Nicelocal

I have just noticed these guys have taken photos from my landscaping business and put them on their website as well as changing the services I provide. I have not asked for this and have emailed asking for it to be removed as this is illegal. Lets see what they do...

Initially, I used the service as a user when, while on a business trip, I was looking for a good cafe located nearby. I liked the way the information was structured from the inside, and I decided to use the service for my bakery. Just like I did, new clients found me. There haven't been many of them, but I'm happy anyways)

I keep putting up reviews for my lawyer and Farmers Insurance. Every single time immediately they take them down because they're one star. They will not leave any reviews up that are one star. I've had my review taken down at least 15 times in the last 30 days. Every time I put it back up they take it down. Horrible website not accurate at all

They are a fraud website not run by a team but by an individual. He/ she will post rubbish reviews including damaging personal reviews and charge you money to remove those reviews. Pl file a police case against this website in case you are having the same issue

Poor information
This company displays reviews which they have lifted from other websites, but have not kept them up to date, showing incorrect rating for companies, would suggest very poor management. And would pay very little attention to the information they display.

I use the site to search for various services. I like the way you can understand how far this or that organization is from you, you can immediately get acquainted with the prices and study the reviews - which are mostly true, since the moderation on the site is serious. I've posted the odd review myself

I use the website regularly. I find it an honest, easy-to-use platform with lots of reviews and various information on restaurants, salons, and other businesses. There are many different filters for easy searching. And in general, if I just enter a type of service and the region in the search, Nicelocal is one of the first links I see. So I end up using it most often.

I've been using Nicelocal for over a year now. The reviews on Nicelocal have helped me out on multiple occasions during that time. I think customers should leave as many comments as possible and tell people what they like or don't like about a company. From what I can tell, the companies on Nicelocal react to reviews really fast and respond to what people write. Feedback is super important. It's nice to go back to a place that reacted to your comment and is trying to do better.

It's only quite recently that I posted on Nicelocal and paid for a paid promotion, but I can already see the result. New clients are showing up and some of them have already written a couple of reviews, which I've been pleased to see. I tried advertising on social media and somehow it didn't work, but here it is going great. The investment paid for itself in 2 months

I found Nicelocal by accident: when I was looking for reviews about a particular businesses, Nicelocal appeared first in the list. Since then I look on it for everything I need. A convenient site, simple to use, a huge amount of information; and I also like the fact all the reviews are by real people, not dummy people. I write reviews quite often myself, this service is really helpful.

I posted a card for my salon on Nicelocal, and thanks to reviews our customer numbers have increased with each passing month. Recently I purchased a Premium package: they put the card together beautifully, and brought our information up to date. I'm happy that I chose this particular website to promote my business.

Where did they get these 2 stars/reviews from? Who wrote the reviews? Why did I get 4 stars? Why do I have a profile that I can't access on their site? Why do they have a website that has been down for 4 years? Why will they not respond to my email inquiries? They're forcing me to sign up if I want to see who reviewed me, they have 2 reviews/stars for a profile they fabricated. There is no transparency in their actions and they put up a profile for me that I have no way of controlling or owning myself. It's basically like someone wrote a smear article. I will pursue every avenue to return the favor.

I write Nicelocal reviews pretty often and enjoy reading what other Nicelocal users think about various companies. I'm not shy about saying exactly what I don't like about a business. If my review gets ignored, I never go to that business again. If the owner contacts me and tries to smooth things over, I give them a second chance and might even leave a positive review if all goes well.

I recently had to call a plumber in the middle of the night. I did a search on Nicelocal and immediately found a bunch of companies that offered this service. I was a little confused at first, but then I saw that each company had a rating, reviews, and even pics. I picked one of them and called them up, and the plumber showed up just an hour later. Nicelocal helped me solve my problem really quickly and made me confident I'd get good results. I definitely recommend it.

I found Nicelocal while planning my wedding on my own. I had to find a venue, a photographer, a makeup artist, a stylist, and a whole bunch of other things too. I figured out what Nicelocal was and realized how much it can help you make good decisions when my wedding went off without a hitch. I picked businesses from the top of the search results, and everyone I hired was just as good as Nicelocal said they would be.

I really like Nicelocal. It's a great recommendation service. I always check it for info about companies before I go there. The reviews are honest, and I write reviews after going to business too. I regularly write reviews on Nicelocal, and I sometimes a leave complaints too. The business owners react very quickly. It's nice to have that kind of fast feedback. One time I complained about the service at a pizza place, and they sent me a free pizza to say sorry. But keep in mind that you can't write a fake bad review. They follow up on all the reviews, and if they can't confirm them, they delete them.

I have 5 star ratings on my page and this site has me listed as 4.6 stars-with the glowing reviews of my business listed on the page! So when you look up my business it is listed as 4.6-when you take the time to read the reviews you can see it's all 5 star ratings. But the first glance is a 4.6
Who gives them the authority to wrongly lower ratings of business?

Crap. I worked very hard to build up my company and I don't need any additional marketing I get enough business from referrals. I don't appreciate them taking pictures off of my website and posting them, without my authorization, on to a page they created for my business. Their description of my business is full of spelling mistakes and not at all written in a professional language. They wrote we offer certain services we don't actually offer and didn't even review the spelling mistakes before posting. I contacted them at the email below asking them to delete the profile and they never responded. Their review system is whack, you can post reviews anonymously without even identifying yourself or by just clicking on the stars in error…. Such a stupid system and they are unethical. I wouldn't give any value to anything posted on their website and the reviews don't match at all what is on google!

My neighbour (BC Roofing and Renovation, Midland) is slandering me throuh Google reviews. Using and posting this review puts Nice Local in the middle of what looks like a Defamation law suit. This is NiceLocals.ca 6 week legal notice that they too will be involved in my slander suit.
