Yesterday I went to a Nordstrom rack store in San Leandro,Ca.Among other things I found a pair of shorts Which I liked. I am size 34. They had 32 and 36. A kind lady was able to locate one in Dublin,a few miles away(one pair only). I rushed to Dublin,without taking a picture, or remembering the brand.There I found the nicest young lady Victoria. Based on my description,style,color,she went in the back.3-4 minutes later she came back holding them with a beautiful smile on her beautiful face.she made my day. How wonderful will be life with Victoria(S) EVERYWHERE..

“Scammy shipping/ online business model”

Nordstrom Rack uses OnTrac shipping which is notorious for "losing" packages. My package was "lost" but this was only determined after I repeatedly contacted Nordstrom Rack via their customer service chat and phone number. I was able to get a full refund by calling their number and clearly explaining my situation, however, I can only imagine the number of customers that wouldn't advocate for themselves in that way due to a variety of reasons. This would lead me to believe there are many NR customers which do not receive their purchase yet NR still profits. Seems clear that NR cares about profit far more than their reputation and/or customer satisfaction. This being said, I'd shop at NR only in-person at an actual storefront, never again online.

I am encountering a significant delay in shipping my order. I have placed an order on 4/29/2017, and according to my account on Nordstrom Rack, the order was shipped on 5/2/2017, and I was provided with a track number from UPS with final delivery being done by USPS. Since 5/2/2017 until now, there is no information regarding my order. I called UPS to inquire, they said that the order has not even been picked up yet from Nordstrom rack, and that the rack store has only created a mail receipt without even handling the order yet... I called the online customer service from Nordstrom rack, she was very rude, she said (hey your order was shipped and you have to wait, our commitment is to ship within 3 days, and we are not responsible about delivering your item), I told her the order has not been shipped, she said ( Do I need to repeat myself? The order has been shipped and you just need to wait, we don't have to give you information about where is your item now)... This will be my last time ordering from them, and I will never recommend there online website to anyone...

I can't understand why ppl hang up on you when you try to find out your order i don't like Nordstrom rack this place use the covid 19 as a excuse I place a order I would like my things that I ordered but I have to wait three weeks for it to come or a month

They ripped me off badly. They gave me 50% off on an item and used a fictitious retail and I paid 20% over the regular price. That is the ultimate fraud.

Tip for consumers:
Don't think you're saving money when they make up prices and give you a big phony discount and you're actually paying full price.

None sent back due to fraudulent price given.

I originally placed my order on November 23rd. As I live in Canada, I had to pay the ticket price in CAD rather than USD. That's fine, however when they cancelled my order over a week and a half later (without telling me), they refunded me less than what I had originally paid! The exchange rate had fallen between the time I placed my order and the time they cancelled it, so they refunded me the full amount in USD, however that was less than what I paid in CAD! As a consumer, why am I taking on the exchange rate risk when this was their mistake? They were the party that didn't fulfill their obligation, so they should incur the loss on exchange not me! When I called in to complain, they informed me that they don't have a complaints department and all I could do was tell the customer service supervisor. She has no authority to change this at all - so really they're telling me they don't care and there's nothing I can do to get my money back. Horrible business practices. Will not be shopping here ever again.

My experience with Nordstrom Rack wasn't the best or the worst.

One traumatic incident that I experienced with Nordstrom Rack was when they sent me a pair of shoes that was 2 sizes bigger than what I'd ordered. The shoes were $270 (which is a lot to me). I had to initiate the return and of course, according to their return policy, I had to pay the cost of the return postage ($5.95) even if I wasn't going to use their return method.

Following that, my order somehow disappeared off the grid and I panicked because it was nearing the end of the return window. Luckily, Nordstrom Rack worked with me and proceeded with the return even with the missing order. (The item eventually successfully arrived at the warehouse after almost a month.)

I personally found it unfair that I had to pay for the cost of the return shipping even though Nordstrom Rack made a mistake with my order. Furthermore, I live overseas and my return cost amounted to almost $30, which I had to bear.

Other than this incident, my experience with Nordstrom Rack was passable. I like the fast shipping even though they sometimes lie about their delivery time and pretend that your stuff has arrived when it in fact only arrives a few days later.

I always appreciate the friendly, individualized service I receive at Nordstrom Rack, Rockaway Mall. They are my go-to shop for purchases. Thank you Jose, Kristine, Breanda, Grecia, Janaina. You are the best. And the Managers Ataya and Remi. Thank you for all your professionalism. Great job

I ordered a cotton dress with cotton liner, I received a crappy Rayon dress with no liner. Totally deceived with lies in their ad. They are liars who will steal your money

Ok I shop online a lot because it is easy I must buy 1000 or more a month from them but this is the thing they treat me horrible when I saw one of the idem that I just bought and it was on sale the next day they would not give me the sale price and did I tell you I spend 1000 or more a month there wow and they give these crummy Nordstrom notes on there credit card but only after you go to 2000 points horrible they don't even give u birthday gift card THEY DO NOTHING GOOD FOR THERE COSTUMERS I GET MORE FROM forever 21 they give a gift card on your birthday and if you spend money they give 119 gift card with there credit card and Macy's gives u a gift card on Birthday this place is not good at all they treat you like garbage I am going to cancel my card soon if they don't step up to plate and also horrible customer service they never do nothing and you don't even get free shipping on 50 purchases you have to spend a 100 to get it this is a horrible place

When I checked this out with the Rideau
Store Alterations- Dept. They said there would definitely be a charge $$…mis leading customers Buyer Beware

I'll say, the stores, absolutely yes. Online, absolutely NEVER AGAIN. Nordstrom merchandise, at a discount, with Walmart customer service. If that. Merchandise, excellent. Customer service, a total fail. Not to mention the actual site itself, which barely works, sometimes, when it feels like it. And FYI, it's not about clearing my cache or using the app, you dorks. Your site just sucks!

At one point I had to even open a BBB case, because the customer service sucked so much. Seriously? Come on guys. Fortunately a Nordstrom Rack just opened in our area. Problem solved. Always great shoe selection, in fact that's the main thing I buy from any Nordstrom Rack. Some pretty good selection on clothes too, but a little hit or miss on plus size clothing, mostly a miss.

Got some super cute Uggs at a great price, plus some great rain boots and other boots as well this winter, before our local Nordstrom Rack opened. Merchandise great, almost always, but again, and I cannot stress this enough, customer service is an absolute abomination! Fire them all and start from scratch.

As an Elite Member of Nordstrom and their spin offs, I quit. Christmas 2020 was a disaster…… products not delivered, wrong sizes, no customer service. But I forgave them, even had to pay them for items not received. But it's 2021/ 2022 and I try again, cash in some points get a hundred dollar gift card, place an order Total 389.57, so gift card only covered a portion.
I get a notification the next day my order was cancelled, why? I email, I call…. No one can explain or return my 100.00 gift card. This was the 16th of January, I have emailed the support center and called everyday since, yes I'm a pest but I want answers and my money back, neither of which they seem to want to provide. Today they say wait until Feb. 5th snd we might have some answers. I will wait but expect nothing. This is just not a company I choose to do business with any longer! And you shouldn't either, their stock is tumbling and they are in trouble, don't get caught up in their mess! Nordstrom used to stand for customer service above all, now I believe that stand for "Screw the consumer and basically stealing."
Yes I'm angry, I've spent hours trying to resolve this, I'm done.

BEWARE of Nordstrom Rack online security and customer service
The first time I place an order with Nordstrom Rack, someone immediately breaks into my account and spends over $1,000. Their online security is obviously very poor. I order online from countless companies and never had this problem. The customer service has been above and beyond a nightmare on top of their poor online security. For the order I did actually place, I returned 8 items, and they only refunded me for 1 item. After more than 3 hours on the phone (mostly hold times waiting to be transferred to someone who cant help me and none of these people seem to be shocked by the horrible experiences Ive had and only experiences Ive had with them). Then a supervisor says they received 5 items back. (Yet, they only refunded me for 1) Later he says 7 items. Then he says he cant talk to me about my account because its closed due to the fraud. Three hours on the phone, not even close to being resolved, they still owe me money, and my account was compromised because of them. Ive been on a hold for another hour just waiting for a supervisors, supervisor. Reporting to BBB.

Always follow Nordstrom Rack because of you can find very expensive items for less than 10 dollars. In comparison to Dillards you can find bags here 30-20 dollar less.

I ordered quite a few things online last summer and nothing was shipped. Items prob cost me 600 or more, I had to chase them down all summer for refunds. I got emails sporadically over the summer saying the items aren't in stock- stuff I ordered months prior. I called, emailed and no response was not until the store opened I went in and talked to customer service and got a refund here and there, hopefully for all the things I would have to go back months months bank records matching up the payments and refunds. I thought I would give them one more chance for a good deal online because they said they ship with in 5 days. Well I just got an email saying they r working on shipping. I think if something isn't for sale- don't list it for sale and take payments. I love the stores- shopping in person is great- use the stores don't order online u get fleeced. I don't know how it's legal to do that to folks. I should add that I have made plenty of purchases online and some major ones for winter coats from saks off 5th, Alice and Olivia, Micheal Kors, Aquatalia, TJMaxx, for example- these companies have had no problems what so ever shipping their items they sell. Again I would say protect yourself and don't order online from Nordstrom rack- go into the store the store is great online is at best a scam.

I ordered three items on Sept. 15th.
I still DO NOT have my items by Sept. 26.
Checked tracking number - says it was delivered - it was not.
Had to call NR for them to tell me there was a 'glitch' in the system and they would have to resend my items.
NR then told me they could not fill 1 item and would only be sending 2 items.
I asked for a complete refund due to annoyance in shipping times.
They REFUSED to give me a refund, saying I would have to wait until receiving my package.
It is now OCTOBER 4th, NO PACKAGE. NR DOES NOT KNOW WHERE MY PACKAGE IS IN TRANSIT (BLAMES USPS). AND REFUSES TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.

NORDSTROM RACK STEALS MONEY FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I am so disappointed with my experience shopping online with Nordstrom! First, I found two outfits for my wife for Christmas gifts. I wasn't able to completed the order at the checkout section online and had to call by phone to completed to my order. Sadly after I completed my order of the two outfits, I received an emailed informing me that one of my orders were cancelled because it wasn't in stock! And secondly the other outfit arrived to Houston. Therefore the tracking number showed the order all being delivered to the Nordstrom rack store, but after many many calls to the store no one was able to find my order. I purchased my order on 12/11/2020 and it arrived at the store on the 12/23/20. Sadly my order was lost in the Nordstrom rack store! I WILL NEVER SHOP ONLINE WITH NORDSTROM AGAIN!

What happened to Nordstrom Rack? I have bought so often from them over the years, that I didn't even check their pricing when I purchased about $1000 from them on Dec 31,2021. I assumed Rack's pricing was the lowest, based on my past experiences. I assumed Rack was being truthful when they claimed their $52.97 price tag was 24% lower than market price of $69.99 for
"MOBILE DOG GEAR 9.5oz. Water Bottle - Black/Blue - Set of 2, Main, color, BLACK/BLUE".
Since making that purchase, I have researched the competition's pricing which is easy to do. In an instant, I pulled up dozens of competitors - all priced CONSIDERABLY LOWER than Nordstrom Rack. Rack was the highest priced with every single product search. And that price tag that claimed they was 24% lower? It was completely false. The original price at every other store was $37.99 or $39.99 for a set of 2, about $25 for 1 - ORIGINAL price. I looked up Nordstrom Rack's pricing adjustment policy and, guess what? They don't offer price adjustments. Here's what their website says: "At Nordstrom Rack stores and nordstromrack.com, we work hard to offer competitive prices on everything we sell. With this effort in mind, we do not price match or make adjustments, as our prices change often to ensure the best possible value, every day." So, guys, looks like Nordstrom Rack is taking advantage of people who trust the Nordstrom name and believe that Nordstrom Rack is still a discount store. I'll be returning my $1000 worth of purchases which is a big bummer.

Tip for consumers:
Price compare before you buy from Nordstrom Rack. I bought a pet carrier and other Pet Life supplies and, while waiting for my items to arrive, I researched and see that every single item I bought from Rack was priced significantly than ALL the competitors, not just one or two, but ALL. For example, the pet carrier cost $105 at Rack. It costs $77 - $85 same color at all the other competitors including Petco, Petsmart, Amazon, Walmart, etc.

None, it looks like I will be returning all my pet sitter supplies. I discovered that the products are way overpriced after buying. I did a price comparison after purchasing and was very surprised that Nordstrom Rack was consistently much higher than ALL the competitors. Nordstrom Rack does not price match.
