Yesterday I went to a Nordstrom rack store in San Leandro,Ca.Among other things I found a pair of shorts Which I liked. I am size 34. They had 32 and 36. A kind lady was able to locate one in Dublin,a few miles away(one pair only). I rushed to Dublin,without taking a picture, or remembering the brand.There I found the nicest young lady Victoria. Based on my description,style,color,she went in the back.3-4 minutes later she came back holding them with a beautiful smile on her beautiful face.she made my day. How wonderful will be life with Victoria(S) EVERYWHERE..
Nordstrom Rack uses OnTrac shipping which is notorious for "losing" packages. My package was "lost" but this was only determined after I repeatedly contacted Nordstrom Rack via their customer service chat and phone number. I was able to get a full refund by calling their number and clearly explaining my situation, however, I can only imagine the number of customers that wouldn't advocate for themselves in that way due to a variety of reasons. This would lead me to believe there are many NR customers which do not receive their purchase yet NR still profits. Seems clear that NR cares about profit far more than their reputation and/or customer satisfaction. This being said, I'd shop at NR only in-person at an actual storefront, never again online.
How do you justify selling items that you do not stand by. I purchased an expensive purse and the leather is already wearing off after 1 month. The cashier that I approached agreed that this was not ok and called over someone from that department. This employee was very rude and told me too bad! It is a discounted store and they ONLY return items that still have tags on them and have not been worn. Trust me, if I knew this purse was going to fall apart so quickly I would not have purchased it in the first place! I sent an email to cancel my online account and was told it was done but am still receiving emails. I will never purchase anything at NR again based on this experience. I am a Nordstrom card holder and am tempted to cancel that as well.

Went to the Rack on Black Friday - the store was jammed but there were no lines at checkout - they had every cashier station staffed for quick check out. The inventory was awesome - selection fabulous - deals incredible! The Rack rules!

I placed an order in December 2021. Received most of the items in a reasonable time but got a box yesterday (6 weeks post order date) with the last portion of the order which should have contained 3 dresses. Instead, when I opened the untampered package, it contained only two of the three dresses. I contacted customer service immediately and the representative stated that they would submit the information. Today, I received an email stating that the refund was not approved. I contacted customer service again to make an inquiry on why I was not being refunded for an item that was not shipped. I received a second email stating that I need to contact my local police department to report theft. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and response! The only thief is the company who didn't include the item in the shipment but will not make the customer whole. After shopping with Nordstrom Rack for years, this situation is a complete turnoff and I will no longer support this company.

They are a mean bunch. After a month of waiting for my paid in full order (including 2 phone calls enquiring on its status), I got an email out of the blue initiating a return for my order. When I called, they said the package had been returned by the shipper due to an incomplete address. When I pointed out that the problem was on their end -- my address is correct on all the emails I received from Nordstrom Rack they completely evaded the issue. Since I live in Canada and need to pay currency exchange, I lost $10 due to their mistake. When I asked for the money -- they offered me free shipping if I ordered something else - but no refund due to their mistake -- they should have done that!.
The way they handled me on the phone -- can I put you on hold while I check with my supervisor, oh, my supervisor isn't answering, can I call you back (they didn't -- they sent an email saying the supervisor says that there will be no compensation because the address was incomplete).

I ordered a bag that was on sale (MJ tote) then turns out it was from a different company took over 3 weeks to get in the states no updates unless you go to original email then I never received my bag that was delivered and now I can't get anyone to help me because it's from China will never order from this store again

Ordering from Nordstrom rack is easy but what I totally dislike and I never experienced this with any other department store is when you purchase an item on line for example shoes they charge you for the label so you do not get your full amount that you pay for back I think that is really crappy. I do not live any where close to a Nordstrom Rack the closest one is about 3 hours away I think this company could afford to have a pre paid label for heavens sake. I will think twice before ordering something again from this company

1. They use laser ship which will leave your packages next to your mailbox by the road
2. When USPS loses a package they want you to wait two weeks after the date the package was suppose to be delivered before they will consider the package lost and issue a refund.
The cost of products sold there are too much for the poor customer service they exhibit.

These are really the worst shoes I've ever had, I just wore them once and can throw them away. Therefore, I warn you not to buy there, the quality does not justify the price.

I paid for the item $101.32 and got confirmation by email. After a few seconds I've got another email with refund confirmation because they don't have this item in stock. But refund is $90.92! They made more than $10 in seconds for nothing! It's undisguised fraud!

The product is in transit for more than a week, UPS says, they didn't receive the package from the rack yet. The agent is so thick and rude that I asked to talk with the supervisor. I have been put in a hold and after about 20 minutes I had to hang up. Doesn't get any worse than this. Spend a few more dollars and buy from other stores.

I'm speechless. Their clothing is sub-standard as is their (lack of) customer service. Don't bother. Nordstrom Rack is nothing like Nordstrom, where I've been shopping since 1988 (Los Angeles store) and most recently at the Westchester. I've been shopping online at Nordstrom since the pandemic started. No more. Not even sure I want to go back to Nordstrom when I can, given how awful my experience with Nordstrom Rack has been.

I've shopped on Nordstrom rack online for a decade now. And for a decade they love to get you to order things and then slowly but surly email you that it is not longer in stock. Well when I ordered it in the first place there was nothing starting low stock, and why are you selling so much you don't have. Really why it makes me mad is stuff I add in my cart that I didn't necessarily want but would give me free shipping is the only things that don't get canceled. Everything I was really trying to order does. This to me is a scheme to get people to purchase anything from them. Knowing they will cancel random items in orders. Get your $#*! together Nordstrom rack.

I ordered a pair of Betula sandals. Paid $49.99 plus shipping of $13.00. They arrived when they said it would. Pulled them out of the box and they were awful. Big glob of glue on the strap and the stamp on the side was placed in the wrong spot. Looks like they tried to wipe it off and put it on correctly. Well now you see where they did it and it looks cheap. They will not do anything.

First i received pre-shipping label and my card was charged, after 10 days with my money and two calls finally the item was shipped. I received very cheap fake sunglasses in a box from different company. I returned and lost around 7 $ in all this. I wont order anymore from this company. I learned the lesson.

Ordered shoes for a gift and a month later still no item, no tracking information and no updates! I call and customer service doesn't know anything so do bother calling. I'm immediately returning and not shopping at Nordstrom Rack again! Worst experience

I was notified of a delay, when I responded 3 hours later that I did not want the order I was told I was "too late" to cancel. 8 enormous boxes arrived, I was given one return label and Customer Service was unable to have them picked up. 8 trips to the PO and return shipping at my expense. Shocking considering how customer oriented Nordstrom is. Completely unmanageable and inconsiderate.

I made an order on 10/11/2016, with the promise that my items would ship in 2-4 days.
I waited until 10/17/2016, taking the weekend into account, but my order status did not change.
When I contacted Customer Support, they informed me that they had been experiencing major order delays and that I could expect my item to ship on 10/21/2016 at the latest. That is a full 8 days after time of purchase. It'll take another 2-3 days for the shipment to arrive. Had I not reached out to Nordstrom Rack first, I wouldn't have even known about this development.
Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed in how business was conducted and do think Nordstrom Rack should take measures to compensate customers who were affected by their shoddy planning. The only positive is that they were very response via Live Chat--of course, their responses were just copy-pasted excuses.

These people are terrible. No tracking send items USPS at Christmas time. So you don't know when they are coming for someone to steal. Placed order on December 10 said my order would be here by Christmas. It is the nite of 23rd nothing.

Both Nordstrom and the rack have unbelievable poor customer service and bad products. Nordstrom cancelled my order when I never said anything about canceling, took me 6 representatives to finally get an answer. Seriously, why hire sales associate that will just end the chat conversation without looking into customer's problems? Its like they didn't want to be there! How unprofessional. Then, I decided to buy from the Rack instead because I had a gift card. I was really excited about getting some makeup and skincare products, but no they sent me used eyeshadow palette and used Mario Badescu skincare. This was even more disappointing than earlier on with the cancellation product. That experience made it clearer for me to never purchase with Nordstrom anymore! Won't be purchasing from both rack and Nordstrom anytime soon.

I have ordered many items from the online store (e.g., dresses, make up and sun glasses), and have no complaints. The prices are very good. The return process is easy. Most recently, I ordered a maxi dress that I never received even though USPS sent me an email indicating that it was delivered to my home on 5/19. I called their customer service department at almost 10PM EST (They stay open late). The agent was very nice. She processes a claim with USPS for the lost item without me having to ask. She also processed a full refund when she found that the item was no longer in stock. She also processed a request for me to receive free shipping on my next order for the inconvenience. Nordstrom Rack will continue to be one of my "go to" sites for shopping online.

Tried to buy almost a hundred dollars worth of stuff (to get the free shipping) but the page wouldn't let me "place order" no matter how many different ways I filled in my billing and shipping information. Contacted customer service twice, at the beginning and end of the day, and the second time around they said there was a problem with the website accepting credit information and to download an app. I don't feel like making an account, finding all the clothes again, uploading information, etc. etc. After trying so many times on the website.
Shame because the clothes looked great and had good reviews on the site but if your customers can't even purchase the clothes you have online I don't know what you're doing.

These folks are a mess. I bought 2 pairs of uggs on sale 9/22. Totaled $250. The bs shipping partners they have sent my boots to the wrong address clearly based off the picture. I filed a dispute with paypal the same day. Paypal said Nordstrom was investigating. 10/13 still haven't been reimbursed or even acknowledged by Nordstrom. I'm so mad because those was for my daughter's bday. I need them to do better by their customers.

I ordered a pair of womens embelished flats size 9 1/2. What I received was mens gray sperry size 10. The return process was terrible but worst part was three separate customer service people who could not send replacement (just go online and reorder) and told me my money would not be refunded for their mistake for three weeks. Unacceptable. Today I will never walk into a Nordstrom Rack again.
