“Wonderful experience”

Yesterday I went to a Nordstrom rack store in San Leandro,Ca.Among other things I found a pair of shorts Which I liked. I am size 34. They had 32 and 36. A kind lady was able to locate one in Dublin,a few miles away(one pair only). I rushed to Dublin,without taking a picture, or remembering the brand.There I found the nicest young lady Victoria. Based on my description,style,color,she went in the back.3-4 minutes later she came back holding them with a beautiful smile on her beautiful face.she made my day. How wonderful will be life with Victoria(S) EVERYWHERE..

“Scammy shipping/ online business model”

Nordstrom Rack uses OnTrac shipping which is notorious for "losing" packages. My package was "lost" but this was only determined after I repeatedly contacted Nordstrom Rack via their customer service chat and phone number. I was able to get a full refund by calling their number and clearly explaining my situation, however, I can only imagine the number of customers that wouldn't advocate for themselves in that way due to a variety of reasons. This would lead me to believe there are many NR customers which do not receive their purchase yet NR still profits. Seems clear that NR cares about profit far more than their reputation and/or customer satisfaction. This being said, I'd shop at NR only in-person at an actual storefront, never again online.

I ordered two pairs of shoes, and returned them within the 90 days. For $40 spent I got $11 dollars back. Apparently "USPS is slow" that's what the customer service lady said and it took almost 2 weeks for them to receive my package which put me over the 90 days. I told her that she could check the postage. She said that they won't go by the postage date. This was my first and last time ordering from them. -make your customer happy. This wasn't a repeat occurrence, and it wasn't my fault that usps is "slow" when delivering to your warehouse.

I decided to take a plunge and shop with Nordstrom Rack online, on receiving the items I was displeased and decided they were not worth it. However, to my surprise, months later my debit card was charged a fraudulent amount from Nordstrom Rack. I contacted Nordstrom Rack and was told I would receive a call back, I never did. I called again with no resolve. I contacted my bank, cancelled my card and ordered a new one. All because of Nordstrom Rack's fraudulent charge. I will no longer buy because it's cheaper, I will go with the more expensive, but reputable companies. Lesson learned! Never again Nordstrom Rack!

My sisters order some dressed and shoe's
But they need return one dress because the items vary cheap! And try call customers service 1_*******320 but it was distrust and after call he cancelled our order too bad!

This is where we part ways. You have failed me at almost every order I've made in the past few years. Now that my daughter's Christmas is lost and essentially ruined, I feel it's time to leave you for good. It's clear my continued business hasn't been of any value to you. It's clear that my issues, as a consumer. Aren't of any real concern to you. I've broken up with many women for far less than that. It's been a wild ride and although I provided you with ample opportunities to rectify these issues, you unfortunately chose to do the bare minimum. Well, the bare minimum isn't good enough which is why I must break this thing off completely and in perpetuity. I'd say I'd wish you the best but that wouldn't be be accurate. So…. Bye.

This is the worst, most unprofessional website
I ordered a shoe for my son which we needed for a vacation, and after waiting one week to finally arrive, they sent a completely different shoe! I called them right away and they told me the one I want is sold out and there is nothing they can they. They informed me thy would send me a return shipping label to return the wrong shoe (as if that is doing me a favor). So I had to deal with the hassle of returning it. When I asked for a discount for next time, or anything to make up for this ordeal, I was told there is nothing they can do. Wake up, Nordstrom rack, in this day and age, companies bend over back for the customer! You should do the same

Ordered 3 items received the wrong items. Spoke to 2 people one being a "manager" told I would have to reorder the product. Unfortunately they were items on the sale rack and longer have my size. Tried to get them to search who would have ordered the items I received I provided them with a screw #'s maybe to see if they may have received my package instead. Poor customer service do not order from these guys! No help at all!

Myaccount was cancelled due to "too many returns". There was no information in the email as to what constitutes "too many". Is it based on the number of items or $$ and over what time frame? I carefully read customer service policy on line and did not find any mention of this specific reason. The only reason for unilateral cancellation currently listed on the Nordstrom Rack website is "customer buying in bulk". Additionally my account is now locked out so i cannot see my orders, shipping dates, returns or any other related information. I also now cannot return items by mail, the only option is to drive to the nearest Rack store. I find this action by Nordstrom Rack customer unfriendly and bordering on bizarre.

I ordered some fairly expensive boots around November 23rd and have yet to receive them. Customer service did not even try to contact shipping to see what was going on. I tried to cancel, but they told me I had to wait until December 14th to cancel and that they could not do anything else for me. I don't recommend anyone ordering products from Nordstrom Rack on line. Oder no is. *******.

I bought a dress online, decided that it did not fit my purpose. I went online to create a return label. My order number was not found. So I ended up on a chat with them. I spent at least 45-60 minutes trying to get this item return, only to be told that it was going to Cost $9.95! They advertise free returns! Nowhere on their ordering page is it indicated that free returns only applies to returns at the store. It states that a return at the store is faster. Not that it is the only way not to be charged for a return. So, now I have to drive 45 minutes to return the item. I will not order anything online from this store again. They utilize deceptive practices.

Ordered boots on Oct 12. Received confirmation. A week later they said item was delivered and sent photo of a pkg at a door, not mine! I called, we figured out the tracking # was wrong. Was told I'd receive by Oct 25. On Oct 23,24 25 and 26 I received notice that my boots were being delivered that day! Nothing came! Called again- Rep said it would be best to cancel order and refund my Paypal account. OK fine. Waiting to see when that happens. NEVER AGAIN!

Their are physical stores that are much better than their online version. They will take any returns as well from their dept full line store, and if an item is not available, with a UPC number they can order from another store anywhere in the USA or Canada. Also every associate should have a mobile to quickly check out customers should a line form at the registers. Do not shop online as they are unable to accomodate every order (lack of stock at fulfillment center?)

Tip for consumers:
Go to actual store not online for any holiday orders. If item is not available, the order could be shipped from another store for a small fee.

While my online purchase from Nordstrom Rack (Hautik Rack) was charged on my Nordstrom credit card... the two are nothing alike in service. I ordered a small item under $27.00 and was charged $7.95 for shipping. It did not fit so using their return label cost another $5.95. So, it cost over half of the items value for shipping. I won't use again because there are so many great websites that offer faster shipping for free.

I ordered a pair of Bed Stu boots. I paid a high shipping charge. It took a long time to get the product. When I opened the box they sent me the wrong boots. In order to return them they deducted $5.95 for shipping (even though they sent the wrong item) & they no longer offer that item. What a waste of time & money. I recommend the on line store Buckle shipping is quick & orders are always correct!

My packages never arrived and they refuse to refund. I called USPS using the tracking number provided. It turns out that Nordstrom rack shipped my package to the wrong address (not the one I provided). They asked me to contact the police and provide them the subpoena to receive their investigation of my package. It is not my fault of giving them the correct address and they provided USPS with the wrong one.

Nordstrom is known for their amazing customer service but I've been sorely disappointed by the service both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack have provided. My order from The Rack took forever to get shipped, and then the 'Arrival Date' kept being moved... It should not take 3 weeks to ship a simple article of clothing that is in stock.

Ordered quite a few items on October 23rd. When I placed the order it said it would ship in 4-7 days. Then a few days later I look online and they changed it to 7-10 days without informing me. On October 31 I received an email saying they're having an issue processing my order when online it says my items are all ready to be shipped. And now still no word on when I will receive these items. This is the absolute worst online shopping experience I have ever had. They clearly hate their customers because I am not the only one experiencing this issue. It's not even holiday season to have this type of issue. Get it together.

Within the last month, Nordstromrack.com delivered items other than what I've ordered TWICE! The wrong items are totally irrelevant (ordered jeans got a tank, ordered scarf got pants, etc.) to what I ordered! The weird thing is the transparent plastic bag holding the item still has name label of the correct item on it. The same thing happened a couple of times during past years, and I found the items I ordered and replaced mysteriously by something else have some common traits, they are name brands, they are sought-after hot items offered at deep discount price! I was just lucky enough to grab them as "1 item left".

All these makes me highly suspect it was someone replaced/stole the item I ordered when they were handling my order for whatever dark purposes they had! When employees value honesty low, we can easily see a highly raised red flag for the management! And I don't believe rack has the same management team as nordstrom.

They charged me for an item and marked it returned on the order invoice sent to my email. When I called customer service they could not seem to figure out how to assist me with getting the charge reconciled on my account. Horrible.

I had got quality clothes at good prices with nordstromrack before, but was truly disappointed with them in the few months. A leather blazer I ordered a few months ago was defective with holes. My last order was charged but never fulfilled. The most recent experience concerns a return. They deducted 50% of the price I paid (about 40 dollars) claiming it's late fee+shipping fee (5.99), which means I spend nearly 50 dollars for the return. When I complained, they said they are sorry but saying sorry is all they do.

Placed an order for two identical items for Christmas gifts. They canceled one due to "inventory issues" (although the item still shows as in stock on their site). I called to cancel the other item, as I needed both of them, and they refused to let me cancel even though the item has not shipped. They said "unfortunately, our cancellation window is only 60 minutes from when the order is placed". Ridiculous.

Nordstrom rack no longer includes original shoe boxes when you order shoes online. This is very frustrating because many times I'm purchasing shoes as gifts for others and it looks so unprofessional and shady when the shoes comes in a clear plastic baggie and not the original box! The box provides valuable info like the shoe name, sizing, etc. Not including them is just so impractical and makes for such a poor experience, especially when you're paying for higher end brands.

They canceled my order with the reason of "Payment issue", I used a gift card and will have to wait for a new gift card to come in the mail. When trying to log into my account it wouldn't let me so I tried resetting my password and apparently my email isn't valid even though they've been sending me many emails to it. I'm very upset, when I called they hung up on me after telling me they would send me to someone else. This is ridiculous..

I wish I'd read the reviews before I placed an online order with Nordstrom's rack. Ordered a pair of Frye boots and they have been giving me the run around for nearly three weeks. No delivery updates online for 10 days. When I call customer service (5 times so far), I've got responses stating the package will be delivered today, or it will be delivered tomorrow, or it will be delivered in three days. I'm tired of the run around and I just want my money back... NEVER AGAIN!

I placed an order and then got notified that it was being delivered to my door. I get home and there's nothing. Called Nordstrom Rack and they said I'd get it the following day. It never happened. I called again and they said they'd have an UPS person on the line to clear the issue. All I got told was that UPS would open an investigation and it would take a few days. However, immediately after the call, I got an email from Nordstrom Rack saying that my return request had been approved and I'd get refunded. I cringed! I never asked for a return or cancelation! No apologies, no explanation whatsoever! I really feel I got tricked as they must have sold my items to someone else and made a fool of me. If you are considering buying from these folks, good luck. I've normally had a really good experience with them but the poor customer care service this time really annoyed and disappointed me. Never again. And I wish I could have given them a zero star in this review!
