I ordered 3 baby turtles. They took almost 3 days to get to me once shipped even though I paid for overnight shipping. They did not label the box with UPS as live animals. I refused to remove the smelly animals and stomach doing that so they refused to give me my money back. They also have a phone number listed on their site and email. They mailed me out Dead Turtles. They were in a container filled with cotton, no air holes what so ever. They sent food in a separate container. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. They are a scam and will send you dead turtles. My poor grandkids opened up dead turtles. Had to have a funeral for them right away. BAD BUSINESS. No way of knowing if they were even alive when they mailed them out. I speng over 70 for two dead turtles. They hold no accountability. Saying no refunds or returns. Of course not, who wants a dead turtle back. Bad Bad business

I bought a turtle, it arrived with both legs deformed, a huge lump in neck and cracked shell. We ended up realizing the turtle was blind and would not swim, it would just float in the water. Tried to contact customer service for month now, no response.
I ordered from them and the turtle died within 7 days they only gave me stupid store credit $#*!ing bull$#*! like they thinking I'm gonna order from them again I want my money back
I did everything right but read the reviews before purchasing. My son's baby turtle arrived dead and I'm not even surprised after seeing the packaging. They smothered the poor thing with so much tissue inside of the plastic, sealed container that it didn't have a chance. Now I can't get through to anyone on the phone or by email. It's the biggest scam and it's an inhumane business.

Won't answer the phone, won't return emails, I've been trying to get in touch with anyone to an update on my order status and can't get anyone to even return reply. At this point I don't know what to do, money was transacted but as of now the product has not shipped. Beyond frustrated!

Paid for 3 heat packs and hydro. It is winter. She came with 1 heat pack frozen solid. She was barely alive! Tried to nurse back to health and died. 5 messages and 3 emails asking for refund with no response. Unacceptable! Also nothing on box saying live animal. UPS left without signature. Needs negative stars! Had to put 1.

I received my order in 6 days paying still paying the $40+ for next day shipment one of my turtles came extremely sick would not even move I had to keep monitoring the little guy it's sad how a company with a following can do suck a think to such a beautiful animals what a shame and what a horrible experience this company is a scam and only in it for the money they mass produce sick and unhealthy animals and lie about where they keep them these animals are being mistreated and not getting the proper care please someone stop this company this is such a sick place I feel bad for the animals that have to live there on a daily basis

This company sent a dead turtle I did exactly what they wanted word from word and still nothing. They ripped me off for 120 dollars. It's a scam and doesn't matter if a few people got alive animals it's just not right!
I ordered a baby musk for my daughter and it was barely alive when it arrived. I did everything that I was suppose to as advised on their website and needless to say that the baby did not survive. I have sent countless emails and no response whatsoever. I purchase fish and aquatic animals online all of the time and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Do no or make the same mistake I did and find someone who actually cares about their customers and their turtles.
I will never order from this company again. Been waiting almost a week for my turtles to get shipped. Emailed this company 4 times, with no response at all. They told me it would ship in 2 days that was a lie
Turtle arrived dead on arrival, and they issued me a store credit. When I ordered another turtle with the store credit they charge my card anyway and charge for an extra heating pack as well as next day shipping but it came second day shipping with one heating pack anyway. I had to bribe UPS to meet me at the airport in order to ensure that the turtle got to me as soon as possible.
They were uncooperative in returning my money without store credit so I had to go through PayPal to file a dispute, and they said they would send me my money back if I sent them the dead turtle from a month ago. To me this is mockery and extremely unreasonable. PayPal has chosen to accept their unreasonable request, And now I am basically screwed with getting my money back. These guys are scammers at their best. Do not give them your money you will not get it back if you were disappointed. 100% scam

I called the company and guy was off the back very rude. Then i see that if you cancel they keep 20 percent. I think its apart of their scam game. NEVER AGAIN
This was my first time ordering from this website. It was a complete nightmare. Ive yet to get anyone to answer the phone. Machine is always full. Still haven't received an email with an explanation. I will never order from these ppl again.
I ordered 2 baby turtles for my daughter who was very excited about her new pets last month. I paid extra for the cool pacs so they would be comfortable on their trip.
One of them was dead and smelling bad when they arrived, and the other was lethargic and died within 24 hours. I tried to call when we got them, and was unable to contact them. I contacted them online and received an email telling me to send them back the dead stinking turtles, which by this time we had already buried them. Do not order anything from this company
1st time using this place, and almost cancelled based on the negative reviews. Got to be fair, the eastern painted turtle arrived quickly and healthy -- Readily swimming and eating. Use the next day air and track it on UPS? That's what I did. (Only negative, I did email a couple of times and didn't get a response.) They do provide a lot info about the shipping process.
My turtle arrived dead. When I asked for my money back they replied and said send a picture, which I did. They then blocked me from their website. I had to escalate in paypal. Still awaiting resolution.

We bought our two turtles (Baby Cumberland Slider and Yellow-Bellied Slider Turtle) Tuesday. They arrived in 3 days which was pretty quick! They were in great condition and nice box packaging. They even gave us two free food samples for the turtles!

I purchased two hatchling. One arrived fine and the other was a little lethargic and ended up passing away after 4 days. They have a 7 day health guarantee. I reached out and started the return process, it was easy. I submitted photos and it was approved and i received a store credit within hours. Since I bought one male and one female I didn't know which I still had so I emailed them and they responded quickly and let me know what I had so I knew what sex to reorder. Good customer service!

MyTurtleStore is in business ONLY for the money. No concern whatsoever for the customer. Communication and follow-thru with this company is terrible. Man who answers the phone is rude, cold, and uncaring. Tried to contact the owner numerous times. The owner never responded back after many phone calls and emails. There was a mix-up with my order and MyTurtleStore would not fully refund the money. Their phone machine does not work on the weekends so cannot leave a message. Turtles come in a small box (always unannounced when they will arrive), and there are NO instructions whatsoever how to care for them, what to feed them, how to house them, diseases, compatibility, cautions, etc. This is a nightmare of a company to deal with. PLEASE BE WARY!
I'm not really understanding all the negative reviews. Ordering was a breeze, everything was explained well during the process. I got an e-mail the next day stating that they would not ship my two hatchling RES until Monday since it was so close to the weekend. I received tracking information the day after which stated that my items were already shipped but wouldn't receive until Monday. I was concerned because that would mean my live turtles were in a box for five days so I reached out via their Facebook page. I got a response almost immediately letting me know that my other items had shipped but the hatchlings would ship on Monday as I had been notified. They arrived on the intended date, the heat pack I had purchased still very warm and two very active hatchling RES. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to future purchases.
They were quick w my order! I recieved them early in the morning & i kept the tracking link they sent me open which was updated everytime! Also my turtles look beautiful nd they were alright.

Do not order from this company. I ordered a baby musk turtle from them two week ago. When I got the turtle I could tell something was wrong with him then as time went on he got worse and worse. This company does not provide healthy turtles please do not order form them.
