“I found the information I was looking for”

I found the information I was looking for - a background check on a friend - but the original price of $29.95 turned out to be closer to $80. After signing up, I had to pay $10 more for a criminal history check and then it turned out I didn't cancel my subscription in 3 days and they charged me again. Then, apparently, I had agreed to a free trial for another service that began charging me after 10 days. It was way too frustrating and expensive for the one piece of information I needed.
