Ive read a lot of negative reviews on here for Nasty Gal so I wanted to write one about my experience with the new (Boohoo) Nasty Gal. Ive been shopping with Nasty Gal for quite some time. I absolutely loved the original Nasty Gal and ordered from there on a regular basis. Very unique and trendy clothes that you couldnt find anywhere else. I would have been very happy if Boohoo had continued to carry the exact same high end type of clothing and assessories when they took over the company but sadly that wasnt the case. The quality of the clothing as well as the type of clothes on the website has definitely took a nose dive. However, there are still some very trendy and unique pieces sold on there, so I decided to place an order despite all the negative reviews. The shipping was relatively cheap ($6.00) considering that the order was coming from the UK. It took about 10 working days for me to receive the package, which wasnt too long IMO. I was pleasantly surprised because most of the items were of decent quality and looked exactly as pictured on the NG website. There were a few pieces though that I was less than happy with that I ended up sending back for a refund which took a total of about 5 weeks to receive. Since then I have placed a several more orders and more times than not I have been happy with what I received from NG. I have also sent back additional items for a refund and all but the last have averaged around 5 weeks till the refund went through. The last package I sent back was sent to a different address and I was refunded in about 2.5 weeks. Definitely an improvement so Im assuming it no longer has to be shipped back to the UK for the refund to be processed. One complaint I do have with the company is the customer service. Its pretty much non-existent now so if you have an issue like the wrong item being sent to you, (happened with last order) the only thing you can do is send it back for a refund.
Although this site had many negative review I still decided to order items from this site. Overall, the quality of the fit of the product once you actually receive it in the mail is a total toss up. The sizes and fit are inconsistent in comparison to what they look like on the model and what they suggest on the size chart. In US sizes, I am a zero or 24 in jeans, x-small in everything else. 5' 1" and 100 lbs. My dress sizes even between different brands rarely changes. I got leggings that were a small, though they suggested that I should be wearing an xx-small. Good thing I didn't listen cause the small fit great (although the model who is like a foot taller than me was supposedly wearing the same size...). I ordered a sweatshirt. Got an x-small. WAY too big.? Then, I got a dress in xx-small. The model was supposedly wearing a small. I tried the x-small and I literally couldn't even get my arms in. So, I returned that for store credit and ordered the same dress in a small, two whole sizes up from what they suggested I get. Yeah, still REALLY tight AND there were rips in the dress clearly from other poor suckers who had tried it on and stretched the crap out of it cause there is absolutely no stretch to the fabric. They also still had the capacity to send me a ripped dress. I noticed the damage before I even tried it on. There is absolutely no way the model was wearing a small in the picture. And now, they are out of stock of this dress, and I have to take a picture of the damage and return it AGAIN and I bet they'll only give me store credit. Honestly, they have such cute stuff on the site but you're taking a huge risk by spending your money here. The sizes and quality are very inconsistent, plus it's definitely not cheap. Also, if you want to get your money back they will charge you a 5.99 processing fee or only give you store credit (once again forcing you to take a risk on ordering something from their site again). I don't know if I trust the site enough to order from it again.
Nasty Gal used to have trendy clothing but they went downhill. Now I never hear about them anymore. I think they went out of business?
Super grossed out by the name and ads. Name sounds like clothing for girls with hygiene issues and ads are just as bad.
Cheap clothes
I used to order from nastygal years ago and though more expensive, the items were always higher quality.
My last two recent purchases (one I just received today) have totally turned me off.
I ordered a bikini top and was sent the wrong item, but they said I'd have to return the bikini and order the item again which was bothersome as it was their mistake.
This time I ordered a casual grey dress, plain black tee, and layered necklace. The necklace came apart because two of the links had a gap. I had to fix it myself.
The grey dress had huge and WEIRD armpits. I mean super weird. I'm small so I'm used to having to take clothes in, but I had to sow a seam going into the bust to fix it, and I only did so because the rest of the dress was really nice and I knew returning was an absolute hassle with them at this point. My quick fix still looks sort of strange, and I'm lamenting what the dress could have been because other features of the garment are really cool. I rarely complain, and this is probably the first negative review I've ever written. The seam was just wrong or a mistake, plain and simple.
The clothes are of a similar style to the old nastygal, but they lack even acceptable quality. It breaks my heart as I'm a picky shopper when it comes to style, but I can't justify buying any more products. I mean, any website that almost always has items on sale for "50%" really is just selling cheap stuff. They couldn't have an almost constant sale if the clothes were really worth the supposed full price. They just try and trick you with styles that look more expensive and a price to match so you'll make an impulse buy because of the "great deal".
Will never shop on this website. Took me 3 seconds to see the rip offs. REGULAR shorts for $100. WHAT THEEEEE F! Bye bye nasty gal... nasty prices.

This is the WORST company I've ever dealt with in terms of customer service. I've been dealing with them for almost a month and it has been HELL. I ordered about $1,000 worth of merchandise for two parties I had coming up. I paid $40 to ship express and when Fed Ex delivered the package, the whole bag was ripped from end to end with only 1 out of 15 items in it. First of all, the bag said the items weighed a total of EIGHTEEN lbs and it was sent in a plastic bag, not a box. That was their first mistake. Im guessing the weight of the items ripped the bag open during the delivery process and I'm sure my items are spread from NY to CA at this point. Fed Ex is also at fault for delivering this package in the first place. They were supposed to report the package as damaged, but failed to do so. I have a door cam and the driver just folded the ripped package over and took his proof of delivery photo so he could go on about his day.
So I tried to reach out to Nasty Gal that day (11/06/23) to tell them I didn't receive 14 out of 15 of my items. They have ZERO live people to talk to and only allow communication through email. It took days for them to believe the package came like this and they finally said ok we will send you out another shipment for your missing items. Three of the items were out of stock at this point so on Nov. 8th they said they would refund me $188.82 and it would be in my account no later than 11/15/23. Okay cool. Nope, never got the refund TO THIS DAY.
All emails I received are at least two days later so communication with this company is a nightmare. They never resolve the issue, they only say my refund is on its way. Give it more time. BULLS**T.
I received the other items on 11/11/23 and it was already too late for my parties, things didn't fit, plus I was upset with dealing with this company so I returned all the items in a box with a Nasty Gal return label. It shows the third party they use to ship packages picked up my package from USPS on November 17th. I have not heard a word about whether they have received my return and I have yet to get a dime back from them for the items that were out of stock before. So here we are, it is December 3rd and I have ZERO refund from Nasty Gal and not a single item to show for the near $1,000 I am out of pocket for. I am furious and will be filing a small claims against this shady company.
I ordered three dresses. They came in a timely manner but they are all poorly cut and polyester. They all look terrible. I should have read reviews.
Their customer service is not good. Shopped there once and never again unless I know they improved their customer service. Nor worth it.

Answer: Hi! I had to order 2 sizes up... these clothes are made for slim petite women. If u are not then order at least one size up.
Answer: I never ordered Anything from this company, they got my debt card # and just started to Take funds out of my acc. That is how they got caught, I would NEVER order anything from them! Be very careful if you do.
