Xavier Calderon completed 2 jobs for us - and did well. We referred him to 3 other people - one being my dad. Xavier quoted the job so my dad wrote a check for more than the required half deposit based on the good referral. Despite repeated calls and setting dates, Xavier did not start the job. He then began to avoid calls and texts. Finally, during one of the last conversations, we asked that he return the deposit and we would move on with another contractor that was available to complete the job. He agreed to venom the $500 deposit back to us... never happened. We contacted him 2 additional times and still Xavier lied about returning the deposit. He will no longer take calls. We thought we had a great contractor on hand but all we had was a THIEF. We found this contractor through Angie's List... don't fall into the same trap. This has been going on for over 3 months. At this point, we will be posting to all social media outlets and pursue legal action to the maximum extent possible. Very disappointing.
