone, disconnect and call back MyLife.com.
I never subscribed to this site. I just reviewed my bank statement and found out that I was being charged a monthly subscription fee of $18.95. I live outside of the U.S. and my international credit card was being charged. I called the company to cancel this so-called subscription. Cancellation was a hassle. I talked to a customer rep named "Lovie" (I kid you not" and was told they would cancel my "subscription" immediately and send an email confirmation. I am still waiting for that email. Fortunately, I did copy down a cancellation confirmation number. This had better not show up on my statement next month. I investigated this company. It is a scam and has been the subject of much litigation. It is a complete FRAUD and they are thieves.
I looked up and searched my name and "somehow" on was on Mylife and my name with a picture was there. Not a picture I wanted, an old outdated one. My salary was way off and just anyone could search me. I was amazed that this site never asked my permission and stated my false salary and net worth so anyone I know could read this. This is pathetic. I hope this site gets completely shut down and they go out of business. It should not be that easy to type someone's name and find false salary information and a picture you don't want.
Went to obtain a report on my daughter who recently passed away looking for anything discovery that might disturb an already grieving father. Indicated a one time fee for a single report and they added a premium charge that was not authorized. Called customer service and became argumentative refusing to grant my request to remove the premium charge that I did not authorize. Instead the agent tried to get me to authorize and additional four dollar a month for the service. What a scam! What a fraud!
Very bad... Stay away! It was a total ripoff! I had no idea they would charge my credit card what they did (I think it was one year for 2 services I don't even recall ordering!... plus automatic annual renewal. I called and cancelled all services immediately, but they still insisted on charging me for one month anyway. I still plan to dispute all charges with my credit card company and if not successful, I will cancel my (20yr credit card)!
What everyone else says. Criminal records? What criminal records?! My income is between $1-$149,000? Well, guys, it says I'm single so come at me. Good grief. This is highly illegal. If anyone is going after them legally please message me! This is positively insane.
I joined for 1 month. Checked for the info they had on me. It was very old (the job listed was one I had left 4 years ago), old email addresses (one from 14 years ago) and The only thing accurate was a financial issue from 3 years ago (I knew that). The hook that originally lead me to subscribe (someone from your town is looking up your info) was from 6 years ago.
When I called to get my money back they only initially just offered to stop automatic renewals (which the site wasn't clear I had signed up for). When I threatened to write a bad review, they gave me a full refund.
Should have looked here first.
Ok, I was curious, after all the searching I was done. I don't mind paying for the service it was ok as far locating information except when came to cancellation. If you unsubscribe it only unsubscribes you from emails. You have to call (during the week only)or cancel the auto payment (which you had no choice in the beginning). Not a good way to run a website but a good way to catch unwary customers. I would not recommend this site just based on that but also on the fact that its information removal service doesn't work! The other information is available elsewhere at a lower cost. If you do happen to get caught up in your curiosity, be vigilant in cancellation!
Tip for consumers:
Read the fine print!
I did not ask for a renewal of your services, for that matter, I do not recall ever ordering it, yet I was charged $59 for a non-refundable renewal fee that I do not want nor need. What is the story on your scam? Now the supposed account is blocked.
I authorized a $1.00 charge. MyLife.com charged me $1.00 twice and then charged me $59.95. Thankfully I saw the $59.95 charge on my credit card statement and was able to dispute it. All of the information I saw with the $1.00 I paid was incorrect. I'm not Jewish and I am not Hispanic. I will make sure that I am credited the $59.95 or I will report it as fraud with my credit card company. This website needs to be taken down.
They double billed me and keep it up after canceling. Signed up for one month. They double billed and then keep double billing. Customer service operator very thick accent. Can't get anywhere with them.
They indicate an existence of a criminal record on a name and town, age you are looking at but when you pay you get someone's else criminal record. A pure scam!
They put you on default for a record withdrawal without even asking you. A PURE SCAM. Make sure you cancel!
They bill u all at once, not monthly. I did not respect the site, so did not renew my membership. Yet, there is still a public profile up, and they have all of my information! People can give me ratings on my reputation! WTF?! Anyone who dislikes u can go on there, and try to ruin your reputation... and I am not even a member! I want my public profile and personal information deleted immediately! Worst on-line site ever!

For safety on the internet, I use multiple avatars. I have never searched for nor signed up for anything on mylife.com, so they should not have my avatars' e-mail addresses, but there a growing number of people that mylife.com claims "know" my avatars and want to re-connect with them.
Pure BS!
The simple solution is to for them to be blacklisted and blocked by honest ISPs.
I can't even give this service one star. But I have choose at least one star to submit a review. I $1 for a 7 day membership trial. This is how they reel you in. Apparently you are suppose to call within a few days of the free trial to cancel the subscription (a subscription that I never agreed to) or your account would be charged for the subscription. Prior to the 7 day free trial ending, my account was charged $79.95 along with an overdraft fee of $25. Unfortunately I had not looked at these reviews prior to starting the free trial. The customer service representative told me "you do what's best for you" when I informed him that I would be calling the BBB to report their service or lack there of. He also talked over me multiple times. Finally I was told that I would be refunded the $79.95 but not the $25 overdraft fee. DO NOT UTILIZE THIS SERVICE!
I signed up to review my score and was shocked to see a known criminal had a higher score than myself and other upstanding citizens I know. This is a bogus site that can be manipulated by anyone if the fee is paid. Thereby, providing false information. I called and immediately canceled this and was even given a false confirmation number. Two weeks later on a Sunday morning I was sent a FRAUD ALERT by my credit card. MY LIfe again was stealing money from my account. I then had to endure trying to decipher what a non English speaking rep from MY LIFE was trying to explain to me... something about the last rep I spoke to "did not properly cancel my account" even though he gave me a confirmation number. Stay away from this site...
Over the months of Feb, Mar & Apr was billed more than $85 to my debit card. Had never even been to their website before. Had no idea who/what they were. Tried to call number on my back statement, I was always 47th, 32nd 18th caller in que. Emailed them. They said they'd talked to me on phone & had refunded my money. I'd never gotten through to talk to anyone. Tried calling again and again, keep getting msg about how many are in line ahead... In fact I had the bank reissue my debt card. Emailed again & again, keep getting a canned email saying they'd contact me in 24-72 hours. Have never been contacted. Don't do business with this company... no even sure they're a company. Can't get my money back...
I supposedly purchased 1 year of Mylife.com to look for friends from my past years, and for those looking for me. Everyone who was supposedly looking for me, I had never heard of, and instead of charging my debit card the $8.00, it was charged approximately $107 for the year. I called their 800 number and was told that I should have read the fine print. To make a long story short, I let the gentleman on the other end know that I was very displeased and not to charge my debit card. Doesn"t he continue trying to sell me a reduced rate membership. I had to tell him several times that I was not interested in any membership, and that I wanted a credit to my debit card for the full amount that I was charged, otherwise I was going to let the BBB Bureau and a lawyer know about this underhanded scheme. I"m waiting to see if my debit card will be credited in the next few weeks.
If you'd conduct a preliminary search online with this site, as I just have, you'll see how derogatory the information will be about you.
MyLife said I have:
Arrest or Criminal Records I do not.
Lawsuits, Liens or Bankruptcies I do not... and that I MAY have committed Sexual Offenses I have not, never. But at this stage, after all the derogatory assertions, you'd easily have to believe this too.
MyLife is a complete falsehood. It engages in this adulterated behavior simply to extort. I have done nothing wrong, I have nothing to hide, and these a-holes will rot in the ashes of the despicables before I pay them one cent.
This site is a scam. If you use the free locator service, it creates an account with a default to auto renew the account each month. Of course, you are not advised of the autor renew feature until the card is charged the next month. You are advised by email a day later at which point they state, whether you use the site or not, they can do nothing about the charge.
DO NOT Patronize these a-holes.
