Many users express frustration over billing problems and the perceived decline in content quality, particularly regarding Netflix originals. Overall, while the platform remains popular for its variety, the growing concerns about service reliability and customer support suggest a need for improvement to retain loyal customers.

Your new rule 1 account per household now inspired my family and all our friends to cancel our subscription. We barely were holding on as it was and you found a way to make it worse. Definitely went from the best to now the worst streaming app officially. Congratulations you suck
I am a college student. I can't watch netflix in my college apartment anymore because it's not a part of my "household". If you are planning on attending school and stay out of the house for extended periods of time, I would suggest another streaming service
I used to LOVE watching Netflix, but now it is kicking me out of shows and/or movies that I'm watching, buffers way too much, and it's getting harder and harder to navigate through the different menus because it is as if it is bogged down. Please fix this. It happened after some sort of update. Also what happened to all of my kids profiles and mine? It only shows my grandson's profile.
It's still a streaming service that provides its own TV shows, however, it has low quality, got rid of every show that was known for, locks you out of account after first payment bounce, and charges the same if not more. Get Hulu or HBO max, both perfect together
I wanted to add a member to our account. Their website says if you upgrade from basic to standard, you can add a nonhousehold user. So I did. When I went to add the other viewer, it charges $7.99! A basic account costs 9.99. So it costs more $13.99 to upgrade and add a user. So I decided to change back to basic and let the other person get their own plan for 9.99. BUT they won't change it back till the next billing cycle. This all took place within five minutes and they can't change it back! So not only is their description of a standard plan misleading, they are full prepared to cheat you by IMMEDIATELY upgrading plans and refusing to IMMEDIATELY downgrade it.
Been a customer since the beginning and all that's changed is price way up and service is sh**t!
Fix your bugs
I just recently changed my plan with netflix to the standard with ads, and to my surprise, you can only watch certain things due to "licensing restrictions". I have a very hard time believing this, I think netflix is just greedy and doesn't want the viewers with cheaper plans to watch everything. I could be wrong, but with other streaming services like hulu, you can watch anything with the ads plan. Netflix's prices have become outrageous recently and along with the selection, I don't think Netflix will last very long. Also, with the thing that two different households can't share the same account is utterly ridiculous. Steaming services are becoming almost as bad as cable anymore. I don't understand how licensing restrictions can stop you from watching certain things with ads. I am very seriously considering getting rid of Netflix, if you are considering getting it, don't. It is a massive waste of money and there isn't even anything good on there to watch anymore.
12 months.that is how long Netflix allowed a person with a different account, email address, and name charge my debt card over and over again. Netflix did not ever check to confirm if the name on the debt card matched the account. Netflix could have a stop in place when names do not match, instead they just let fraudulent activity happen on their platform. Check your accounts especially if you have canceled your membership. When calling the rep was nice (the only positive of this experience), however company policy only allowed them to refund 1 out of 12 fraudulent charges. They did block my card from ever being used on their platform again and block the fraudulent individuals account. This is unacceptable, 1 that they wouldn't have a system in place to prevent fraud and 2 not taking full responsibility for the fraudulent behavior on their platform. Netflix should be held accountable for the fraud they are allowing. Now to reconnect my income and debts to my new account after calling my bank and reporting fraud through Netflix. The issues keep coming. Thanks netflix!
I have been a customer for 6 years. Due to unforseen circumstances had to downgrade my package. Before the change was even supposed to go into effect once I made the change to lower priced package (good quality with ads) we were unable to watch anything on Netflix -- it will either not load or will glitch completely within 20-30 seconds or less & stays frozen from there on. It does not start playing right at any point - no matter how long you sit there or even if you restart it does the same thing - glitch & freeze. I am very disappointed by this. This was going to be a temporary change but have canceled Netflix completely now. They offer a variety of packages so you should be able to purchase any package & still use the service. Use Paramount, Hulu, Peacock, or any other platform because they don't care what package you buy you are still provided your service. For 6 years I have subscribed to a Netflix package of great quality, no ads, multiple screens but now after 6 years needing to change temporarily I'm unable to use it even tho I I'm paying for it. I just want people to be aware how Netflix treats their customers even after many years & want those that are on budget know you will screwed. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this has been going on for a week -- ANYTIME I try to use it on anyone one of the 3 TVs in my house it can't be watched. At 1st thought it was a fluke but after trying multiple times, multiple shows, on multiple TVs for over week - it's definitely no fluke! SO disappointed with Netflix!
Price keeps going up while programming gets worse. Canceled after over a decade and even though I complained about their programming for over the past year, it just continued to get worse. Bollywood and Asian films, Cooking and Reality Shows, Old-School TV shows...I can watch all of this for free on Pluto. Will be subscribing to AppleTV, and a couple Of PBS channels all for what I was paying Netflix monthly for...I need new and fresh content, otherwise why pay for a subscription for the same programming that I left cable for, Ciao Netflix
Netflix continues to stop on you and cannot keep up with it's wording to the true words of the people talking. C'mon y'all are you not bright enough to stop this?
My problem with Netflix is they always start the series and never finish it do you know how mad everyone is and watching half series and you never finish them that don't make any sense stop making series unless you going to finish them
I have separated parents and am not able to watch Netflix on my tv now because of the new dumb@$$ rule they added. My dad owns the account, but I live with my mom. Does that mean I can't watch Netflix anymore? FU
Netflix was good years back. Now it's so difficult to find something interesting to be watched on a weekend. Netflix is becoming more of a serial centric entertainment app instead of having new release movies.
I try to get help I keep getting ask to do same things I have already tried. Very poor service. Have several streaming channel and Netflix is the ONLY one who gives us trouble.
I'd give this business a minus 5 if I could. The overseas people they use are USELESS when it comes to understanding American English. They are nothing more then yes people...unable to accomplish anything useful...why does a company like this become so unethical...corporate GREED I would guess. I was thrown into the premium account (NOT GIVEN THE CHOICE WHEN I FIRST SIGNED IN...I tried to change that within the first 24 hours once I saw that on my account...yet it took them about 10 days to change it...I was charged the premium price anyway and they promised to change it and give me a credit...LIARS! It was finally my cable company (Cox) that gave me the credit! NETFLIX IS VERY, VERY, VERY UNETHICAL!
Although I belong to the 9.99 a month plan as advertised, I have repeatedly been charged $21.89 monthly. I no longer share my account with my children, because I can't. And it would just cost more. The content has dwindled greatly over the years, and I find more value in every, and any other application.
Netflix is such garbage and we consumers are trapped into paying for movies we don't want. When I scroll through the junk draw of movies I feel like I'm a kid again in the 80's when Mom took me to the cheap.99 cent vcr movie store where there were no movie stars or new releases available. This is Netflix now and it's horrible.
Netflix has become a full-fledged cinema production company not just a streaming service.
Their TV series and movies nowadays are higher quality than any other Hollywood movie company out there.
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
