“Worthwhile”

Agens S.
11/22/19

While the information is not always accurate, this site is critical for those of you who are on dating sites. You can corroborate much information to determine their truthfulness. You can get their most recent address in 95 percent of the cases and other cities and states in which they have lived. You can, more importantly, find out if they have any criminal offenses. I was about to meet a guy who had several... one for theft over $1000. Needless to say, I stopped communicating with him. I also found MYSELF... and the bankruptcy I filed decades ago. That didn't please me but it is what it is. The guy I'm dating now has NO criminal records, NO liens, No nothing. I feel safe. This site to me was worth the money I paid for 6 months.

Several people who have had their SIM card hacked within their phone and smart tv's has seen their stolen personal information on this.site.and then see their income tweeted job titles exaggerated truth mixes with lies on this site. Its no wonder why peoples credit card number gets stolen and little to no information found for the person that their seeking info on. Dnt pay these people anything and bc they are trying to make money off of their scamming stalking people and hoping that the victims will pay them to take the fake/ mixed with wee bit truth. I have nothing to gain reporting they s nor to loose. Keep yr money and beware that all these crooks need from you is attention to their site. Sure looks legit sure sure it does. That's part of their charm. Ava n don't be fooled and bc even my information after my SIM card was hijacked ended up on this sit.

It reveals personal information, such as birthdates, to the public, and includes other information that could be used by identity thieves. At the same time, it is misleading, with information that is inaccurate in many ways. The premiums reports that are supposed to be highly detailed with deep background information are incomplete and worthless.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this site.

I signed up for one month at 14.95. Once i got in to the site, I went to run a background a person. Only to find out, that any report you run is charged to your account. In otherwords, signing up for MyLife gives you nothing. It requires you to pay for any report. I cancelled my subscription immediately. I have turned over their advertised practices to the attorney generals office for fraud. Stay away from them. I lost my 14.95 to a crooked company, stay away from them. Greg H.

I thought I would try it for the introductory offer of $9.99 but changed my mind the same day and called and canceled my membership. Now I have a charge for $119 on my visa. I called about it and was put on hold for 30 minutes while they looked for "a recording of the call that I made". I hung up and called back. They said they could offer me one month for $29.99. I told her absolutely not. I told her to cancel my account. She said there was no way to do that. I told her I would report them to the better business bureau. She said they will cancel my account and refund the money. They gave me a confirmation number and said it would be done in 24 hours. It better be refunded to my visa within 24 hours! They are HORRIBLE.

MyLife is a click bait disinformation aggregator designed to do one and only one thing, to get you to part with your money.

If you want a real background check, hire a PI or use a background checking service but do not give money to these fakers.

I tried this "MYLIFE". I knew it was a scram after I became a member. They make it so hard to cancel. "MYLIFE" takes money from my account twice a month. I am having my attorney handle this. They steal from their clients, customers who ever they can scam.

Good old My life. Billed not one 14.95 but two on the same day and then added another one on the same day for $80. Something. They did credit back the charges for the two 14.95 ones. I got nothing from them, and to be told I was only allowed one search for the $14.95,, which is not as advertised, and then the $80 + is too much. I have contact them, soon I will contact the BBB, the Attorney General of Az. And my on staff attorney, and I may sue. BEWARE FOLKS. Pima Council on Aging to me this one is the worst.

A ripoff, utter confusion, lacks integrity, poorly trained personal

I get the most poorly trained people in the Philippines. Calling visa and the BBB

This site had me listed twice, once at an old address and once at a new address. One said my reputation score was 3.75, the other said it was 2.95, the net worth was extremely wrong, and "CIVIL AND CRIMINAL RECORDS found" was fake. I am game to file a lawsuit against these people if anyone else would like to join me. This is beyond wrong.

My page on MyLife is inaccurate. Multiple attempts to reach someone at MyLife through various sources have not been successful. It appears an effort might have been made to "update" but they only added more inaccuracies - AND they published my home phone number! I want my page removed from MyLife This company is a joke, as is its website and it's CEO Jeff Tinsley.

Total ripoff. I never even subscribed to them or installed their program, nor would I ever want to, and got a bunch of emails saying they had all this personal and private information on me that wasn't even all true or wasn't even me, and that anyone could look up my phone number, address, etc., which was quite scary. And to unsubscribe they said I had to pay them and to install their program, but their program was NEVER installed on my phone. Complete scam trying to scare you into paying to opt out of something you never opted in to!

They lock ability to edit info behind a paywall, and if you pay and later want to cancel your membership, they don't let you and they don't refund you, even though it says they do refunds on the website. Don't trust mylife.com

I have looked up several people on this site that I know and the information is very old and not accurate. Their scoring system is whacky also. People who are on the street drug addicts have higher scores that extemely successful and responsible people. Married status is inaccurate, as well as income. I have been divorse for 13 years and it states I am married. People who have died years ago are still listed as alive. They confuse records of people that have the same name.

A friend told me to look up my name on Google to see what this site had. People (including me -- if I click "it's me") have to pay to see supposed details like arrest records & education. But NET WORTH is there for everyone to see! That is, Net Worth according to them. The joke is that I have no net worth. In 1997 my wife and I put everything, I mean EVERYTHING, in a Family Trust for our children. This includes our home, investments, bank accounts, cars, beneficiaries of life insurance policies, contents of the home -- everything. As individuals,
We have no net worth. MyLife blazons that my net worth is $40,000! That is a number they must have pulled out of their nether sphincter. I'm calling them during regular business hours to have them remove my name from their site.

I looked up my name to find a picture of a young girl that of course isn't me had my birthday and some correct info then reading more they have a lot of false info. I have never been arrested or convicted of a crime. It said i had. It said i was evicted never have been. It stated i lived in places i have never lived. I plan on contacting them to have this false information remove. This could destroy a persons life especially if a employer looks you up. I'm in the medical field which i get life scan i wouldn't be able to work in my field if i was convicted of a crime as this company put on their site.

Don't use this site. It's the worst as far as customer service. I could not get errant information removed and it was a waste of money. I couldn't get ahold of the company to cancel my subscription until after the date for renewal so they wouldn't refund my money.

I signed up for a trial membership for $1.00. They charged me a $1.00 and then charged me $83.40 for a full year membership. I called them immediately and told them I did not sign up for the year membership. They refused to refund the money but said they would only charge $14.95 for the membership. They said they would send a confirming email. The representative was mean and you couldn't stand her. They are scammers.

The information that they said will be provided when searching someone wasn't available. The information that they had for me was wrong. What upsets me the most is it stated that I have a criminal history and my last criminal activity was as recent as 2019, this is false. It also stated that I am single, again this is false. It had names of people they say are related to me that are not. Please don't waste your money or your time with mylife, it's a terrible company with many bad reviews and has also been reported to the BBB.

Dont think ive ever experienced a more horribly run excuse for a company. At no point did they charge me any amount that was agreed to. They did bot cancel my account after calling to confirm cancelattion 4 times now. Theyve charged my card 3 additional times than agreed. Confirmation numbers they give you dont mean a $#*!ing thing, bevause they dont relate to your sale. They refused to remove my charges only until i threatened with a small claims civil suit. No one speaks $#*!in english in their entire company. And ironically all of their supervisors are always in meetings conveniently. $#*! Mylife. Have a great day.

I only wanted ONE report on someone so I paid for the ONE MONTH subscription. After I paid it said the subscription would be renewed automatically unless I called to cancel before the expiration date. I right away emailed them and demanded they cancel my account or I would let my credit card know to refuse to pay. They said they would cancel account. We'll see if they make good on their promise.

I signed up for a fixed one-month search deal and within two weeks I was charged an adiditional $18.95 and $16.95 for bullsh*t automatic renewal. I called and got the runaround by some ditz who kept trying to sidetrack me and read from a script. Stay away from these scammers. They should be put out of business.

I originally purchased the $1 introductory membership as a curiosity to which I canceled right away only to get an automatic renewal notice a few weeks later for $19.95 which I couldn't cancel through the fraudulent website. The email notification stated I can call them to cancel my membership which I did and talked to an Indian woman who spoke poor English. I told her I wanted to cancel my membership to which she kept asking me questions and kept having trouble verifying this, that, and needed information I couldn't answer to proceed with the cancelation. We just kept going around in circles and it became obvious that she didn't want to cancel. I finally had enough and told her f**k you and hung up. I called my bank and told them to block any future attempts from them. Stay away from these scumbags.

Free my hiney! - When you begin registration they tell you that it is all free. Oh no it's not! After you get all the way through you find out you have to upgrade your membership and pay for it just to get any kind of information.
Granted it is not that much to join, it is the fact that saying it is FREE and then CHARGING you for it is to me false advertisement.

I have called these morons a couple times now (of course they are based in India) to cancel my account. They said everything was taken care of during my last phone call and I'm getting charged $14- something again.
I'm reporting them to my bank so they can't charge me at all. CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS! I guarantee if you did the $1 trial you have been charged $14+ by them monthly since then, even if you did call and speak to one of them.
