After waiting almost 3 months for our couch to be delivered we were left very disappointed. The back support keeps slipping thus pushing the seat out and it becomes uncomfortable to sit on. We have tried using Velcro but it doesn't stick and is useless. We wanted a good quality leather couch that's why we came to Nick Scali but we are left unsatisfied and feel we would of received the same quality at Fantastic Furniture.
I waited 7 months for my new lounge and lounge arrived with chaise on backwards- see photo. I could have coped with wrong side but backwards! After 3 days I am still chasing them to resolve the matter. According to their website if I want to return the item I need to pay for shipping. Such a joke. No sense of urgency, no feedback, nothing. I am expected to keep waiting in a phone queue to talk to someone at their off shore call centre who knows nothing. I would not buy from this store again under any circumstances.

We purchased a sofa set in December 2020 and delivery of 11-13 weeks was given. After multiple delays, furniture should finally be delivered, but they are refusing delivery as due to long weekend final payment has not cleared. Despite being able to provide evidence of payment, they refuse to deliver. Handed from driver to main company to local branch, but everyone simply stated company policy. No offer of compensation for late delivery. No personal support. Just a big company with no heart,
The delivery times gives are not accurate times keep getting extended out by months with empty I'm sorry statements given to you as the customer. And you can only talk to someone on a 1300 number ( if you can understand them they also take no responsibility) you can't talk to your local store you ordered through.
Then when your finally long overdue sofa is due to be delivered their incompetent staff book you in on the wrong delivery day ( a day when they don't do deliveries to your area) so then your delivery is Even further delayed. They are really happy to take your money in advance but not take any responsibility or pride is delivering your product as promised

I purchased a leather lounge in an extended sale. I asked M... from West Gosford store if the sale would be extended. She replied a firm "NO" I then asked how about the end of financial year sale?. Again she said no. I purchased the lounge ( have to wait 3 months). I went in two weeks after purchase and the item I got has been reduced by $700. Head Office would not extend the discount to me.:-( The manager of the store was very nice. He gave me a cleaning kit $100 and a store credit of $250. Can you say better than nothing? What can i get for $250:-(
Worst service ever, made payment in full, bed delivered with part missing.replacement due following week.then day before receive email saying it will probably be delivered in a month, no reason given for delay. Extremely poor( non existent customer service) Had to phone and find out what was going on several times.still waiting for promised call back.no apologies and very vague with delivery information. $170 to deliver a couch that took 11+ weeks to get here. They cannot even break down or remove the boxes. Paid a LOT less for delivery from other stores who cleaned up after themselves. I will NEVER buy from this pathetic company again.
Confirmed a delivery between 11 am to 3 pm. No show, no phone call from driver or Nick Scali. After many phone calls to Nick Scali call centre, still no idea where the driver was. At nearly 6pm, delivery truck arrived. Total 3 delivery workers. But the leader spent more than 15 mins to say they could not found a parking then asked us to reschedule or delivery the furniture to our apartment without assemble them. We felt so disappointed this happened. Cause we wasted whole day, not going to work, staying at home waiting for this "Reschedule"! What a joke Nick Scali!

Ordered Nikita lounge suite. Called them Day 1 with issues, lodged a service request and sent photos. Fabric threads over the lounge suite. Half of the material appeared second hand, faded and stretched which created a terrible ripple effect. Corner cushion has zero support - unable to sit on it.
Sent out a technician that sat on the couch while very dirty and marked it. He agreed verbally that it either needed to be re stapled and pulled tighter or replaced.
Called back after not hearing anything to find that they had closed my service request.
The woman argued with me about RE opening it and then agreed to send out an 'independent technician' that came out twice.
Today they tell me there's no fault and suggested I read their booklet on lounge purchasing, refused refund, refused to fix, refused to replace.
The couch now groans and squeaks when sat on.
Will never go back, and will ensure that I tell everyone I meet about the terrible experience.
Table arrived with the base unevenly painted and rust.
Six or more emails and numerous text messages and finally got a response on change over date, then Nick Scali cancelled the delivery at last moment, still waiting and no contact.
I bought the table in October 2022, it's now June 2023. I will never buy from Nick Scali again.

I honestly loved my lounge but the quality of the fabric is far below standard and don't even get me started on warranty. What a joke! You get better couches that last from fantastic furniture. We have a couch under 2 years old and the fabric has faded lighter in some patches and then a orange/yellow fade. Our couch sits in the middle of the house and always have block out blinds down. But they won't fix our couch or do anything more about it blaming a window we have in the lounge room.
Second of all they ask you to get another opinion from a lounge repairer but anyone who has a slight interest with Nick Scali won't do it as a conflict of interest. So yet again I have a couch not even two years old that looks like $#*!. Oh and don't worry about the two emails we have sent saying that someone will get in contact with you, they won't, don't even bother. Just save yourself the time and don't buy their $#*!.
And nothing can be done about it. Totally pissed.

Purchased the Valeria lounge L shaped in 2017. Beautiful lounge but since then have had to have multiple call outs to have the frame repaired, which also included lounge picked up and returned to the factory for repair. We do not have young children jumping on the lounge and are all within average body mass weight ranges. The customer service is excellent for sending out technician and the technicians are all very professional but how many times do I need to call Nick Scali to send out a technician? Very frustrating that this keep occurring and I cannot relax and enjoy my lounge. Spoke to team multiple times without much resolve. Just received a very generic email. So disappointing.

We purchased 4 pieces of furniture from Nick Scali costing a lot of money - many months of waiting and 2 of those arrived broken we did not want to accept them on arrival but NS delivery refused to take them back. After over 6 months of fighting they took one piece back and had to involve my bank to get our refund months later - still fighting as we have a lounge that is broken that we can't use. Had to go out and buy another lounge. We saved for ages to get this furniture and the company just does't care once they have your money.

Purchased a cavendish lounge just over two years ago, the frame is cutting a hole in the leather due to insufficient padding between the frame and the outer upholstery. Nick Scale response too bad it's out of warranty not that it's been manufactured poorly!
In general the service is quite bad quality, I bought a leather sofa from them, which comes with factory defect. Tried to call the hot line within the same day of delivery to sort out the issue, however their customer service team runs in a circle and repeat the same question over and over again. No solution and pointing fingers to me, if there is a negative star I will rate them that will be good.
After rejecting 4 dining chairs weeks ago due to poor workmanship, & being promised 2 deliveries since, been told today to wait a further 2 weeks for delivery! Even though stock is available. Ordered 2 in stock items from the same store on the same day because I do not want to wait until stock is delivered to Australia from overseas.
Only 1 item was delivered as promised and a text message saying the other item was being rescheduled to one week later due to 'no truck in the area' on the day of delivery. This is NOT true because the other item is being delivered to the same address.

When I asked how long is the maximum waiting time, I was told you might need to wait for long time and there is no specific time of delivery in the contract. So I can't cancel it now, it is all in their hand and they have no liability. Pls read the contract before signing. Very poor service.

The Hunter Leather Lounge we purchased had a tear, was replaced. However, the new replacement has a 2.5 centimeters height discrepancy in one of the lounge seats. Unfortunately, after scheduled bookings from their offshore phone provider representatives we have received last minute text of "the technician is sick." TWICE that has happened; this is not a fobbing off of hoping we will "go away and live with this inferior" product, After 8 text correspondence and speaking to offshore service providers (no direct line to branch at all) I am fed up. Contacting Consumer Affairs and will use the power of many social media news/outlet to share my dissatisfied experience with this company. Ther is nothing Italian in any Nick Scali product!

I was treated really well the day of Purchase then badly. Waited many months for my suite. Have had it less than a year it has not enough padding and leather very low quality and has been put on extremely loosely and needs alot more filler. Waiting for it to be done. Very poor quality. One of the delivery persons seemed to be on drugs. He could hardly speak, keep his eyes open and stand on his feet. He almost fell multiple times. When he spoke, he was aggressive, patronising, sexist and outright rude. Left a dirt mark on the furniture from his filthy hands. Moved unsteadily with wide movements with something sharp in his hand that he used for opening the boxes.
He was seemingly intentionally careless with the furniture, tossing and rolling the boxes, rather than using the trolley. His behaviour was aggressive, threatening, displaying superiority.
I contacted Nick Scali customer care just to receive absolutely no reaction.
It would appear, that this fits company policy. Fantastic.

Keep well away from this store. The manager and the second in charge ripp me off for over $470 in an order they could not deliver. Promise the money back within 7 days. And still no refund. Danger Danger Will Robinson.
