The company's reputation is significantly marred by customer dissatisfaction regarding its coverage of the Olympic Games, with frequent complaints about excessive commercial interruptions, poor commentary quality, and inadequate event coverage. Viewers express frustration over split screens and delayed broadcasts, which detract from their viewing experience. We arent seeing races and full events. I dont want to hear who won I want to see it. Too many commercials. Too much warm ups. Too little of the events!
Considering the phase of existence we have been passing through, it is a pleasure to see others of us giving their best effort at what they love. We probably all should try some of that.
On a little of a down side, I do wish people responsible for the graphics in sport broadcasting were better trained in color, contrast and font sizing. My eyes are three times older than the athletes I watch
We are no longer listening to the opening ceremony because we cannot hear the NBC announcers at all
Just so you know
Please ask them not to trash the Ollympics with politics and personal miss-informed word throwing on the Chinese. If the 2022 Winter Olympics were held in Germany, the NBC hosts would hit the Germans with Nazi remarks and personal view point, Germans are not Nazis, and I would not want you to talk about what I feel during the Olympics in my country, if I was Chinese, or any other country for that matter.
... was terrible. Mike and Savanah were totally drowned out by the background sounds from the stadium announcers.
I don't think you have any idea that we cannot hear anything you commentators are saying. The music is great.
Isnt it enough that the current political climate of the world is in turmoil? Do we have to make it worse by mentioning political atrocities as different countries march into the stadium during the opening ceremonies. This is supposed to be about athletic competition on a global scale... however the NBC commentary is anything but and creates more of a stressful and emotionally draining viewing experience for everyone involved! Having two people on (one Chinese, one American) to amplify the situations even further just made it worse. Why not interview some athletes from different countries highlighting their struggles with training, traveling or success stories? Shame on you NBC... in addition,
1. Why even mention Putin and Ukraine... so unnecessary!
2. Do you have to announce that certain countries "have not won a gold medal since 1938"? Focus on the positive... don't belittle the countries or the athletes... we (USA) sound like such snobs.
3. I'm in the middle of the opening and the commentary is even worse regarding the above comments I have already outlined.
4. Do your homework about one athlete from each country and your broadcast becomes positive, intriguing and full of humanity!
The political statements given during the Olympic coverage was extremely distasteful. I want to watch the Olympics and not listen to distasteful political narrative.
I'm watching the coverage on NBC and the music is so loud that I can't understand what the commentators are saying. Turn it down please.
If you didn't send an American citizen to announce the games because of boycotting China surely you could have found someone other than the lady with an English accent. She talks quickly and with her accent is VERY difficult to understand. I am not enjoying the broadcasts at all. I give you a 1 out of 10 rating.
Could you please tell Tara Lapinski and Johnny Weir not to talk so much, I can't hear the music or enjoy the performance.
Thank you

So many ads during the opening and closing ceremony. Why can't we just watch all the countries in the parade without missing some of them due to ads. Even the split screen ads didn't help that I'd rather mute my TV during those sections.
Skateboarding had awesome commentators but I had to switch from the TV coverage to the internet stream/replay because of ads skipping some skaters. Same for events like BMX park.
They really trying to indoctrinate people with the amount of ads they show. I wasn't getting watching the Olympics. I was watching a bunch of ads with some Olympics on the side.
Everything was going just great until you bring out the odd ball Wier. He is a disgrace to the other commentators who have something to contribute in a professional way. Could be part of the reason your ratings were so low. He is disgusting! He is even an embarrassment to the homosexual community.
The coverage of the olympics was terrible. When events were scheduled totally different evens were shown. Womens soccer scheduled but kayaking appeared. The programing manager at NBC must have been a moron when it comes to what viewers liked. In my view NBC was the worst coverage of olympics ever!
Why in the world would NBC have a British announcer to host the Olympics? There are many great American announcers, women especially, who would do a wonderful job.
I have watched gymnastics my entire life. Have never seen coverage where a commentator talked so much about herself. Who gives a crap about what the announcer is wearing. I don't even understand this level of narcissism. Nastia. It's not about you.
The fact I am Up at 1:40am trying to watch the olympics and I can Watch 1 event actually live on 6 channels is an atrocity. This coverage is absolute garbage. We know time zones, show the games outside of that is just calling us imbeciles.
The NBC coverage of the water sports have been the worst I have ever seen. Artistic Swimming commentator was awlful and she was calling some of these amazing feats with some being "radical" because it wasnt ballet music. What a disappointment! These young women should be praised for such amazing artistry. She needs to be replaced, just stop talking or just tone it down!
The numerous commercial breaks are nauseous. Then when they cut and say they will give you the score after the commercial, they don't on many! Pathetic! Not pleased NBC. Do better and tell your commentators to hush and stick to the sport and tone down the hideous commercials that continue to interrupt the enjoyment of the Olympics.
There was supposedly be a USA VS AUSTRALIA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ON channel NBCSHD, Instead there's beach volleyball men's Roc vs Mex. Typical NBC can't get their act together, bias against women's sports! Shame on them!
I am disappointed not to have more Asian American broadcasters and athletes voices. Why do you have non-Japanese and British announcers introducing us to Japanese culture. Please amplify and uplift our Japanese Americans both living in Japan and in the USA.
