I just used nationwide moving and storage for my move. After they collected my down payment I didn't hear from them again for 3 months until 2 days before my move date even though I called multiple times to try to solicit advise on my packing that they promote in their package. They finally after a lot of stress less than 24 hours before gave me a move date and time and then moved the time 2 times causing me extra expense in reserving of my building elevator. The final cost for the move was 3x higher than the estimate I was given on the phone 2 days earlier which was already double the original estimate that secured my business. After all that hassle the furniture we packed came in one piece but every piece the movers packed were damaged or broken. They sucked and we're not worth the hassle. DO NOT USE!

Nationwide Moving and Storage does not move or store anything, they quote you and hand the actual moving off to a company for considerably less than they charge you. You have no control over who they choose to move your furniture, many of the companies they use for only one reason "they're Cheap" Nationwide does not care what kind of job they do, or what kind of damage happens to your furniture they make their money on the front end. And if you have a complaint you need to take it up with the company they chose to move you. Steer clear!

I wish I could give them -100 stars. Run don't walk. Bad news all the way around. This is a scam. Don't just don't use these guys. They are a full on scam. I'm still in disbelief that they are getting away with such a grand scheme of a scam. They are a middle man and sell your move to other vendors. You have no control over who they are where and how they handle your belongings. They don't help your age the process and you will be sure to pay twice the estimated amount. Please just don't.

The customer service were never help me when a estimate was taking wrong. They make you believe they take care of the situation the first day. Before you sign up the bill of lender with the deposit,after they get the money you are $#*! off, and they never will give you the refund back. They never take your calls, their website dont work it say error. A guy called Mike make you believe he give you his personal phone number to you for comunication but he never reach to you,this people are miserable. Dont sign anything or pay anything to them.

I used this organization to move from California to Virginia and the experience is the worst I have ever had with any move, and I have moved across the country 3 times before. My estimate went from $6700 to almost $13,000. It's been over a month and I still don't have my belongings. Their customer service is awful. I have asked for several call backs from management and have received 0. They are not proactive about anything. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

Do not. Do not. Do NOT use nationwide. Customer service is atrocious. They toe the company line. If you're not a corporate client, they have no use for you. Hidden extra fees at every turn. Unacceptable levels of communication. Radio silence. They have had nearly three months to prepare for our delivery date and we still do not have our belongings. An absolutely terrible company.

They were kind, knowledgeable, and equipped with everything necessary to move smoothly. The relocation was swift and painless, and they carried it out within two hours. I'm so satisfied with the service.

I'm appreciative to Nationwide Moving and their entire staff for making this move so simple for me. The procedure was simple, the communication was excellent, and everything was completed in a timely manner.

Excellent service; they were very accommodating when my relocation dates changed. They moved swiftly. I've already used them twice and plan to do so again!

This removal company is highly recommended; they are quick, efficient, and respectful of your home. Everything went perfectly, and I will hire them again if I need to relocate anything.

These guys are incredible! We were able to book on short notice. They were easy to work with, courteous, and completed our relocation in a timely manner.

SCAM ALERT, BUYER BEWARE! Wow, I can't believe we fell for this. We are moving from PA to TN, and hired this company to relocate us. On our first call, we were told by the rep that we would be picked up on 12-6 or 12-7 and it would take 2 days to have our belongings moved into our new residence in TN... I asked her why it would take them 2 days to make a 10 hour trip, and she explained that with weigh stations, breaks, and trucking regulations they would need the two days... It is now 12/6 and we are being told that they will pick us up on 12/7 and that it could take up to 3 WEEKS for our belongings to make it to our new residence... After explaining that we were told it will take two days, they told us that we had 3 days to cancel the contract and that we will not be getting any sort of refund...

Absolute scam. Absolute scum.

We consider ourselves fortunate that we hired them! They were exceptionally courteous and professional. They arrived 10 minutes early and maintained a high level of efficiency throughout.

Excellent company that is highly efficient in its operations. I was really attentive to my belongings and ensured that everything was in order. I would highly recommend it.

I used Nationwide in my move from Ca to NC. Like so many others on this site, my cost was finally 2.5x more then estimate. Despite me measuring my boxes, counting them and making updates before I moved, my move cost more then twice as much. The method they use is Nationwide sells your move to another business- in my case COBRA moving- they show up and wants to get paid more to even start moving with cash or banker's note. So imagine selling your house, having movers show up and demanding more money before they will start. It is blackmail pure and simple. In NC, on receiving my goods, the truck driver (who spoke Arabic so we had to use Google translate to even know what was going on) called and said Delivery was in 2 days on Easter Sunday. I requested a change since we had celebration plans and was told that would cost me $1200 more so I agreed to Easter Sunday. They indicated it was still going to be another $1600 in cash. Again when they showed up the would not unload without getting $1600 more. Again they blackmail you, they have your furniture and so they shake you down.

Another thing Nationwide did was: Before the move I called several times to buy the extra moving insurance. After a week of calling every day and leaving a message, I called and kept calling back until they let me talk to the person who handled insurance. When I finally had him on the phone, he informed me it was too late to add to my move. I explained I had called many times and he never called me back. Our compromise was to have him take the time to extra wrap my products. Everything arrived either totally broken or nicked and damaged in some way.

I plan on filing with the BBB to ensure consumers are forewarned about both companies and their unethical practices.
