The company has garnered mixed feedback, with some customers expressing satisfaction with their puppy purchases and highlighting effective communication with representatives. However, a significant number of reviews indicate serious concerns regarding fraudulent practices, lack of transparency, and poor customer service. Many customers reported issues with breeders, misleading fees, and inadequate support when problems arose. Overall, while there are instances of positive experiences, the prevalent sentiment suggests a troubling reputation, particularly related to customer trust and the integrity of breeders associated with the platform. Prospective users are advised to exercise caution and conduct thorough research.

I don't care who's fault it is and I don't care how it got on this website but some how my name and email was used to create an account on this website using a false address! I know they had to be a morron who knows nothing about Pattison MS because they used a street address from Idaho and put "Pattison MS" behind it. That street doesn't exist there! Plus I never once opened that account so if you "verify" dog breeders before they can sell as your website says, how could you have let this person use my name and email to create this account? Sounds shady to me!
Created acct, was charged and nickel and dimed to be able to list my puppies. And to be verified. Now can't log in, poor customer service, can't find my adds, believe this is a scam site to get seller and buyers money by verifying and never actually allowing to buyer and seller to communicate unless charging them even more. Ridiculous
We bought 2 Brussell's Griffon Pupps. 1 was over a year old and was in poor health only weighted 4 pounds she really appeared to be neglected very skidish an afraid of very thing. We are still working with her long way to go. The other 1 was scared and skidish he is doing a lot better playing now and greeting folks,he was a lot younger than her. I WOULD NOT BUY FROM THIS BREEDER AGAIN MOST LIKLEY A PUPPY MILL
Back to it Rebecca Thompson sales all her puppies through this site and she is a scam. She changes paperwork after you buy a dog. And tells you stuff about the dog to sale it and this company backs her up to sale dogs. Rebecca Thompson answered and said she would fix her scam and never has and wont responsed to any contacts...
Last year, after a long conversation with Next Day Poodles rep, Jasmine Henderson, I sent $500 via Zelle, as a down payment for the puppy I chose. Then came a flurry of shipping charges and other fees after I'd been told there were none.
I'm a 68- yr old on Social Security, I could hardly afford the $500 but I honestly wanted the puppy for companionship. Jasmine Henderson refused to take my follow-up calls and, ultimately, I was out $500 for trusting Next Day Poodles. Don't make the mistake I did by trusting them … they have only bad intent to get your money
SHAME ON YOU, you awful crooks.
I love the puppy that I got, however, I made the choice to spend over 4,000 on an AKC Scottish Terrier. What I got was not AKC. I did not get any papers. I didn't get any follow-up information on how to get the papers or anything. So I spent $4,000 on a dog that can't be registered as anything other than a canine partner. I tried contacting the company and they have fallen silent on the message center that they set up.
Additionally, I was required to upload his post flight wellness check, which I did less than 24 hours after he was delivered. I uploaded the photos and received no reply even days after. This was required for the 3-year health guarantee. So apparently I got screwed out of that too.
I was on both sides of the fence. I am a breeder and let me tell you it isn't worth it. Buyers can really scam you by requesting a refund after they've received the healthy puppy. I thought, since buyers are protected I would jump and get a puppy I fell in love with. The breeder didn't have a website nor sold anywhere else. Surprise surprise, I was scammed because the dog wasn't real. There were no repercussion nor solutions offered. I strongly recommend you Google the breeder selling you the dog and ensure they are real. Read the reviews form other buyers and possibly check if they are also on other ads.
If i could give a zero i would! If your a breeder do not use this site! Runnn! Long story short I sold a puppy through them. Met all their criteria, got health certificate, everything required for shipping. The buyer broke the contract, refused the puppy at 3 am, so he was sent back to me. I had to isolate him from his siblings for 14 days, get him retested again to make sure he didn't pick up anything. I was told I would be compensated the standard $599 since the buyer broke the contract. Now since apparently they lost the case the buyer won and now they are saying since it was a credit card dispute I'm not getting compensated. Mind you the puppy spend 6 days being transported there and back, he was emotionally damaged. I had to rehabilitate him to know kennels and car rides were okay before he was placed in a new home. And I had to discount him because of the trauma he endored through this whole ordeal. Here's the crap part if I broke contract in anyway I would have had to pay all the penalties. And the buyer would have been compensated. These guys don't care about you or your program. Just don't do it! Go though someone else. Or don't the old fashioned way and take care your own advertising. Very pissed off atm!
I used NextDayPets as a breeder several years ago, but had stopped breeding for some period of time due to the death of my husband. I have now begun breeding again (different breed) and thought I would use them again. I started filling out a new account as, like I said, I have changed breeds. As I am completing the necessary info and adding a puppy listing, I realize that they are charging OVER ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS in addition to my puppy cost! When contacting support, they mentioned that I should sign up with their "Assurance" program rather than their "Signature" program, but what they don't tell you is that they still charge fees, it just puts the fees on the buyer's side and puts your listings WAY down within their listings making the breeder look like they are too cheap to pay for the good service. I cancelled before I ever got a listing up. They obviously only care about making WAY too much money off of my hard work as a breeder. RUN VERY FAST from this site.
We signed up with nextdaypets a couple months ago. First off they topple about $2000 onto each transaction. Second they are terrible with communication and state they are not available on the weekends. When most people purchase dogs on the weekend so someone should be available. They do not let the breeder speak with prospective clients either so you have to rely on their "sales reps "who know nothing about your dogs or the breeds. They require that you use their transportation company. When we had a dog leave Florida to go to Rhode Island it took an entire week for the dog to get there. By the time the dog got there he was severely malnourished and dehydrated. The buyers did not want him because they truly thought it was a different dog. Please purchase your dogs directly from reputable breeders and not through this bogus website. If you have any questions please call me at *******822. Attached is a photo of the puppy the day he left and the day he got to the buyers house.
Lastly, the company did not like me exposing the truth of the matter. Attached is a screenshot of their message to me right after I posted this review.
Unfortunately bad business cannot always be covered up. They must think threats will deter people from expressing their negative and truthful experiences.
The entire concept that there is even a website called "nextdaypets" is unbelievable. A purchaser knows nothing about who the real breeder or conditions are behind the charming photos posted. Equally as bad is that these irresponsible breeders will sell to pretty much anybody. What kind of idiot breeder sells a Golden Retriever to a 20 year old in the military? Seriously? What kind of life did that money grabbing unethical breeder think that this dog would have? Luckily, my son (the 20 year old in the military) came to his senses and admitted that it was a bad call. I now have a pup who is getting the treatment he deserves. Not that I wanted it, but someone has to take care of this poor dog that never should have been created and sold. What a disgusting website.
A few days ago I saw four male Wire Fox Terrier puppies for sale in Ava, Missouri. Asked for additional photos of the puppies and a video, also asked if we could FaceTime to see the puppies and meet the breeder. She couldn't because she only had a flip phone, and a million excuses as to why she couldn't provide additional information on the puppies. Eight emails later we find out she doesn't ship her dogs because it's too expensive, and we never received one picture of the puppies she is advertising. What a SCAM!
So I had a wonderful 13-year-old American pit Bull terrier named Maverick. About 2 weeks ago he died and left a huge hole in my heart. So I was looking for a new American Pitbull terrier. I came across next day pets, I read all the reviews, and there were some negative ones in there, so I was nervous, but I came across a dog I just had to have a beautiful brindle American Pitbull terrier named Clovis 11 weeks old. So I decided to take a risk. Let me tell you next day pets filled the hole in my heart, they were wonderful from the beginning of the process till the end of the process. They were friendly, professional, courteous. They answered all of my texts, and phone calls within minutes. They were absolutely no problems with my credit card or the transaction. They're transportation company was wonderful they cut me informed as to what state they were in and how my dog was doing. They gave me an estimated time of arrival and we're on time. My dog arrived in wonderful condition. And I am now enjoying my new dog thanks to next day pets. I highly recommend them
Hi Jerry! We are so happy to hear you are loving your sweet boy! We are delighted we were able to assist in bringing you years of happiness with your new furbaby! We are always a phone call away should you need anything! Happy Holidays to your family and newest member, Clovis!
Wrong dog sent to me was suppose to come with papers but there was none. I tried getting them and I get the run around. The dog had to have surgery within 5 days of getting him. They don't hold to they're guarantee. Don't use them
What is your name and what puppy did you purchase? Did you purchase from our Signature program or directly from a breeder?
Just came from the Chantilly, VA location. I was concerned when I made the initial appointment because they did not provide pricing online or on the phone. They also emphasized on the phone that you could leave with your puppy that same day. That told me right away that they would pressure me and that they were not concerned about the puppies' welfare. Reputable breeders usually screen potential pet parents and ask for brief interviews, paperwork, and sometimes references. Now this company does not breed pets, but they supposedly represent a variety of breeders who are looking to sell their puppies.
My next issue is that the facility reeked! I have been at many boarding places, dog training facilities, etc. and they do no smell like this place did. It made me wonder if they were properly caring for the puppies and keeping the place clean.
Next problem…the staff was very young. Young kids under 25 who were not dog experts. I am not slighting younger folks, but clearly these young adults and teenagers knew very little.
Next issue…. The lies they told! The sales person I dealt with insisted that the cost of micro chipping a puppy was $2k. I looked it up. It costs $30-$50 on average.
They tried to sell me a pug with papers for around $9k. The pug was 12 weeks old, had her shots, etc. They also provide a 14 day guarantee against Parovirus, and some other health guarantees. I assure you that the short 10-14 day guarantees, cost of puppy, etc. did not justify $9k! This was not a show dog. My last full bred Pug puppy was about $2k.
They also really try to pressure folks into buying. You know sleazy car salesman tactics. I watched a family get so angry that they just got up and left.
When I inquired about a puppy for a price under $3k…they did not have any. They also try to pressure people into financing options. Don't do it. Pay your mortgage, go on vacation! Don't take out a loan for a puppy.
Stay away from this horrible place and find a reputable breeder that has reasonable prices and to cares enough about their puppies to check you out!
Hello Tracie! What breeder did you purchase from? Sounds like a breeder from our MarketPlace. We are not involved in those sales. We are only involved in Signature sales. Our Marketplace is phasing out this year.
I purchased their service in January. Paid a one-time $25 fee and &5.95 to connect with a specific breeder. Found out today they have been charging me $5/ 2 weeks for some other service I don't recall signing up for. Additionally, these charges don't appear in my Nextdaypets.com account, but only in my credit card statements. I called to ask for a refund but got rejected, they said it was in the fine print of the payment agreement. Karen was very rude.
Update after Website's response:
I didn't "opt" to upgrade anything. After reading all the horrible reviews on this website and the better business bureau complaints (more than 25), it appears that the "upgrade" is in the fine print which is legal but sleezy. I didn; t get an email then or any sort of reminder in the following 5 months. Usually respectable companies send reminders of charges or payments posted to accounts, obviously this website is not. In their response they state "User accounts do not show applications or puppy match profiles." Why? Is this part of the scam to not show people what they are paying for?. Lastly, the customer support agent WAS NOT KIND. She was condescending, rude, constantly interrupted me, and refused to hear me out. I consent to share the audio of the phone call to show the world so don't say she was kind. I called her a "Karen" because anyone reading this review will understand what I mean by it. Again, a garbage business model. They scam thousands of people and make millions off this $5 biweekly charge, BE CAREFUL!
The customer called our Customer Support today inquiring about his charges. It was explained to him that on January 6,2021, he created a Puppy Match profile for a Samoyed puppy. He opt'ed to upgrade this profile. Upgraded profiles incur a biweekly $5 fee until you cancel. This is outlined on the payment page. An email is also sent to each customer with instructions on how to cancel. Due to email spam filters, we have no control if that email makes it to their Inbox or Spam/Junk. When calling our support line today, he successfully cancelled his profile and subscription via our automated service. He also submitted an application for 1 puppy on January 6,2021, as well. He then created a User account and upgraded and paid $5.95 for 30 days. This account allows one to contact all the nonsubscribing advertisers across our site. All 3 of these are different and not associated with one another. User accounts do not show applications or puppy match profiles. Ramsey was issued 2 refunds of $5 and was told he could expect to see these refunds post to his account in 2-4 business days. He then instructed he was calling his bank to dispute. The Customer Support agent was kind and answered all of his questions. He may not have liked her answers, but he was provided with accurate answers. The Customer Support agents name was Beth, not Karen. Calling someone a "Karen" because you do not like the response is really not kind. The agent was simply doing her job and answered his questions.
We bought a dog thru NextDayPets, but ended up not getting the dog and the breeder gave us a BS excuse that our pet was dying a few days we were supposed to get her. The representative did her best for us to try and get us the dog. But being the middleman, you are only sending the messages to the buyer. We had asked for a Vet checkup proof, and the breeder thought it was odd asking that. So that's when we thought things might be shady. A few days before, we were supposed to get the puppy, we got a call that our dog isn't doing very well. Anyways, do not get a pet here if the breeder seems off and they can't give you simple information like a doctor's report. It's like they have something to hide.
If you get a breeder form Missouri, DON'T do it. If the breeder refuses to communicate with you, then that's a big sign. Here's the breeder who's crappy, we spoke to a ‘Lorna', if that's even her name.
Some of these sellers are scams BUT, I got my puppy from here and have had her for 5 months. She is healthy and was born on a farm. I did have to drive 3 hours to get her but worth it!
I have dealt with this site twice the first time I picked the puppy out on the site by picture and got ahold of someone and set up the appointment. So we drove about 1 and 1/2 hours to get her and she was a completely different dog. So then i saw another one on the site and set up an appointment to go look at this puppy. So after purchasing her and getting to know her and look at her daily I don't beleive she has any of the breeds that they say she is. I think people are really taking advantage of people today in the puppy business just to make a buck. It's really sad that is so out of control. So lesson learned. I will keep her as I have gotten attached and spoil her rotten but I am a little disappointed. I will not use this site ever again nor refer anyone to it M. M
Hello Peggy! When you purchase a puppy that is not a Signature puppy, you are buying at your own risk. We are not involved in those transactions. When you purchase a Signature puppy, we work with the breeder and buyer throughout the whole transaction. What you experienced will never happen with a Signature puppy. If it ever does, we will make it right for you. I apologize this has happened to you. Have you addressed this with the breeder you purchased from?
Took non-refundable money on pet that was already sold. Should have looked at all the negative reviews for this outfit first.
Hello Carl, All you have to do is contact support@nextdaypets.com for a refund. It's that simple. Our contact information is on our HELP page as well. :)
Answer: Applications are optional. You may still make contact with the advertiser by clicking on CALL or EMAIL.
Answer: For our Signature Puppies, no. For all the other listings, you would have to contact the breeder directly to inquire about this.

Hello Faith. The breeder you are referring to has been with us since 2006. She has had 0 complaints until yours. Some breeders cannot provide the things you are wanting and choose to only sell locally. She is not a scam nor a bad breeder. She is just not equipped to send you the things you are wanting as well as shipping out of state. Most breeders can accommodate you it's simply a matter of contacting a few different breeders. We stand behind our breeders.
