I don`t think you will read this review when choosing Netflix - nowadays everyone knows what it is. Their unique shows and other choices for the price are excellent. Can`t tell what the alternative is
In my experience so far they are reasonably reliable, although on occasion we get loss of sound and sometimes connection for a few seconds as an example. The content though is fairly old, plus with a lot of films i can watch elsewhere without paying. Certainly the quality of the films in many cases is very second rate, with the odd nugget head and shoulders above the rest.
The new sharing clause is laughable. Moves /shows are old. There is too many streaming sites that allows sharing to even consider it. Take notes from blockbuster and the Redbox movies. Oh wait they are nonexistent. The ppl has spoken. Our password our money u can't tell me what to do.
Cancelled
Not worth the 8 dollars! They have an awful selection. They don't have Billy madison, happy gilmore, The other women, with Cameron Diaz, and multiple other great comedy movies. You basically get B rate films and tv shows. Whoever is picking their movie selection needs to be fired!
I have been a subscriber for over 10 years but now it's time to try another streaming service. The content used to be good but now I continually can't find anything that I want to watch. The Harry Meghan deal was an unbelievably stupid waste of OUR money and that's just one example of how low they have gone. On top of the content going down, their rates have climbed sky high as they look to us to pay for their bad choices.
I absolutely hate Netflix with a passion. You can't turn it on with out ever episode or movie they have being full of dies or queers. Liberal agenda is all they push. I will not be renewing my subscription.
Recently binge-watched the last season of Lupin... Thank you netflix for being such a top streaming service. The quality of your Tv serious is beyond the sky, no cap.
By the way, another interesting thing about it, heard of the remake of the GTA trilogy for phones? Having a subscription on Netflix benefits here, too, because you can enjoy this masterpiece on your phone just having it. Download the game and play with the delight! That what i am doing now, starting from GTA 3, of course.
My family has had Netflix for 8 years now and the only negative is they don't have many of the classics. It's hit and miss. Sometimes they're there, but not for long. We could use more of them. Please!
Once, Netflix led the way in Western entertainment, but as of late, almost all of their new content is made for international audiences. It is no wonder that their stock took a 25% shave and they are losing subscribers to their growing competitors. Raising its prices to make up for the inevitable decline. Like AOL in the 90's, Netflix will be relegated to the past. Good riddance
Netflix has recently changed it's policy which means that you can only use their services in the country where you have created the account. Every time you move to a different country you are advised to cancel your old account and open a new one in the different country. This is really inconvenient for expats or those who travel frequently such as myself. Despite this limitation, membership prices are still rising. I have been a loyal Netflix user for 4 years but this change has pushed me to change streaming services, very disappointed.
I started using Netflix.com years ago when they mailed you the DVDs. If the DVD was bad they quickly sent me another. Never had a hassle.
It was a great service then and has only gotten better. They have a good selection of shows. I especially like that I can watch them on my iPad when I'm away from my TV.
Netflix costs a reasonable fee and has a lot of movie and TV choices in various genres. You can even see quite a few new releases shortly after they're available on DVD. If you have limited bandwidth, there is a setting you can select so that it won't use as much as other streaming services, such as Amazon.
Netflix is clearly a decent streaming service that everyone uses. However, the keep raising their prices. They are more expensive than any other service. It feels like they are raising the price every few months. Now I'm up to $19.99, I started at $7.99. It's rediculous for an online streaming service.
I use Netflix daily. No exaggeration.
I love that Netflix has its own original series; these always turn out to be some of my favourite shows.
You have access to a lot of worldwide content on this platform too, which is always interesting!
It's great for on the go, as you can access the app on your phone + tablet, but it's also great at home on the smart tv.
I like that you can share your account with others with separate profiles. I pay £5.99 per month for the basic plan - I hope this doesn't increase again!
Simply, my favorite streaming service. Selection is great and is updated continually. Downloads are "smoking" fast.
The best $24.00 deal out there for movies.
Yes, you can still get DVDs mailed to you... but why?
I also have Amazon Prime, but Netflix is my "go to" movie source.
So, you ask, why do I have still have Amazon Prime? The easy answer... my wife likes the guaranteed 2 day shipping included when she shops. Simple logic eh?
This new business model that started well is gradually deteriorating. More and more connection errors are appearing on any of my devices: TV, tablets and PC. On receiving a "connection error", I switch to other platforms such as HBO or Prime, and they're working fine. Clearly the problem is at Netflix.
I have a 1 Gb optical fibre connection which is working on par to its specs.
And Netflix wants to charge more? Don't make me laugh.
Netflix is amazing. I started using Netflix.com years ago when they mailed you the DVDs. If the DVD was bad they quickly sent me another. Never had a hassle.
It was a great service then and has only gotten better. They have a good selection of shows
Truly atrocious. I have been a member for 10 years, am on the premium plan, and they tell me I'm unable to add extra members and I constantly have to do the household verification nonsense. Horrible customer service. Terrible company ethics. ZERO customer responsibility and understanding. I am eager for the day that this company goes bankrupt and your shareholders die an agonizing death alone. You have NO sense of customer loyalty. I will be telling every single person I meet on this planet to get off this appalling service.
My 8 year old daughter recently started to like pokemon and she asked for a new profile pictures from pokemon on netflix and i wanted to see if i could by any way help her wish come true. There are a lot of kids that like pokemon so i think they should add them.
I think there's a pretty cool streaming service on Netflix. Their original material is incredibly diverse and well done. I enjoy all the excellent movies, TV shows, and so on. Great stream efficiency overall and good pricing choices.
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
The company has a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating its extensive library of content and user-friendly interface, which enhances the viewing experience. However, numerous complaints highlight significant dissatisfaction with rising subscription costs, technical issues like slow loading times, and customer service inadequacies. Many users express frustration over billing problems and the perceived decline in content quality, particularly regarding Netflix originals. Overall, while the platform remains popular for its variety, the growing concerns about service reliability and customer support suggest a need for improvement to retain loyal customers.
