Yesterday I went to a Nordstrom rack store in San Leandro,Ca.Among other things I found a pair of shorts Which I liked. I am size 34. They had 32 and 36. A kind lady was able to locate one in Dublin,a few miles away(one pair only). I rushed to Dublin,without taking a picture, or remembering the brand.There I found the nicest young lady Victoria. Based on my description,style,color,she went in the back.3-4 minutes later she came back holding them with a beautiful smile on her beautiful face.she made my day. How wonderful will be life with Victoria(S) EVERYWHERE..

Nordstrom Rack uses OnTrac shipping which is notorious for "losing" packages. My package was "lost" but this was only determined after I repeatedly contacted Nordstrom Rack via their customer service chat and phone number. I was able to get a full refund by calling their number and clearly explaining my situation, however, I can only imagine the number of customers that wouldn't advocate for themselves in that way due to a variety of reasons. This would lead me to believe there are many NR customers which do not receive their purchase yet NR still profits. Seems clear that NR cares about profit far more than their reputation and/or customer satisfaction. This being said, I'd shop at NR only in-person at an actual storefront, never again online.

I placed 3 different orders. Everyday the status for shipping changed - the orders never shipped. 10 days later I received an email apologizing for the delay on one order - no explanation on why or anything about the other two. Four days later I got the same email. Three days after that I called customer service. They blamed the chaos on re-organizing the warehouse before the holidays. I asked to cancel 1 of the three orders and was told "no problem". The next day I received an email that all three of the orders shipped. They sent 3 separate orders in 1 box. When they realized 1 order had been cancelled they asked UPS to return all 3 orders to them once it arrived in Pa (final destination from CA). Now I have to wait 2 weeks for them to process and another 2 weeks to re- ship the two orders I didn't cancel. Oh and they can't expedite any of this. They don't have a button o. Their computer to upgrade delivery and other moronic excuses. So order placed Oct. 7 and BILLED for and ETA to complete order Dec 1. And that ends my patronage of the Rack.

I opened the live chat to ask a question about shipping carriers. I asked which shipping carrier they use, FedEx, UPS or USPS and explained to the customer service employee that I live in a place where USPS does not deliver to physical addresses. First of all, they refused to answer the question until I provided a first and last name, then their response was that they may use any of the three depending on the order. So I asked how to make sure my order would be sent via FedEx or UPS, or if I should use a PO Box, their response was that they don't ship to PO Boxes and if USPS doesn't deliver to homes I should contact the Post master, and that there is no way to select a specific carrier. In my opinion that is bad customer service.

After 3 days of waiting, I've recieved an email with words:
"We want to say that we're sorry. Unfortunately, we will not be able to fulfill your recent order". Gyus are you even serious? You even won't explane me what whas the reason of your cancelation! I reviewed email in 7am in the morning. To say that i am mad and disappointed is to say nothing!

No wonder Nordstrom Rack has a more customer than original building. A smart shopper happy to purchase at this store. This is different from ordinary outlet store.

I purchased a dress as a gift for my sister on Christmas two weeks before Christmas. She didn't like it and it didn't fit her right plus the fabric was too rough on her skin. I took the dress to Nordstrom Rack across from Galleria Mall in Redondo Beach, the manager was so rude and declined me the return saying it was a final sale dress and that I should have known. I was very surprised because I would never buy a dress with a final sale sign on it. I wanted to try another location hoping they would believe me, so I went to the Rack in Elsegundo and the manager there didn't even want to hear my explanation or look me in the eye. She declined my request for a return. I swore to her that I didn't see it and even if I had seen it, I would not have known that the final sale word is a non refundable one because It never happened with me before. I felt so embarrassed for the way she dealt with me. Yet I have called customer service several times and each time I get someone that puts me on hold over and over again only to get someone at the end telling me they would not return the dress. I feel I'm punished to keep a dress in my closet that's theirs. They're forcing their merchandise on me. This is what I get for being a loyal customer of Nordstrom. Stay away for Nordstrom Rack. They're so disrespectful and unprofessional not to mention how rude in stores and on the phone. No more shopping from them. If playing customers for fools is how they make their profits, then people should be aware and stay away. I'm so upset at how disrespectful they have treated me with this matter.

Several orders have gotten canceled five days or even several weeks after I ordered. A few hours I could I understand but this has really messed up my holiday shopping.

Alyssa Solis Nordstrom rack Baybrook gives Excellent customer service always. She always post the customers first and is there to provide anything that the customer needs she puts Nordstrom Rack number one so I am giving her number one for great customer service.

I ordered a pair of boots on December 17 and it said they would arrive in 3-5 days. 5 days later and I still didn't get the boots. I called once and the rep told me that they were out of those boots and he doesn't know why it showed they were still in stock. I call back a few days later and talk to another rep that tells me that they are not out of stock and my boots are being processed and I should receive tracking information soon. Called again a few days later and the lady tells me she will give me a refund and it will take 3-5 business days. Call back in 5 business days with no refund and they tell me my boots have been shipped and will receive a tracking number in 2-3 days. Call back again with still no tracking number for them to tell me that my boots have not been shipped, but they are still processing and the system is just behind! 7 days later, I get an email that gives me a tracking number, so I track my package and it tells me it has already been delivered 6 months ago to somewhere in Hawaii! There were supposed to be a Christmas present and I am still without them a month later! I do not recommend this site, and I will never buy anything from here again!

I'm a huge bargain shopper and in my opinion, Nordstrom Rack's prices are still pretty up there. I only really shop there during the clear the rack sales! I have scored numerous pairs of boots during their 50% off boot sale at the end of April earlier this year as well a Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag for a penny! Yes, it's possible to buy something for just one cent! The reason why some items can ring up as one cent is because they weren't supposed to be on the sales floor anymore due to not being able to sell. I learned that some employees overlook these items and many customers, like myself, have gotten away with paying a single penny for something worth $300 or more. A good tip is to scavenge through clearance racks for items that have been marked down several times cause there's a higher chance of scoring penny finds within those items. It's all a matter of shopping during their biggest sales of the year and having patience to score deals for as low as a penny! Definitely take advantage of clear the rack sales.

TERRIBLE BUSINESS! Ordered a very expensive item, received confirmation email, received a shipping confirmation. The arrival date came and went and then I could no longer track the package. It never arrived and I had no answers. I spent an hour and a half on the phone and eventually got a refund. I didn't want a refund. I wanted the product they said they had available that I paid for. It was a scam I was a "one day sale". The item is no longer on their website. They took my money and if I wouldn't have spent an hour and a half on the phone yelling at someone I would have never gotten any money back and no package. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!

I spent weeks trying to receive three orders I placed on the same day. Half of one shipped to after 6 days of processing, the other half which I ordered at the same time I will be receiving next week and the third has yet to be shipped. I have talked to 4 different representatives each telling me different stories telling me that the 2-4 day prediction given on the site for shipping is actually 4 days for processing, 5 days to ship. But for my orders, they have been taking a 6 days or more to processes and even longer to ship. I asked if they could just cancel my third order since one of the representatives told me it was still preparing to be packed after it has passed a week. The first told me to just wait a few more days and after that, the next rep told me they were processing it and told me she did not know if they even had the item in stock and that I would receive an email it not. Wait a couple more days and the next rep tells me they do have it in stock and they have been having complications and I would still have to wait. I will never shop at nordstrom rack online again. Do yourself a favor and shop in-store. It is not worth the wait or risk.

I ordered shoes through their website. I had been hunting for a nice pair of simple black dress shoes for about six months. I found a pair of Magnanni
Mario Leather Derby shoes in my size. It was a brand I knew to be high quality at a still hefty, but manageable price. The order was in process, and due to COVID19 I figured things were just delayed. They never showed up. A month and a half later I talk to customer service. It looks like they never actually processed the order (no way for me to tell that) and as a result no shipment order was sent to a storage facility. They are now out of stock in my size.

The service agent was very nice and apologetic, but all they did was offer to allow me to purchase a shoe that was up to $30 dollars more expensive at the same price as my original shoe. There were a grand total of TWO black shoes this applied to, both of which were ugly and not at all what I wanted. What a joke. No "hey sorry about our screw up and wasting your time, here is a voucher or a credit you can use on any shoes." I will not be purchasing anything through this company again. They clearly do not actually care about customer service.

BE CAREFUL WHEN RETURNING BY MAIL!
I returned a few items a month ago, using their return label and email of items returned. Nevermind that they charge $6 for that (and then companies are surprised why everyone move to buy at Amazon), but the worst is that I didn't get my refund.
I chatted with a rep after 2 weeks and was told they are working on it and that it should take a couple more days (after two weeks still working on it!). Lucky for me I am very organize and I write myself reminders on my calendar so I remembered ro check again and contacted again. They said they will refund in the next 2 days... I asked the rep "what if I didn't call?" then you would keep the money and not refund? (of course the rep didn't have an answer). Are they counting on people to forget? There was no email from them that the items were received, no communication after I sent back the items... only when I chatted again and told the rep (Nickaylor W) that I will dispute the charge he said refund in 2 days. I asked him to email me something that refund will take place in 2 days, but he just disconnected from the chat. I copied and saved the chat for my record.

DON'T ORDER ANYTHING! I ordered something on the 12 for my sister's birthday on the 26. When I ordered it the guaranteed date was the 24. It is the 28 and STILL NOT DELIVERED. The customer service sucks and won't do anything to make this right. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND ordering from here.

After three separate attempts (on two days) at placing an online order I finally purchased several pairs of jeans (6) for my son as a Christmas gift. After each attempt I got to the screen "Thank You Something Wonderful Is Coming Your Way" but never received an email confirming my purchase. After the second time this happened I called Customer Service and was told there must have been a "glitch" in the system and to call back if it happened when I tried again. Finally on my third attempt I received an email confirming my order. Unfortunatel, I was not able to purchase two of the items from my initial orders as they were no longer available in the size and color that I wanted. I was disappointed but still happy with my purchase. That was until today, more than a week later, when I received an email informing me that two of the items are not available and they are not able to fulfill my order. I am more than a little disappointed with Nordstrom Rack! This will be my first and last purchase with this company.

I've always had positive experiences with Nordstrom/Rack, but this year I ordered a pair of Ugg boots on 12/15/17 and the website said it would ship in 1-3 business days. I panicked when it still hadn't arrived by 12/23/17 and called. They said it never got assigned to a fulfillment center and they said they'd check into it. I never heard back (and I also disappointed the person who was supposed to get the boots as a gift on Xmas day) and finally heard back after Christmas that they're sorry, the boots were apparently NEVER in stock and they'd refund my money. Yeah, right. What about the person who didn't have a gift on Christmas? Why advertise a product when you can't fulfill it? So disappointed in Nordstrom's, they used to have great customer service. I would advise people to use Amazon or Zappos instead of NOrdstroms in the future if you need something delivered on time. They have similar products and have never let me down in terms of shipping on time and getting back to me promptly.

I'm giving 1 star because I can't give 0. Nordstrom seems like they don't care for their customer or the feedback for that matter. I have experienced N number of times the shipping issues, they deliver after 15 days and that also I couldn't locate the package. After I talked to OneTrac (which they use) they told me they couldn't get much information so talk to Nordstrom for refund. After spending hours on customer service calls and not getting my package after a month of placing an order I get my refund. I get some courage to forgive and order again but yet it was another mistake. It says the package is delivered but I don't have it when I talk to customer representative they have nerve to tell me that's the best they can do and purchasing from Nordstrom Rack is up to my choice. I'm furious to see how useless their feedback system is. I mean I placed an order because I needed it and not getting it, going through trouble and spending hours on calls then conclusion being we can refund you like seriously?

They will not give me a refund after sending me a pair of men's shoes when I ordered a purse. They have the worst customer service and you do not get what you order and they will not refund you. Have to now submit a fraud charge with my credit card. SUCH A HASSLE. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

I placed an order on 1/29 and returned two items from that order. The return was accepted on 2/11. On 3/1 I realized I hadn't received my refund! I did a chat with customer service and they stated my carded had been refunded when, in fact, it had not. They looked into it further and stated a partial refund would be sent to my credit card and partial would be sent on a new gift card (I'd originally paid with part of a gift card) in 3-5 business days. It is now 3/13 and I have yet to receive that gift card (I did get the portion back to my credit card). I did another chat with customer service and now they're claiming there was a glitch causing the gift card to not be mailed out. They stated this time that a new card would be arriving in 5-7 business days. It's completely unacceptable that it's already been over a month since THEY accepted my returns yet I don't have MY money back! To make matters worse, I lost money b/c I had to pay for the return shipping! This will be the last time I shop at Nordstrom Rack!
